Culver's is my guilty pleasure! Since the beginning of the year I have been watching my calories and trying to eat right...but when someone suggests Culver's for lunch...I buckle like a park bench with a volks wagon on it (don't ask!). Culver's is that place you go when you have no regard for calories or your health.. but it is so good. I always get the double butter burger basket with fries and a Culver's root beer! Then I have to follow it up with a cement mixer, usually reese peanut butter cups, but sometimes I mix it up (pun intended). I will say the Culver's in Island Lake is clean, the folks are really nice, and the food is always hot and done well. If you aren't on a diet (or cheating on one) and you are looking for a delicious but decedent lunch or dinner option, Culver's is your place. read more

My drive thru order is incorrect more often than not. Must repeat my order 2-3 times even if I want to grab an extra thing at the window. I think the window person is being given too much to do. One can only do so much multi-tasking especially teens. Inside there have been errors too but not as often. Nice employees but it's not to give a higher score. read more

So the food when it's made right is good. The problem is the young kids running the show. 3 times now I've ordered a salad with the cashews on the side, and they keep putting the chicken in a box on the side also! It then is ruined because it's hot and the box is plastic. So I get melted paper along with my chicken. I've asked them not to do that but it still happens. Plus I never have the right order! Always missing one thing. It's very frustrating and for the amount of money they charge you'd think they would at least get the right food in the bag. read more

This Culver's location, out of all the ones I have been to, is my favorite. The food is always perfect (and I usually customize my order) and the front line employees and managers are amazing with a smile always on their face and wanting to help. It is one of the smaller Culver's properties on the inside, but they have wifi and a variety of tables... even some tall ones to give it a juice bar kind of feeling. You really get an honest feeling at this place that the employees are happy to work there and are happy to provide service. read more
