Another lunch suggestion from my Wing Man Gary (Why do I call him my Wing Man? Gary is USAF retired). We've both heard good things about Culver's burgers, so we had to try them. Plenty of handicap parking right outside the door. As soon as we entered we were greeted and told to sit anywhere. Culver's is a cut above your regular fast food restaurant. Yes, you order at the counter, but they give you a numbered marker and deliver the food to your table. FAST. I ordered the Make Your Own Butter Burger. Double patty, onions, pickles, lettuce, mustard, bacon ($1.50), mushrooms ($1.50), and Swiss cheese. It's the same as the mushroom burger with bacon added, but if you add it all up, it's slightly less expensive to build your own. Add medium fries and a medium soft drink, total was $15.50. The burger was tasty, above and beyond what you would get at a nationwide fast food place. You know you have a packed burger when The toasted bun can't contain all the ingredients. The fries were perfect: nicely browned, crisp, and lightly salted. Pretty good meal for the price. read more

Friendly staff (consistently) on every visit! Butter burgers are always fresh, meaty, and delicious. Better than the drive-thru typical fast food restaurants and often Culver's is cheaper than those. First off, I don't rate this place only 4 stars, I rate it 4.34 stars. I mean it wasn't anything special compared to other Culver's but I just love Culver's. The burgers are large and the custard is creamy. I think the best thing you can get is the kids' meal here. You get a regular sized burger, fries, a drink and a custard all for only about $7. Plus, you get a treat token that will get you another meal after collecting 10 of them. Also, you can add cheese curds instead of fries for just another $3. Culver's is one of those restaurants that you just can't stop going to. When I first went to culver's I ordered a double butter burger with cheese, I also ordered a side of cheese curds and a custard. This was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. Food was always great, but the layout of the lobby and failure to clarify if there are multiple lines or a single line with 1st come 1st served is horribly frustrating. I almost got into a fight with someone that cut in front of me, but ultimately it was the fault of the business not having any organization on how the ordering line(s) are set up and identified so people know what to do, and where to go to get in line. We come here often and for the most part they always get it right. Just the last time we ordered to-go and two of our three burgers were raw inside still. So much so I had to microwave them to cook them thoroughly. Staff is always upbeat and nice. We'll be back as long as we don't continue to run into burgers like that. read more

So I tried out Culver's before (takeout) and they completely messed up my order (should've checked contents before I got home), anyways I contacted Culver's about messed up order and they apologized and sent me a value basket coupon and when I got the coupon I put it in the back of my office desk drawer (had no intention to use it and get bad service again), fast foward about 3 months later (I was cleaning out the office desk) and saw the coupon and decided to give them one more try (and I'm glad I did) and ordered the fish dinner, WoW ;-D the best fish dinner ever!!! everything was on point-the fish was meaty and flaky (perfect breading) and crisp on the outside, the fries and cole slaw were(yummy) a perfect compliment. Really good fast food. Being from CA, we have never had Culver's before. But after seeing good things, we had to stop by while in St. Pete. We ordered a cheese curd with a side of caramel (which is so good!), a salted caramel malt and a cookie dough concrete. Everything was delicious. I will say though, we pulled up to the window to pay, the person at the window never helped us and we were waiting there for probably 3-4 mins (there was a lot of people in line). I had my window down and my arm out of the window and was never helped. So I pulled forward because we saw people waiting in the line after stopping at the window, so I thought maybe you didn't pay at the window and someone came to our window for you to pay. Well I was wrong and my husband had to get out of the car and go inside to pay. If you are working a drive thru window, you probably should stay aware to those waiting to pay. read more

First time trying it and the best part is the service! They bring your food to your table - and they were so friendly! Food was decent, I liked my cheese curds - the cheese dipping sauce chills quickly and got kinda meh. Their root beer is deliciousssss. Burgers were good - not as buttery was I expected. Kinda salty? I have eaten at Culvers since they started since they started near my home town of Baraboo. sometimes 3+ times a week. However if you have a problem with a restaurant don't expect them to fix it. it has happened more than once and all they will tell you is they are checking into it. I did a drive through order and when we opened it up it was completely messed up. no time to turn around to fix it and too far by the time we found out. No resolve at all. This is by far our favorite fast food chain. Burgers are always so juicy, fresh, and the best cheese curds always made to order. So much better than french fries! Great variety of frozen custard flavors too - much better than even going to a Baskin Robin's, for instance. Only disappointment about this location is that they got our order wrong several times. I would give this Culver's location a 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I grew up on Culver's in the Midwest and was ecstatic to see there was one in St. Pete's!!! Needless to say this location did not disappoint, the drive through worker was so so kind! The food was outstanding, as always. I'm a huge fan of the spicy crispy chicken sandwich, the butter burger is also a go-to. Don't even get me started on the custard, I always get chocolate with cheesecake pieces (REAL cheesecake -I would highly recommend if you like cheesecake) I came to this establishment with a headache and after the first sip of my Culver's root beer the headache miraculously disappeared. I'm from Wisconsin and love Culver's but this location has really slumped in customer service. On my last visit I stood waiting to have my order taken for 10 minutes with no other customers in line. Everyone seemed to notice me except the one person who seemed to think it was more important to prep to go bags than take orders. Rather than be rude I left and tried the drive thru to which they were great and asked if I had already ordered cause they recognized me from inside. After hearing from people how great this was we decided to see for ourselves. Seeing that the virus caused take out only (drive through) it still didn't stop us. We've been there twice so far and have been completely underwhelmed. The french fries needed more cooking both times. The order was incorrect one time and both times they seemed to have a problem stacking the meat on a double without half of it falling off.
