I have been a patron of Culver's for years. I lived in Indiana most of my life and was missing this wonderful place when I moved to Florida. I'm happy to say we now have one in Middleburg area of Jacksonville and I frequently visit. The customer service here is spot on, you cannot get better service! My favorite menu item are the french fries, yes you heard me right, the fries! You see, I'm a fan of crinkle fries, which seem to be a lot less popular at most fast food places. Culver's fries are always hot, perfectly salted, golden brown, crispy and satisfying! My other menu favorites are the regular butter burger with cheese and the North Atlantic cod sandwich. The fish sandwich is on the smaller side but the fish is delightfully moist and tender. It's a perfect portion for me and it's my go to choice. Of course you cannot go wrong with frozen custard, I particularly enjoy the turtle sundae, omg smooth, creamy, sweet, and those crunchy pecans. Whatever your fancy, I'm sure you'll find something here for everyone, they even have pot roast, which I've had and it's good! Culvers was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. Yet, our orders came out very quick (drive thru.) We ordered the Cheese Curds, Deluxe Burger with Bacon and a North Atlantic Cod sandwich. Both were upgraded to combos. However, she did not ask what drinks we would like and brought us out Pepsi. Yet, the Pepsi was not very good (not enough syrup/ tasted like watered down Diet Pepsi to be honest.) I originally wanted the Cod platter like I had at another location, but I did not see it on the menu. Added a side of cheese sauce for the fries. In the small amount of time it took to receive our order, the food came out very fresh and hot. So that is a huge plus. When we arrived, there were 6 cars in line ahead of us, but by the time I rounded the corner, they had already been served and gone. She put a number on our side mirror and the drinks were brought out immediately. The food took another 5 minutes tops. We both enjoyed our meals and the size of the fish filet was pretty nice. Made it all the way back out of OP and the food was still hot. The outside area was pretty full of dine in customers and the parking lot was pretty busy. The Middleburg Restaurant on Blanding Blvd is always freakin busy as hell! I never pass by them except when they're closed that their drive thru is around the building into the parking lot. I have my favorites there. The North Atlantic Cod dinner or sandwich is absolutely second to none. You get tasty thick pieces of fish and their crinkle cut fries are always hot and crisp and their coleslaw is great too! You must try their Butter Burgers. It's worth the short wait in their drive thru but there's usually ample space inside. The dining room is comfortable and homey. We prefer to dine inside. The staff is always welcoming, smiling and helpful. The food is great and usually abundant. We always have to get doggy bags because they don't skimp on quantity or quality for that matter! Their very accommodating and have the perfect size containers to take home what you can't eat inside. The dining room is fastidiously cleaned routinely and oh if it matters? The restrooms are clean and smell fresh usually. We never have to wait too long inside or out so when we think "Let's Eat Out Today" We usually go here because their menu is diverse enough to make sure that you can't get tired of the same old thing much. Usually I look for crowded places to mentally accept a restaurant as a good place. I'm also always in a freakin rush so I pass by some if I think I'm going to be detained forever. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. Possibly the worlds slowest fast food. All we ordered were 3 small ice creams for the kids. Noticed that the 5 cars behind me got served before we did. I Literally had to flag down the outdoor server to ask what's going on? She went in and got the order as if it was sitting there for 15mins. No apology for the long wait just started handing me the order. Noticed the ice creams were basically soup when we drove off. Went on a quick food run and have always heard of Culver's I decided to give it a try. My wife and I both ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and made them both a meal just for us two cost $20+ which is a little ridiculous for food I could get at a lower price and better quality and most places that sell chicken sandwiches. Overall the chicken was dry the fries were great but the sandwich was a let down especially for the price might give it a try in the future and maybe I'll sit down inside to see if there is a difference. read more

