I came downstairs because I was starving and realized it was after 1pm. I had not eaten anything. The hubby said we should go get fish from Culver's. I said only if I don't have to get fish. He said fine. So off to Culver's we went. I got the deluxe double and he got the Walleye sandwich. The young man brought our food to the table and kinda assumed the fish was mine. I said no give me the BEEF!!! My burger looked amazing and tasted just as good. The people watching from our window seat was top notch. To explain the napkin cape my husband is wearing in the photo, I always accuse him of having a hero complex after his 25 years in the military. I saw a guy come in with a little baby blanket and a toy hanging from his pants pocket. He went straight to the restroom. No kid/baby was with him. So my husband jokingly put on the cape in case he had to spring into action. I'm guessing there was an accident and the guy was handling it while his family was still in the car. Looking for Friday fish frys. Tried Culver's twice, both times ordered the walleye dinner. Service was friendly, fairly quick for a packed house and very clean..thank you! Portions of sides were good..however both times the walleye filets were a little bland. They could benefit from seasoning like wise for the tartar sauce. I originally stopped at Steak 'n Shake but I noticed there were no friendly faces, or servers. I walked out and saw this Culvers down the street. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly customers and employees. The restaurant was clean and inviting. There were 4 of us and I ordered the Pub Burger with fries and drink. The burger was good, and I really enjoyed the perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries. I also thought it was great that they had sugar free Root Beer. I'm glad we came here and I will happily come back! I always enjoy going to my local Culver's. The food is fast and fresh, and the customer service is always great! It is clean and the environment is nice! It is the only fast food spot I will sit in the dining room and eat because it is clean and neat and has beautiful natural light. I am part of their eClub, so I get emails about their specials and their monthly list of their flavors of the day. And on your eClub anniversary (the day you signed up) they give you a coupon for a free regular concrete mixer! I hate they charge extra for nuts, their custard sundaes and mixers are delicious but not cheap and to add on an extra dollar for nuts seems a bit excessive, but I get it since nuts, pecans especially, can be pricey. If I want fast food, I would pick Culver's over all the rest! read more

What's the purpose of ordering ahead of time ( via the website) for curbside pick up if you still have to go inside and wait???? I scheduled a 12pm pickup curbside at 1130ish. I called when I got to establishment. No one picked up the phone due to it not being setup per message that I received. No messages could be left. We are traveling we stopped in for a quick bite. We love Culver's they offer a snack pack for less than $5 which includes butter burger, fry's and a drink. Plenty of food. We greeted when we entered the restaurant. The staff was friendly and appeared to really love what they do. My other favorite part of Culver's is the frozen custard. They have vanilla and chocolate made fresh every day. And as a bonus they always offer an additional cold creamy flavor of the day. Today the flavor was Double Chocolate Decadence and it was was rich and delicious. We always stop at Culver's when we see them when traveling because we don't have one where we live. Then the new owners took over and jacked the prices up. that was annoying, but I was going to deal with it and just come slightly less often. Then today I was trying to use the remainder of the balance on my card and bought myself an ice cream. I asked the lady at the window if she could split the transaction between cash and card because there wasn't enough on my card to pay for it. Specifying that I wanted to use cash first. The three front employees dealing with drive through (only people I could see) were NOT wearing mask. When I asked why no mask when mandate in place for Illinois-- no comment. Also we get the favor of day a couple times a week--last three times we received few toppings if any. Basically we had cups of plain ice cream. I go into Culver's drive through for carry out often. Great food, but they will shortchange you and lie about it with no problem. I gave them a fifty and they give back change for thirty dollars. It was an eleven dollar order. They charged me double. I made them recount their registers, and they were off, but not by exactly what they stole from me, so I got nothing. Even after showing me on the receipt how their cashier punched in a 30 instead of a 50, they kept my money. Culver's is supposed to be classier than this. Like most people, I really don't like culvers food. I find the burgers are way too greasy and the other food a little dry. However, I generally like their