But I was basically scolded that I had ordered incorrectly because I did not say cheese sauce. Wait! I didn't say chili either! Worst customer service ever. Busy but organized they forgot about my order and me in the parking lot. After waiting the first 15 minutes I got out of my vehicle and flagged down staff member #1 to ask about my order and they said they would have to remake my order because they apparently couldn't find my vehicle. However I was parked exactly where they told me too. 10 minutes later staff member #2 comes out to ask me what I ordered and can they get me anything additional. I say no, thank you, just my order and another 15 minutes later no order. So I go into the building as for the manager, she says how can I help you? I tell her about my order and she says oh, we will remake it!? I said no thank you I don't have another 30 minutes to waste. Can I please get my money back. She hastily move towards the cash register and gives me my money. No apologies. read more

I pass this place often and this was only my 2nd time. I purchased what turned out to be a double cheese burger. The meat was good, but the sandwich as a whole was dry. There was no catsup, or Mayo...just 2 pieces of meat, 1 or 2 pickles, onion, a piece of tomato..I think..let me look again..NOPE. The fries were your ordinary frozen crinkle cut..at least that's how they tasted. I did not get a milkshake, but I must say, I do not understand the hype. Stay away from the University location unless you want your order messes up NUMEROUS TIMES! We have only come here for ice cream through the drive thru and EACH time, tonight being our 4th, THEY MESSED UP AGAIN. If you want a down home all American burger place try Culvers. We got introduced to them in MN years ago. We loved it when we moved to Charlotte and found out they are in this area. I am In burger love. They are fantastic. Have the necessary crusty goodness. Bread is toasted. Toppings fresh. I am partial to the mushroom Swiss and the bacon adding the mushrooms. Overall I love the food at Culver's. The burgers and shakes are great. However the service at the Culver's on University Blvd definitely needs some help. I sat in the drive through line for at least 5 minutes then actually backed out and went inside to Order. Thanks to the car behind me he let me back out. As I got inside there was no one in line (except me) and 6 people standing behind the counter doing nothing. There needs to be someone giving the people direction (management). Let me start by saying I have not had their food. I simply wanted ice cream. Their drive through process is so screwed up that getting ice cream is a pain- I can't imagine trying to wait for food with this set up. There is only room for maybe 1 or 2 cars to wait behind the person ordering in the drive through. Once you order you drive to the window and pay, then they toss a number at you and make you drive around to the front of the building. After 15 minutes (keep in mind we ordered one up of ice cream) I went inside to see what the issue was, only to find that they never brought it out to us and it was melted all down the side of the cup. read more

My husband and I came here after an IKEA trip. They've only been open 3 days but the Culver's standard is strong at this location. The food was great and it was delivered by smiling kids. When you go to the drive thru they give you a hang tag and ask you to pull around the building and they will bring your order to you. There is nothing more irritating to me than to be told to pull up at the drive thru. The burger was very good it certainly made up for the wait. The burger was just made and was great. read more

Meh. The good is the nice service and the quality of the beef. The bad is the grease saturating all you eat; and the bland taste to the burger. I've never heard of Culver's but I'm glad I found it! They have great food...cooked to order. They actually listen and cook the food how you tell them. It's rare now days to get good customer service, but they have perfected it at this location. They greet customers and have a great attitude. The restaurant is clean; including the bathrooms. Love the great quality food, especially for the price! There are plenty of staff who are very eager to help. The dining room was packed but they were there helping clear tables and wipe them down. Although it took about 15 minutes to get our food, they are new, so it was fine with me. My food was hot and delicious. After having a minor problem with my order I brought it to their attention, and the way they handled it is another reason they are getting 5 stars. I enjoyed my lunch at Culver's. Having eaten at other Culver locations several times, I knew what to order - a single, deluxe burger. This time I tried a chocolate shake that had great flavor, but it was a bit too thick for me to drink through the straw. Next time I'll stick with having my Culver's ice cream as a dessert. This location is very, very popular and I recommend entering from the Ikea side of the parking lot so as not to be blocked by the long line of cars at the drive through window. read more

I've never been to one of these establishments before so my expectations were nonexistent. Culver's went above and beyond that low bar of mine. Good food. Excellent and speedy service. The atmosphere felt relaxed, even for how packed the place was, it never slinked into complete bedlam. I was especially impressed with the gluten-free bun, which was savory and flavorful like it has been grilled in butter. Side note: Since this fast food joint permits open carry, expect to see patrons with pistols strapped to their cargo shorts. While this isn't much of an issue, being caught unawares of the situation could give you a slight shock at a family restaurant as you stuff your face hole with the delectable crispy fries Culver's offers. But this detail is trivial and by no means detracts from the place or prevents me from visiting the establishment again. If pressed, I'd say it only adds flavor of the whole Culver's experience. The one reason I dropped a star is because the ice machine didn't work and the iced tea was served warm. But, my wife loves the chicken. read more

I went today and ran into an issue with what I ask for vs is what I received When two employees assured me it would be in the bag,I called it was disconnected multiple times then when I finally was able to get the manager or the so-called manager Dan on the phone he was very unprofessional and rude, when any inconvenience happens to a customer that is willing and paying money for your services and or food I should not have to deal with lack of customer service especially when it comes from the manager I informed l him I will be calling corporate and he said I am corporate. To be honest I was astonished and chuckled a little bit because of how immature and unprofessional the manager was. I will not be returning to this location and I definitely will be contacting the actual corporate office. If you do not like or enjoy your job you should definitely find another one. Culver's is right up there with Chick Filet. The food is fresh and flavorful. The Frozen Custard is the best you've ever had. You receive old fashioned customer service and you never feel like they are rushing you or that you are just a "number". Many other restaurants could take notice of training their staff as well as they do here. The location is great however I wish they would open one up near Concord Mills. read more

I love Culver's, and coming from Wisconsin, this place made me feel at home. However, I just felt like their service is not up to par. I spent almost $25, and they of course forgot some of my items. I didn't notice until I got home. So, when I tried to call their phone to let them know, it rang a few times and went to voicemail. It's saddening when one of my favorite places can't even answer the phone. I probably won't be going back for a while because apparently no one is running the place. The food is great, but when the service is terrible, I'd rather go somewhere else. read more