I've had the opportunity to eat here twice. The fried cheese is okay, just like fried mozzarella cheese sticks, not bad. The burgers are just okay. I have to honestly say nothing to really brag about. I haven't had an opportunity to try to frozen custard. The 2 times I visited the establishment I went through the drive-thru. Our wait time was about average on both visits, not long at all. I've experienced good customer service. I mean overall it's just a burger spot to me. Prices are reasonable to other burger spots. OK there's another multi shop hamburger joint and Orange Park well closer to Middleburg but it's good. There are malt was a little too sweet But good their burger was delicious I kind of compare it to an In-N-Out Burger not quite that good but has a strong resemblance of that I like the way you order at like the information that the cashier gave us about the food there or take out options of ice cream and treats in the frozen case behind you while you're in line to order your food. Absolutely horrible and unorganized. Expected it to be busy due to it being new. However, we started seeing tables that ordered after us getting their orders. Associates circling the floor handing out free samples to only certain people. Passing by us twice and not asking if we'd like one. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we requested a refund. Sophie whose nametags labelled her as "owner" was a smartass and rude and acted as though we were lying about our wait. Wanted us to provide verification on what we ordered, BUT THEY DONT GIVE YOU A DAMN RECEIPT UNTIL THEY BRING YOU YOUR FOOD. So Kyah verified what number we just turned in, poor girl having to be in the middle of this. Sophie did absolutely nothing to try and turn this around except half assedly saying I'm sorry you had a terrible experience (in a rude fucking tone). Sophie also informed us that they "lost some tickets". So that explains why we never got any food. Unorganized and rude. Alright Middleburg we can now say there's something special about living in the country. Yeah, we have the 1st Culvers around these parts. Well me and the hubby along with my brother decided to try them out. Its been along time since I (up North in Wisconsin) had Culvers. Its opening day and Boy this place is crowded. You guys should see the drive thru unbelievable. The restaurant inside and out is beautiful. They have a patio outside dining and the inside is spacious. The line inside was long but it went by fast. I ordered a turtle milkshake. It was thick and tasted ok. The flavor just wasn't there something was missing. Maybe it didn't knock my socks off because their just opening. I didn't order an entree because I was full from lunch. My hubby ordered the Reuben sandwich and a side salad. It came out hot, it looked good and the salad was a nice size. My hubby loved it and of course it was enough to get him full. My brother had the onion rings and chicken sandwich. I tried the onion rings they were ok a lil greasey would've been better with some type of seasoning on them. My brother loved the chicken sandwich. They both raved about the bread and bun thumbs up. I gave them a 4 because I was expecting the milkshake and rings to knock me over. Oh well maybe next time. I'll let you guys.know the outcome. But don't take my word for it SIKE. We made the drive out to the new location twice now, the first time opening week and you couldn't find a place to park, good sign! We went again Saturday, still busy but manageable. Very disappointed in the concrete. I ordered two Heath concretes and what I got was vanilla ice cream with a small sprinkle of Heath on the top. Finally stopped in to try it out and see if it was a new go to place for some grub. Unfortunately, it is not. Nothing was overwhelming bad, just mediocre food at a premium price. Service was above average for fast food or about the same as chic fil a or Freddy's Ordered two fish sandwich combos for $18. Both were piping hot, no drainage of oil though so it was way too greasy. It was a nice piece of fish, fresh bun, lettuce, sauce and shredded cheese. Somehow with all of those ingredients it tasted like nothing. Absolutely zero flavor from any ingredients. Grabbed some "tartar" and it was a weird, sweet, bits of carrot, sauce. Definitely not Tartar. Fries were fresh but again, standard Sysco or store brand frOzen fry taste. And that's it. I feel full'ish but don't feel satisfied like I ate a meal at all. Going to find something EXTREMELY tasty for dinner to make up for my lunch.. Zero value for food. read more

Moved in the area recently and this place popped up as a "hot & new" restaurant, and they do not fall short of the title! I ordered a bacon deluxe single meal with cheese curds and loved it! The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh they still had that crunch to it that fresh produce has! Burger wasn't greasy, and presentation was great. Mimicked the display pictures inside the restaurant. Staff was well organized during my visit. All seem to maintain a high standard of uniform appearance. Loved the decor of the exterior/ interior. Their Food and Services are fast, hot and great. However the only issue I have is with the fish batter it is just way to greasy for us. I love their fish sandwiches my only complaint with theirs is again to greasy. The flavor of the fish and the thickness of it is great I just have to take off the batter and then eat the fish. read more
