Stopped in for a quick lunch while running errands. My wife and I had coupons for $1 off which we received in the mail. We came in, also, because we had a keytag we purchased off our next door neighbor to help the high school sports programs. Nothing like a coupon to motivate us to try a restaurant just down the street from our house. ;) The service was fantastic! Here, you order at a counter then sit down where they bring the food to your table. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. As we asked questions, they asked if they didn't know the answer. They seemed to work very well as a team. The food was OK, but tasty. A little greasy, but to be expected for fried fish, in my case. The fries were good and hot, and the cheese curd was decent for fast food. Nothing like the pub cheese in Wisconsin, but not bad as a side to my fish sandwich. I would, however, recommend a dinner over a sandwich in the case of their fish. For dessert, we each had a different Sundae, and this is where Culvers shines. They use a wonderfully delicious custard, and use standard but ample toppings. The servers are also very helpful in creating just the mix of items you want. They also have varying 'Flavor of the Day', so it's fun to stop in more often for variety, especially as the weather gets warmer. This is the second Culver's location I've visited as well as my second/third experience dining at a Culver's restaurant. The staff here are very friendly and offer great customer service. There are plenty of clean tables to sit at when dining inside, which is always nice. The food, on the other hand, was on the bland side both times (on different days) we visited here. Culver's I love you! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, great prices, and great interior design await you at this Culver's location in Rosemont. When I came here in February, I was glad to purchase two burgers and a milkshake, all because of the hell I went through to get here-getting off the Blue Line at its O'Hare terminus to catch, but find, Pace bus 250 which stops by here. Why oh why did O'Hare put Pace buses on the other side of its elephantine territory from the Blue Line? I love Culver's and I love this location, and I'm definitely going to return. I sure can't wait to go to the Steak n' Shake which is just a few doors south of this Culver's, and I have two coupons to utilize for that place next month. In either case, if I want to get to these two eateries, I'm catching the Pace 250 at the Davis Purple Line station where it ends and take it to Culver's & Steak n' Shake and back. For those who wish to avoid the O'Hare leaps n' bounds to catch the 250 to Culver's and Steak n' Shake, please follow the same route that I'm taking next month to eat at both restaurants on Mannheim in Rosemont. read more

Disappointing. One yelper mentioned Culver's was comparable to Shake Shack; being somewhat of an expert on burgers and a Shake Shack diehard, I decided to forego the healthy meal I'd planned and stop here for a burger. Big mistake. Huge. Cheese wasn't even melted, if there was butter on the buns I couldn't tell, and the patty was thin. I opted for soup with it, the broccoli cheddar tasted just like at Subway. I filled out an online survey for a free scoop of custard. It was good, but nowhere near the quality of Shake Shack. Thank goodness I head back to NY tomorrow! I just spent 45 minutes getting what was quite possibly the easiest order ever remade at Culver's in Rosemont Illinois. I ordered a veggie burger with nothing on it. What i got was a veggie patty, with no bun, with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, mayo and onions on it. Upon going back and telling them what i actually wanted, they told me that i had ordered it wrong, and told me to word it a different way, rather than say "wow we're sorry we gave you the exact opposite of what you ordered". They said they would give me new fries (cuz you know, the ones i originally ordered were now cold as they had been sitting out for 45 minutes) and there were no new fries. This was all handled by someone who claimed to be the District Manager, and not a single time was I apologized to, Culver's is a shitty company that doesn't give a damn about their customer service. read more

