Stopped in for a quick dinner at this Culver's location, this past Wednesday. My wife and I had the new pub burger which was excellent, our friend had the double butterburger and my son had the children's cheese butterburger. We all enjoyed the cheese curds with our burgers. You can't go to Culver's without ordering the cheese curds, that's for sure! The food came out quickly, was very hot and fresh and the staff was very attentive. My 3 year old son really enjoyed the custom, Culver's fish tank at this location, it was a nice touch. We enjoyed two concrete mixers and a children's sundae before leaving. A definite cut above your average fast food burger place. My burger was hot and fresh. The soft bun was great and held together while eating it. I like the choice of cheeses. Being from the state that invented culvers, I approve! I moved to Florida almost 2 years ago and was very sad to leave the state of custard and cheese curds. As soon as I found out that they were following those silly snowbirds down here to Florida I was ecstatic! I would no longer be missing out on my custard and Wisconsin melts. Their restaurant system is a great hybrid of fast food and casual sit down dining. You order at the counter, receive a number, grab your Wisconsin culvers root beer and ketchup and sit down. They bring your food moments later (all made to order) if you for some reason forgot your ketchup, with a smile the staff will say it's my pleasure to get you some! How nice. It's this Midwest hospitality that I love. If you ordered coffee you will have it in a cup, and they will walk around and refill. If you need your tray taken away they will do it. Great customer service. This location is FGCU themed and is quite cute with the fish tank. First timer? Get a melt, butter burger, or chicken tenders. Yes, we all know that Culver's is a fast food joint. If you can't tell by the drive through window, duh! Be that as it may, burgers are not greasy, they're buttery!the fried pork cutlet sandwich is right on target. Tasty and moist. The food is solid and delicious. Service could be more upbeat, energized and positive. Just no emotion from the robots that work there. Hopefully, the Estero location will hire more motivated people. Service is fantastic. Food is bland but fresh. This is a great place if all you eat are chicken nuggets and burgers. The patty is over cooked. I'm sure this is quality Midwest beef, but it's cooked so well, you may as well eat poor quality beef. This is a mega chain. There are at least 5 of them in a 10 mile radius. Obviously this is a way to take market share away from McDonalds. Time needs to be changed if they aren't going to open on the time they have it online. We came a couple mins before open time which said 10:30 we tried the doors and they were locked. After seeing Culver's recently beating out In & Out for best burger, I conveniently stumbled across one during a trip to Florida so figured wth? It's located next to World of Beer which took care of the, "but wait, they won't have beer", issue. I got the double with bacon and it was very very tasty. I would say similar to In & Out if we are comparing, in terms of flavor. I think the key is salt at both places. It was decent-sized as well. The crinkle fries were also very good. Couldn't get myself to try the cheese curds- was trying to keep it healthy . I'm sure they are great. Bonus points for the free burger with a yelp check in. Soooo, we ate that too. Had to try a concrete- right? Thankfully, they have a "mini". It was good but I don't feel it was substantially better than a decent ice cream- a bit less sweet. Glad I tried it but it probably won't change the frequency with which I visit fast food restaurants as a general rule. read more

Culver's is a Midwest based chain that really knows how to make a great burger. The patties don't hit the grill until you make your order. There are a number of varieties of burgers and specials. They also do great Fried Chicken. Where else can you get great burgers and fried chicken under the same roof? They are well known for their Frozen Custard that is absolutely delicious and there is always a flavor of the day. This Culver's is very clean and has great customer service. Workers need more training--handed me my waffle cone without paper protective covering after she handled my money. It was disgusting. The burgers had one pickle no other veggies and I had a deluxe with one slimy slice of bacon. The frozen custard was good. And yes, the burgers are a bit greasy; they are also called Butterburgers! Their patties are fashioned much in the same style as Steak 'n Shake and they offer single, double and triple burgers. Their doubles are anything but small and to be compared to McDonalds for both size and quality is ludicrous!! If you just can't get past the size and greasiness of their burgers, they have a wide variety of menu selections ranging from chicken to fish to an open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Did I mention the fried cheese curds?! How can you not love a chunk of Wisconsin cheddar cheese that has been lightly breaded and fried to ooey gooey perfection?! They are amazing!! read more

Been here twice and all I can say is that they will hopefully put McDonalds out of business. Had the Culver's Deluxe with 2 patties and the crinkle cut fries. Burger was hot and tasty and not greasy like Five Guys. Fries were hot and perfect. Haven't tried their fried cheese curds yet but will next time. Maybe I'll try one of their custards also. My food was even brought to me! My new favorite place for a burger. This is one of my favorite fast food chains. This restaurant is the best fast-food place in the University Plaza. Employees take orders accurately and efficiently, and the food is always cooked to order for guaranteed freshness. This location also offers ten percent off for FGCU students. Employees are always nice and provide excellent customer service. In the lobby, there are social distance markers and hand sanitizer stations placed around the restaurant. Employees taking orders at cash registers sanitize their hands after handling orders with cash. In the drive thru, the restaurant now uses numbered sticky notes to label cars before they receive their orders. In my opinion this is good way to decrease the number of germs passed from customers to employees. This restaurant truly cares about its patrons and serving delicious food from burgers, salads, and frozen custard. I would highly recommend this location! read more

This was our first visit to Culver's since they are popping up all over the area and it will be our last visit to one. It is a fast food type joint except your food is delivered to your table. They have a pretty extensive menu so we tried a Mushroom Swiss burger, fried chicken, and a Reuben. The burger tasted fine but boy was it small. There were 2 patties on there equivalent to a McDonald's Big Mac. The fried chicken was sad and difficult to eat. The meat was dry (as in sitting under a heat lamp for hours) and the difference between a 4 piece and 2 piece dinner was 2 chicken wings. I opted for the mash potatoes and cole slaw and neither were not very good. The Reuben was lacking in meat as well. There were 4 of us in our group and all of us left feeling unsatisfied. The only good thing is that they have very nice decor inside so the atmosphere was nice. Eat someplace else, you will get more bang for your buck. read more

Decided to try this new spot today. When we walked in we were greeted immediately by the cashiers. I had a crispy chicken sandwich and onion rings and my friend had a double deluxe burger with onion rings. Both items were delivered to our table quickly and were hot and tasty. Several times duing the meal we were asked if everything was ok and if there was anything else they could get for us. I'd definitely return. read more

We love the hamburgers and have eaten at several Culver's. They are always fresh, cooked well and the butter buns are great. But at this certain Culver's I was told I would have to pay an extra .30 cents for a slice of tomato for my hamburger. Why in the world wouldn't you just add it to the price . Very unprofessional, go buy a box of tomatoes at farmers market and serve a tomato slice added with the other condiments. What next .25 cents for a pickle slice. I am so upset right now. Just bought 2 sundaes at the drive through a presented a coupon. The girl stared at the screen for a minuted because she did not know what to do. Asked the other little girl turned back to her computer. She then provided me with my change which did not include the coupon. When I asked her she said, "uh uh the coupon was no expired". I returned home to look at the coupon page it came from and the expiration date was 3/15/2015. It is absolutely ridiculous that #1 she was completely inept at running a register and being able to enter in a coupon, #2 tried to pass it off and not evening saying a work to me, #3 lied to my face! Is this the type of service customers get when they visit Culvers? I am so dissapointed and will post this review as many places as I can. PS.
