We ordered dinner tonight at the Culver's in Racine. We keep doing it because we do like their food. But every time we do, our orders are always wrong or missing food that we ordered. We do try to call in and ask them why they didn't put the items in our bags and they hang up on us. We would call about 6 to 7 times and each time we get hung up on. This is not how a restaurant of any kind should be run. I would tell off the manager as pissed as we are tonight but it isn't worth our time. This Culver's is now boycotted with the horrible service we have been getting. If you are thinking about eating here, DON'T!! Find another place to eat. I did a drive thru order. I was really looking forward to a fresh double burger, I don't do this often. I figured I'd have to pull up to wait for my freshly made order, that was fine, that's what I wanted a fresh burger! When I got to the pickup window I was surprised, I was told "Here you go! This just came up for you!" I tried an onion ring, it was great, crispy, crunchy and hot. I only live about 2 miles from Culver's, so imagine my disappointment when I got home and opened up the burger and took a bite of a cold double burger. Definitely not freshly made but so cold that the burgers weren't even luke-warm and the bun was cold to the touch on the bottom, as if stored in a fridge I guess. The drive home certainly did not cause a hot fresh sandwich to lose its chill like this one. This restaurant was unbelievable how good the cheese curds were phenomenal although at dinner time the drive through gets packed and before they added the second lane piled out into the street sometimes but ever since they added that great service, good food, and just a chill place to go with you family. read more

This was the 1st time trying Culver's in Wisconsin. The people were so friendly at the cashier counter. Met the owner too. He was extremely nice. The food and ice cream were great. We live in Texas. So will have to try back home. I would definitely recommend it. read more

Tonight, I had the walleye dinner and it was excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly. For one of my sides, I ordered a salad which came nice and fresh, no wilted or past its prime lettuce. We also ordered a cashew salad which was fresh as well. We ordered all this in the drive thru and also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a lot of added extras and two customized concrete mixers and they got that correct as well. read more