custard. I think they have some creative "flavor of the day. I especially love the raspberry cheesecake. I will go 10 miles out of my way if there is a culvers that has this flavor on that day. I stopped in today at this culvers for that exact reason. First, I will say that the restrooms were not very clean. That always concerns me. However, the restaurant itself appeared to be well kept. When I got my two scoops in a cone, I noticed that it was running all down the cone. The ice cream was melted I asked the server and she said that is the way it is served. They mix the raspberry juice on the top and it runs down the cone. HUH??? I went ahead and took it because I love that flavor. So, I thought, who cares. When I ate through the top of the melted cone, I noticed that they had not mixed any of the flavor in the bottom 2/3 of the cone. It was only vanilla. We have been to this location several times and had fairly good service and food. However our last visit was less than satisfying. Our burgers looked like they were prepared ahead of time anticipating a lunch rush that didn't materialize. The fact we walked right up to the counter (with zero customers around to order) at 11:45 am was surprising. However the girl taking our order was less than happy to be there. It was obvious that complaining at the counter would be a waste of time. The unmelted cheese and the literally collapsed and soggy bun on our burgers were nothing like we had had there before. I Came in from out of town with a group of 50 people. We drove in from Missouri after an absolute July scorcher. Our group was fiending to fill up our stomachs. After waiting in line for an appropriate amount of time I was kindly greeted by the man running the register, his name was Joey. I would later come to learn that he was the manager. This minute detail would truly change my experience for the better. I told Joey that I wanted a chocolate ice cream with brownie and he suggested the chocolate concrete mixer with double brownie. I also ordered pretzel bites. I allowed Joey to keep the coins. After grabbing my number 32 order stand I made my way to a booth with my comrades. We created a geometric shape with all of our order stands. Eventually a worker named Cody handed me my food. Cody was very friendly and made sure we all got our orders. After scarfing down my pretzel bites and engulfing my ice cream it was nearly time to leave. My mood was lifted even more when I received the notification that Kentrell Gaulden, aka Youngboy Never Broke Again was found not guilty in court. Wouldn't normally write a review for a chain but I just had to for my experience here. My dad & I stopped here on a long bikeride since it is right next to the trail. We just got a small concrete but the place was packed. There was a band & every table taken on a Monday night! That being said, the workers were so extremely friendly I had leave a review. At first my dad & I just thought "oh that worker was friendly" but we came across more workers during our short visit & they were just so extremely nice & welcoming we couldn't believe it! I am familiar with Culvers from living in the Chicago area. This location makes your burger and fries to order. All visits have provided hot, fresh food with friendly customer service. No it's not your $1.00 burger but I do not eat that fake "meat". If you want a great burger and fries and some custard on the side this is your destination in Collinsville/Maryville. Fun place for families since every Tuesday night is kids night. The offer discounted kids meals and have someone making the children free balloon animals. Often on Monday nights, they have live acoustic music which is different for a fast food restaurant. The food is a little high in price for a fast food joint and I wish they offered something that wasn't deep fried. But I love their custard. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I would like to start off by saying do not go to this location. The ofallon Illinois location is so professional when I visit the collinsville location I'm just disgusted every time. Bad attitudes, workers not paying attention or caring to LISTEN to the customer. When I call the store to ask the cashiers name so they can be either trained better or reprimanded... and Anthony who was answering the phone was completely unprofessional and allowed a woman to answer the phone and curse me out as well as belittle me. I came through the drive through to order my daughter and son food from here because they love Culver's and whatever the cashier was doing (a young boy) he clearly didn't care to listen to my special instructions. I've never had one issue at the ofallon location. So I know this isn't me. When I pulled out of the drive way from taking my order I look at the window and the same cashier had enough time to indulge in pointing at my car and talking about me then they did just listening and taking my order. I will never return to this location I made the mistake of Returning after my order was messed up and that's my fault.