Wow, we were looking forward to our yearly walleye dinner. Clean inside, most staff were pleasant, except for our order taker. Not friendly, looked bored to be there. We ordered our walleye dinners to go, then added on an order of onion rings. Received our number and waited. We checked our order out in the car and no onion rings. Went inside to explain. They asked for our receipt but it either blew away or didn't get one. Remade our order of rings and we left. Got home, were we disappointed, in years past, I could hardly finish. This year walleye pieces were so much smaller than last year, the roll was even smaller, didn't care about the roll-but the fish?? Needless to say last time at this Culvers. I really like Culver's. Cheese curds, burgers, pot roast, fries, and shakes. What's not to like? Well this location may have answered that. Had this been my only and first visit to a Culver's, I would probably never go back to any location ever again. I ordered a small raspberry smoothie and a pot roast sandwich with a side of gravy. Problem one, they charged me for the gravy and they charged me DOUBLE. I didn't notice this until I sat down. When I asked the guy, who I got charged and for 2 sides, when I only asked for one, he gave me some line about it being an additional up charge for a 2 oz side of gravy. Are you kidding me?? Problem two, the sandwich had half the meat as any sandwich I have ever had from any Culver's. Now, the charge for the gravy isn't a big deal, price wise. It's the principle of the matter. I have never, ever been charged for a small side of gravy and half the time, its been offered to me before I have to ask. Then to charge me double and give me some line about it being the price of the gravy, what a crock. I will continue to go to Culver's but thankfully I am not in this area a lot but when I am, I will avoid this location at all costs. read more

Culver's is one of my many guilty pleasures. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. The meat ratio to the bread was perfect. It was filled with onions and ooey-gooey melted cheese making for the perfect amalgamation. The meat was very tender and incredibly flavorful. I didn't have any expectations. I thought it would be worthy of three stars, but it was a pleasant, delicious and unexpected surprise! I rate the prime rib sandwich with 4-stars. The price-point and quality of the prime rib itself, 5-stars. There was no fat or grizzle and it was melt-in-your mouth super tender. The service was fast and hospitable and is also worthy of 4-stars. I had an appointment at Abbott Molecular on 20-Jun-2014, and noticed a number of restaurants across the street from Abbott. I saw Steak N Shake, Buona Beef, an Italian bistro restaurant and so many other restaurants. Since I was in the Rosemont - DePlaines area, I stopped in at Culver's, because I've never seen one in the city. I am glad I had the prime-rib sandwich. It was satisfying and filling. The bread roll was fresh, chubby and fluffy. My only complaint is that they do not have a Culver's any where in the City of Chicago, and I wish they would plant one in the city. Anywhere. Pretty, pretty please! This Culver's is a nice size, with large glass windows and ample free parking. The restaurant is bright, clean and well stocked. I love that you order, pay, are given a number (to put on your table) and they bring your order to the table. It is nice not to stand and wait for your order. This kind of customer service receives 5-stars. Maybe the other fast-food franchise restaurants should take note of how it is done. I did not have their frozen custard. I know it is loaded with sugar, fat and high calories. I wish they offered "no sugar" frozen custard though. We were visiting and I recall eating Culver's in Wisconsin Dells three years ago. Since then, I have enhanced my clean eating diet to about 98% clean/95% of the time. I don't eat processed, no "typical" fast food places. When my son and I travel, eating is difficult because our systems rejects the fake food fast with headaches, nausea, diarrhea, overall bad feeling. I can't risk getting sick while traveling, so we review menus/ingredients and make the best/safest choice. This was a good choice for us. I know the burgers are good but we don't st bread anymore and a patty alone is not filing. We got the cod platter with fries and Cole slaw. Food was hot, fresh, and tasty. They even had real sweet tea (brewed and not a syrup concentrate..I ask). They also.had real butter obviously, which is a plus because again, we don't eat margarine. After eating at a "new" place, I wait for the aftermath. Everything was good...no headache, no upset stomach, nothing but a full feeling. I'm only giving 4stars because the sweet tea had been sitting a while because I can tell from the taste. Being from the south, we know when tea gets old. It was still drinkable. Not a biggie and I didn't complain because it was near closing time and no need to brew a fresh batch. I understood. Will be back and visit other locations when traveling. read more

Came here Tuesday the 24th, closing shift. The woman taking my order didn't seem happy to be doing so and had an annoyed tone throughout the order. I also heard other employees very loudly talking and laughing in the background the whole order. When I pulled up to the window to pay she greeted me with a dirty look and another rude tone asking for payment. This is a fast food chain and expectations are generally pretty low but quality of food is usually pretty consistent, the food was great that wasn't the problem. The problem was that the employees seemed to think that just because the restaurant was about to close they didn't have to provide a high quality of service still. This should be the opposite. It's not about how you start, but how you finish. Food was and always is great. Service needs to be reviewed by management. read more
