I have been to Culver's a few times. I love the patty melt and cheese curds. Pricing is fair and the food tastes fresh and hot. I'm not a big fan of frozen custard but even with that the shakes and desserts are still good to me. Everything is really heavy so be prepared unless you eat that way all time. read more

Culvers use to be my favorite place to eat. Recently i had a bad experience when we ordered 3 bananna splits they somehow seemed to mess all three up. So my boss called talked to a manager and they were suppose to send coupons well short story they never did so my boss called again and the person told her well just give your names and we will get them for you . So i go in to give them my name and my boss name to get them and the shift leader was so rude she said i have call the general manager and was looking at me with a stupid look like i was lieing and the general manager says well i will give u one free and 2 dollars off the next well no cause i paid for 3 and your people who are always under staffed and not very well trained was smercking at me in the ruddest way ever like i was the problem well i use to go there 2 to 3 times a week well not anymore food is good but u lost 5 customer because all that rudness over bananna splits wasn't worth it how hard is just making them correctly for the 1st time but dnt say your gonna fix it come back and get all u managers and shift leaders should be on the same page.... so irritating when they are so busy and so many times got something wrong on our orders and i know they are busy but they dnt work as teams and bumping into each other well get a system and work it out but dnt tell me your gonna replace and then be rude about it.. read more

At every other Culvers the kids meal has a free scoop and you can get one topping as long as it's not nuts, here they force you to get flavor of the day or only plain custard, we have 4 kids and this is a great perk but obviously this Culvers tries to make more money by charging for any topping since it's close to I-10 and they get many travelers, we are from Goodyear, Az and the 3 or 4 Culvers we have visited around town (phx) are the same.. We left sadly without out kids having any ice cream- I guess we will just stop by the one near our home (Avondale) and get our normal free scoops :( never stopping here again read more

I like this particular Culvers, in Casa Grande. The place is clean and the staff are always friendly. I love their custard! Burgers are pretty good as well as the onion rings. Shrimp dinner is fairly tasty also. read more

I came in to grab a cone of the flavor of the day. I walked in to find a massive line that went almost to the door with only one person on the register, so it was pretty understaffed. Benefit of the doubt, it could have been a random unexpected rush since it was a Thursday evening. I was willing to wait to order. That is until I overheard the manager on duty (I should have got a name, but whoever was there Thursday evening 10/4/18) loudly yelling at the staff to hurry up. It wasn't the sort of encouraging "We can get through this" so much as it was impatience and frustration being taken out on a team that was clearly understaffed for the amount of business that was in the store at that time. So, I left without my cone. It's really really awkward and uncomfortable to watch management degrade the staff. read more

Let's start out by saying this isn't the first time I have had such bad service from this place. 1st time was about 3 yrs ago. So this time we went through the drive thru and tried to order 2 deluxe baskets, but she tried to give us 2 baskets and a single bigger. So we told her we would just place our order at the window. So drive up to the window and repeat our order for a 3rd time. 2 Deluxe basket 1 with no sauses and no cheese and the other with everything on it. I repeated the order a 4th time. She gives me my soda and tells us to move forward. So we move forward and wait for 7 minutes and the food comes out. Before we leave I make sure my basket has no sauses and no cheese but low and behold it has all of it still on it! After I repeated the order multiple times. So we park and I go in and waiting again in another line to tell them my order isn't the way I ordered it. They make me another burger and I get that burger 8 minutes later. When I was handed my new burger I asked her if I could get some salt packets and she throws packets in my bag. I then get into the car and proceed to get the salt out and the person gave me pepper instead . I was so irritated by this time the person with me had to go in and deal with the salt issue. Now instead of going through a drive thru and spending what should have been no more than 10 mins to grab some food and get back on the road. I've spent enough time there I should have just gone to a restaurant and sat down for my meal. I'll not be back and suggest you not go if your looking for a fast and a correct food order!!!! read more

A few days ago I wrote the review you may find below. Today I was contacted by the owner of the restaurant and I was informed that these employees actually volunteer to work on that day, which means they are not mandated to do it. Starbucks does the same thing and they also get paid a differential for working on that day. In that case, I would like to change my rating for this place and rate them for what I actually love them for: the hamburgers. I also appreciate the customer service provided by owner to take the time to come to the consumer level to clarify a concern... ********************************************************************************************** I love this place... BUT: I was very disappointed to see that they will be open from 10am to 8pm on THANKSGIVING DAY! And they have the nerve to put up a sign saying (quote) "We will be closing early so our employees will have more time to spend with their families". They close at 10pm on a regular basis. So shame on you Culver's that you are taking pride in giving your employees 2 lame extra hours to spend with their families on one of the most important holidays in this country! Typically I adore Culver's but today's experience was horrible and rude! I ordered adult meals and a kids meal and saw a sign that said kids meals M-Wednesday $3 and paid and sat down. When I looked at my receipt I realized we were charged $5.99 so I spoke to the cashier and she apologized and asked for a manager. She told the manager she accidentally charged me full price. The manager looks right at me and says I'll refund the difference this one time but it is your responsibility to catch this and tell the cashier you want the $3 deal not the full price! That was rude considering I can't see the prices since there aren't screens showing you prices until after you pay and get a receipt and as a customer why should I have to say I want the advertised price right in front of me! Also, this is not a location I visit since I was only passing through to go to Tucson! What a way to show out of town customers read more

Exceptional customer service! I'm originally from Wisconsin where Culvers was born, so i've been to quite a few. Our cashier had excellent menu suggestions and was very knowledgeable as to portion sizes. The manager Dustin went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. We left very impressed. I had the sourdough melt and root beer float. Both were delicous!! The pattis are totally fresh and yummy and the bread was buttered and grilled nicely. The onions that they grill into the pattis are super good. I loved it!! The root beer float was one of the best I've ever had. They make their own rootbeer and it's really good. I really enjoy this place, when I came to Arizona for a visit and heard it was about 45 minutes from me I was so excited, silly cause it's just a fast food place, but reminds me of home. I haven't really tried a variety of items from the menu, I don't eat there much since I live far away, but the butterburger and fries are my go to meal there, I also like their strawberry malts and shakes. The few times I have been I have always had good service, never dealt with any rude employees so that is also a plus :-). read more

We visited this Culvers twice now while traveling into town to visit family. We had excellent food and service both times. Everyone we talked to was so friendly and helpful. Member of our family have tried the Butter Burger (a burger with butter, what!?!), the pot roast (which is excellent and is as good as our mom's, surprising b/c this is fast food!) and the custard. The pumpkin shake was insane! If you like pumpkin, get this shake!. Love the atmosphere at this store. It's not like any other fast food joint I have been to. It was very cozy and inviting (loved the big screen TV!) and the patio with fireplace. We will definitely be back when we visit again. read more

Ordered a cooler in the drive thru. Waited for 10 minutes while other cars before and after me received their meals. Decided to get down to see what the hold up was. They had the cooler on the counter and didn't bother to take it to me. Manager offered to make a fresh cooler and apologized for the situation only after spending more of my time explaining to me that she will look into what was the hold up.
