It's definitely not the best burgers as advertised. The place is also not the cleanest, including the restrooms. We did not interact much with staff nor were we welcomed so I cannot share much on their service.

Not great. The menu/ordering process was confusing. I order the taco burger in a lettuce wrap which was a good idea in theory but not in practice. The Doritos and Fritos were inside the meat rendering them without any flavor or crunch. The burger did have a taco flavor. The lettuce was more of a bed than a wrap. The sweet potato tots were pretty good but wish they came with a sauce or something. The portions seem small for the price. It's a self-service restaurant. Probably wouldn't go back.

It was ok, but a bit overhyped in my opinion. I was looking for a quick bite for lunch when in town for an event at the convention center close by. It's definitely a quirky looking spot with some fun decor. Wasn't in the mood for a burger so I had a grilled chicken sandwich on a potato bun with the usual toppings, fries, and a bottle of water. Passable but nothing to write home about, and overall a bit pricey for what it was. Service was ok and it took a while to get my meal considering it wasn't all that busy. They played really good music here though.

Ordered a cheeseburger and Mac n cheese to go. It took 24 minutes for my order, even after telling them multiple times what I ordered. Their response was I am sorry but at least you got a fresh one. This was my first and last time eating at this restaurant. Buyer beware that the food doesn't come out like the photos on the ordering kiosks. Taste wasn't that good for either the burger or macaroni and cheese. The macaroni was better than the burger. It is nice that they do military Monday's but they should really get their act together.

Burger and cheese fries back in my hotel room

The food was good, but the service was a struggle. I arrived 30 minutes before they closed, and by the time I was at the register, it was 7:50pm. The cashier explained that they couldn't make shakes and they were out of some other thing, which I understand. I ordered a burger and fries to go. Someone came from the back area and scolded me for coming in so late "we're trying to close." I felt like I was in the way. At least the burger and fries were yummy. Also, note, they only take cash.

    Not busy, still slow

Waited over 45 minutes for a kids meal and a sandwich. As Unorganized as it gets! Watched several customers complain about their messed up orders, etc. Quite the circus! Adding: return to my hotel room to find out that part of my order was missing. I guess I should've known based on the poorly ran establishment that I should've checked my bag before leaving.

Came here tonight for dinner after someone recommended it last night who was hanging out outside of there. I figured since I was staying a block over might as well! We got the cowboy burger (not pictured) and the taco grilled cheese along with the sweet potato tots. The restaurant was really clean and so was the drink station. We were helped by Kali who was really friendly and sweet. The food didn't take too long to come out, but long enough to make you know it's probably cooked to order. The cowboy burger was absolutely amazing and so were the taco grilled cheese. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area, but if you're looking for a shake come a little earlier in the evening and not within the hour of closing.

Pretty solid for a burger, but holy cow they can get busy when there's events at the convention center across the street. They're a worthwhile stop with a bit of a contemporary vibe at off-peak times... at peak times, well, it's long lines, long waits, and service struggles. French fries are on the thicker side, hamburger patties are pretty okay, they come in two pieces so the veggies are on display. 3.5 stars, but rounding up seems fair, at least if you're able to avoid the crowds at peak hours.

Great little burger spot by the convention center in St Louis! Ate here for lunch with some coworkers and as smash burgers go, it was just what I expected. I did like the unique soda flavors as it's nice to get something different from time to time. Would definitely eat here again if given the chance.

The location of this restaurant is in close proximity to the Metrolink station, Americas Dome, Convention Center, Arch, and Cardinals Stadium. I arrived about 30 minutes before close; staff were already conducting cleaning procedures. I ordered the Cowboy Burger HiDeal. The burger was made fresh and very good. Fries were okay, not crispy but seasoned very well. Fountain drink options were good and included a zero sugar option. Even though they were near closing time, all employees were very friendly and didn't rush me. This is a solid option should you need a quick bite in St.Louis, MO. Side note: I noticed that many of the businesses close around 8/9pm.

Nice place, good service, quick food, overly expensive but still delicious and yes....ITS A STL STAPLE. Just one of the ones that's eh. I love this place though and usually go to the Skinker location. Their burgers will fill you up and leave you thinking " was worth the $18 I spent." They serve alcohol too so this is a perfect date spot or a place to stop in with friends. Sadly, the sandwich didn't make it to pictures.

    Mac n cheese and mayo

Food: outstanding Service: amazing Ambiance: excellent Notes: I have a feeling that every tourist that comes to downtown St. Lewis will tell you that the food here is incredible. Just amazing. I know it sounds abnormal, but if you come here, try the Mac and cheese with mayonnaise! The Mac and mayo just complete each other. Truly, one of the best burgers I've ever tasted.

Signature burger - overcooked and missing a second patty and all the fixings.

Awful - wait time without a line or 1/2 full restaurant - took 35+ minutes. Because order wasn't ready until the location closed it was given to close. Got back to room to discover one burger was wrong - and it came with 1 overcooked burger patty between bun. This was one of their signature burgers. If you enjoy waiting long periods of time for an overcooked burger, that is very thin then this is your place but best burger in the world, no - closer to worst burger in the world and a terrible experience.

It'll do in a pinch. Went before a concert at the dome. Very mediocre. But it was extremely busy due to concert traffic.

Since this place is such a staple, we figured we had to give it a try. The place was absolutely packed, which clearly shows it's a local favorite. Even with how busy they were, our pickup order was ready on time -- actually before the scheduled pickup since I arrived about five minutes early. The atmosphere definitely had that classic local sandwich shack vibe and seemed like it would make a great casual lunch spot for almost any occasion. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't live up to the reputation for us. We ordered the hot salami sandwiches, which they're known for, but they were extremely greasy and the only flavors that really stood out were mustard and grease. We expected a lot more flavor and balance considering it's their specialty item. We also placed a large luncheon order of 10 sandwiches. Everyone was satisfied overall and the food was decent enough, but nothing really stood out or made us excited to come back. We personally prefer Adriana's for both flavor and overall quality. One of the biggest disappointments was that none of the sandwiches had cheese on them, even though we paid an extra $2 per sandwich for the garlic cheese bread upgrade. That was frustrating considering the additional charge. Honestly, I'm guessing we may have just caught them on an off day because it's obvious this spot has a loyal following. We still appreciate supporting local STL businesses and can understand why so many people love it -- it just wasn't quite the experience we were expecting.
