I've been going to this location since it opened and the food is always top notch however the service isn't always on par. Saturday 5/16/2026 our service was exceptional and I didn't get our cashier/servers name but they were on register 3 (R3) when we arrived just before noon. My friend and I were greeted in a very friendly/fun manner and I was complimented on my cowboy hat and as I was getting my drink my friend was told we looked like we were going to a MOTORHEAD concert, which we took as a compliment becasue we bother work in the industry, and I've seen MOTORHEAD more times than I can count going all the way back to the late 80's We seated and our food came out unbelievably fast and it was delicious. We both had the Colby Jack Pub Burger value baskets and as excepted they are very fresh tasting and the fries are also excellent. A very nice surprise I wasn't expecting was that unlike other current fast food restaurants Culvers doe snot ask for a tip when payment is made. They also didn't charge us an additional fee for mayo packets. Another bonus in this day and age. Our cashier checked in with a few times and we enjoyed our meals still being friendly and fun. At the end we did our surveys on the receipt and got free custard as a reward. Up till this day my favorite Chicago location has been the location on W Montrose under the CTA Brown Line but this experience has changed that and it much closer to home. I really try to be reserved in giving negative reviews. I know most places are trying their best and sometimes there are just one-offs that don't truly represent a business' products or services. However, after multiple visits to this location, I felt it needed to be reviewed honestly. After my visit today, I will not be going back to this location. I did a mobile order and the area to pick up (inside) is really cramped. I went to the counter to tell them I was picking up. The employee I interacted with was really rude and seemed super annoyed. I even prefaced it with I don't know if it's ready even, which is fine, just checking in. I observed her interactions with other customers, and it was really disheartening. Being mean to an older gentleman and a patron who didn't speak much English. Very disappointing. The mushroom burger tasted like cigarettes and was burned - inedible. The salad had lots of old/wilting lettuce and little to no cheese or croutons. Ended up throwing it away along with the burger. Hopefully they can turn this place around. read more

Went in for the first time the other day and I was happy to see an actual clean restaurant. A worker was in the dining area cleaning tables and clearing trays, not used to seeing that in fast food. Burger was fresh and seasoned well. I got to actually speak to the general manager and the assistant manager about this and I'm shocked to see bad reviews but something had to change as I had a different experience from everyone else it seems. Right across from Wrigley Field makes it even better considering a lot of restaurants here want to get you in and out especially during a game. Keep it up. read more

The service was horrible, they forgot about our order and served multiple people before us. We only ordered ice cream and spent about 20 minutes waiting for it while others with more complicated orders (including ice cream) after us got served promptly. They forgot what we ordered, asking us what we got and then took another 10 minutes getting the ice cream to us. And it still was not the correct order. First time visiting and just so happens it was on a severe stormy day. Me and my friend came in soaking and the staff was so sweet about it giving us paper towels and being silly. I have a complaint about a very rude and disgusting employee named Kevin. I've been going here since I was young, I went to the nearby highschool Addison trail. I've been away from college but I've just recently came back to get Culver's. Honestly I don't think I can come back. First when I got there this employee named Kevin took so long to take my order. Then when I asked for a water cup he out right said no very rudely. Then I got my butter burger and they added pickles on it. I preceeded to ask him if he could fix it and he said to me, you ordered it like that it's not my fault. And I know 100% I didn't because I hate pickles. I threw out my food and I was so digusted of how I was treated by Kevin. When I went home I asked my younger brothers if they had delt with this before... And sure enough they had. Apparently after they had a baseball game they asked for a water cup from Kevin which was denied. Then they were kicked out because he thought they were "too loud." I'm not a yelp person but i had such a FABULOUS experience I was inspired to share. The food-- amazing. The great culvers we all know and love, don't skip the cheese curds. The service, however took the experience to a whole other level. Major shout outs to Brenda and John and Kaori as well as the rest of the culvers crew! Avoid at all costs. Placed a mobile order for pick up and food was still not ready 20 minutes after the pick up time, some leeway is expected but come on. Went to the register for a refund and was told "well the manager may or may not be able to refund you in like 10 minutes". I asked for him again to get a refund so I could get out of there, while waiting for refund food magically appeared. Coke, Coke Zero, root beer were all out at the soda machine. I got the fish sandwich, what a major disappointment. It was one fish stick and fries for 14.00! Half of my sandwich was just bread, I left hungry. The fish was good there just wasn't much of it. I am so glad that Culver's is in my neighborhood, but in any time that I have visited a Culver's, the experience I had tonight was terrible. There was a line out the door for pick up orders and the line inside, short but took a while to order. I ordered a double butter burger with cheese/basket for inside to eat. I waited over 20 minutes for my meal, along with others that came and before me. When the meal arrived the burger was cold and so were the fries. What is going on? With the cost of prices to eat out, this was unacceptable. I mentioned to a server it was cold and all I got was a sorry and that there is a problem with staff and the kitchen. The receipt had a way to connect to a survey and the last question was whether we wanted Culver's to contact us. We said "yes." There has been no contact.