Clearly this is Culver's Country. And, this location is always consistent. Whenever we are in town to film Pautzke Outdoors with Kyle Deavers of Big Boy Fishing we drop by here for lunch. We've always had good service, orders consistently come out exactly how we placed them and the staff dishes out smiles and respect to customers. There's a pile of chain restaurants in this area, but the fast food here is a step up from Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, etc. Culver's is the same price - with better quality than the others. Most often I order the Wisconsin Melt and of course you gotta go with the double patty option. Be prepared for a little bit grease, but I think that's the reason it tastes so good. Another thing to consider is if you want to cut a few calories (since you had that greasy massive burger) then grab a soup instead of those fries.They always have several soups on the menu and it's only a small upcharge. I've tried the Tomato Florentine, Chicken Noodle, Vegetable and the Chili. We also ordered a Double Mushroom Swiss Burger and it blew anything you find inside McDonald's and I mean blew away. Big Boy eats - and enjoys - everything we've tried here. Having been to several dozen of their locations nationwide I can't say I've ever been disappointed in the fast food experience. Took my granddaughter for dinner, her choice. Not many people dining in but a steady stream of cars through the drive through. By actual count there were 15 people working around the front of the store. Most seemed to be taking orders out to waiting cars. Add in the kitchen staff and a few other there must have been 2 dozen people working. With all those people hanging around in the order area it was quite noisy and hard to hear. Somehow they managed to slightly mess up my wife's order. My burger was a bit over cooked and was dry and crusty around the edges. At least the fries were hot. I have gone to Culver's for years. My usual location was in Oak Creek, WI. Since I moved my family to Racine, I've gone to the one on 21st Street off of Hwy 31. I've been disappointed more times in 2 yrs at this Racine location than the 12 years from the one in Oak Creek. Tonight I decided to post this because of the latest screw-up. I posted a picture of a pot roast dinner I ordered that didn't have enough meat to cover half of the bread. I also order family fries and realized after leaving the drive through they left it off the order. Learned this is not the same franchisee as the one that operates in Oak Creek. For my past three visits This location has been extremely busy. I have noticed that the concrete mixers are not as good as before they seem to be missing something. During the pandemic I was a regular as there were not many places open. As of late, I have ordered 6 butter burger deluxe at different times and each time my burger was still pink in the middle and I couldn't finish it. I cannot enjoy a burger that is not cooked well. I am discouraged from eating at this location. It would be nice if they seasoned the burgers with salt for flavor as opposed to dropping the meat on the grill as is. Lastly, Sam's Club berry and brownie sundaes are rivaling Culver's in taste and price. Sam's Club Sundaes are a nice size and only cost $1.58 or $1.00 if you get it plain. So Saturday I went to Culver's. It was nuts, they were completely slammed. My order was carry-out, and I waited 15 minutes or so. Culver's is a midwest staple in my book it always deserves a visit when I am in town. My favorite order is the kids meal chicken fingers with french fries, every kids meal come with a free ice cream coupon so you are able to finish off your meal with a yummy dessert! They are most well known for their butter burgers and their custard. They have a new "flavor of the day" in custard every single which keeps things interesting and this can vary depending on location. My classic custard order is the plain vanilla with warm caramel on top! I highly recommend! They are always relatively quick and reliable, we often use this as an easy stop for a road trip! AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger. Bacon wasn't cooked. Took it back and just ordered a regular Cheeseburger without bacon. There is a price difference in the burgers. Culver's is one of my favorite places for lunch. However, today when I went through the drive thru I was utterly disappointed with my experience. Not only did I wait in a 10 minutes line I received my order and it was incorrect. This is not the first time this had occurred. Well I know I could have gone back and asked them to fix it I didn't have anymore time seeing how long it took to get me it in the first place. I've lived in Wisconsin for just over a year now and I JUST went to Culver's for the first time... how silly of me. Great fast food and super friendly staff. Culver's obviously has some yummy butter burgers and great crispy cheese curds, but you'll come back again and again for their frozen custard. I loved all the toppings and combinations you can make, plus the flavor of the day adds a lot of variety. During this quarantine it's nice that they're still open, but wow it's like going to the Soup NAZI because so many people like it. The last stop on my Weekend of Self Destruction took me to Culver's in Racine Wisconsin. I love Culver's. The burgers are always made with fresh ingredients and the Custard is tasty. I have never had a bad experience at any of their locations. On this visit, I ordered Double Bacon Burger basket, and Carolynne r. and I shared a basket of Onion rings. At one time Culver's was my favorite fast food restaurant, but now I struggle to even ate a burger there. A few months back, my wife and I went there, and I decided I would try one of the dinners, MISTAKE. I had the Beef Pot Roast Dinner, it was soooo salty I got sick off of it. I went home to look up the Nutrition Facts and this one smallish meal had 1710gm!!!!!!!!!!!! That's almost as much as a grown person suppose to have in a attire day! 2,000-2,5000 is what is recommended daily! I was so pissed I wrote them to complain, and I never heard from them, not surprising!. I finally went back this weekend, to have what use to be my favorite Sourdough Melt sandwich, not only was it tiny but it was sloppily prepared. I have gone to this specific Culver's since I was a kid. All Culver's are generally the same but this one is one of the cleanest well maintained ones. Bathrooms were clean, empty tables were cleaned right away, condiments counter was well stocked and clean as well. One thing I think they could've worked on on this trip was the customer service. The girl taking my order seemed undertrained and had to ask a manager about what I thought was a basic question. The food was very good as it usually is. read more

Amazing service by Anita, Brian, and Janet. They worked well as a team. Anita took my order and when I asked her if I could use the ten a cookie tokens I used, but upgrade my meal and pay the extra she did. Brian was right there to swipe his card for her. Brian is a manager and being that I have worked in food as well as clothing I really appreciated seeing him step up and help his workers. Janet was very kind to get my ice cream and ketchup even thought I totally forgot to ask for it when both Anita and Brian were interacting with me. Great job! It's refreshing to see this! read more

The best butterburger I've ever had was at this Culver's. It had the perfect amount of seasoned salt and butter. The staff is friendly. Most of the food is consistently good. The root beer is always good. My only qualm is that the custard sometimes needs to be mixed more. You might experience ice chunks in your custard. Culvers is one of those places where you find yourself going when you are in a hurry. The food is good by fast food standards, the custard is OK, not great, and the atmosphere is almost always screaming kids. It beats the big chains, hands down, but there are many better local spots. read more

I've always had good service at Culver's so I am glad they continue to keep that! Earlier post: Watch your change (or lack of). Went there last Sunday feeling under the weather thinking a shake might help. The cashier was distracted & complaining to another about something. Gave her a $20 & the coin change. I admit I was also distracted because I wasn't feeling my best. Got home & realized I never got change. Called & they said they would have to review the drawers which is understandable & would call me the next day. They NEVER called! I believe the cashier pocketed the money & the drawer checked out.
