Cupbop was a new delicious experience for me. The team members were fast and friendly. I did visit towards the end of the night so I do want to go back early in the day and try the food once again. I chose a 2 meat combo with a number 10 sauce. They explained the differences in the sauce numbering system, which is why I went with 10. I could have gone for a 15 if it existed but the 10 was very tasty and if you are pepper-head like me; it'll be no problem. The lobby was clean and there were customers enjoying the meals during my visit. As I left the young man behind the counter said "drive safe" which I thought was very thoughtful. At that young age, most employees don't even look you in the eyes. That hospitality score big points with me. You probably don't even realize it young man, but you just won my over on a return visit for going there. So for now I am giving them a 4 with a chance at a 5 once I try more menu items. The first time I ordered at this location - was good. Excellent customer service and the food was delicious. I ordered the pot sticker bowl and the bulgogi bowl. I have returned a handful of times- the consistency of the quality of food has changed - more so the proportions of the rice, cabbage and noodles. The inconsistency of the liquid (choice of sauces) poured on the bowls - most of the time the staff member just squeezed excess all over...like having your whole bowl doused in sauce - not okay. The last time I ordered - both staff members left me at the counter with no food. My bag of food was sitting on the lower counter and neither of them handed me my bag of food. They both just walked off. I stood there looking at them - if I could have reached over and grabbed my food - I would have but I physically couldn't. Kept seeing this on my Instagram actually Headed out to try it tonight. It's basically an 'Asian bowl' kind of place- rice/noodles and pick your protein and sauce. This is a Korean flavored venue. I got the Rock Bop with the CupBop spice sauce (trio of sriracha, spicy Mayo, teriyaki). The chicken was crunchy and overall really tasty! The glass noodles were cut pretty short so a little difficult to eat with chopsticks but you slurp enough and it'll work itself out. I also got the coconut milki drink. Yum. While this location is a bit off my path I'm glad I came and if folks were in the area for movies or other reasons I'd give it a try! Interior has seating but not a ton. Delicious cups of food and staff are always friendly! This was our second time in and hasn't disappointed. We ordered 2 Mandoo Bops and one 2 meat bop with rock and ugly chicken. HIGHLY recommend either chicken, if you like your chicken saucy get the rock chicken, but if you're more of a plain fried chicken person get the ugly chicken, regardless both traste great! If you don't want your potstickers to get soggy I'd recommend asking for them on the side. The only thing is we did ask for our bowls to be "sloppy" which means they add extra sauce and they didn't make them sloppy, but I'm glad I asked for a side of sauce. I have to say, this was phenomenally delicious. It's a very basic concept, but holy cow, these guys have unique blends of tastes and high-quality food down to a science! The sauces were so good! Hi, giving this place a two star and I feel I'm being nice cause the food is really good. It is such a shame though, I had it once and never again. Multiple times I went the door was locked with employees there around 6-7 pm. It wasn't late, as I'm in serving industry I understand that and try not to come right before they close but that was odd. It happened to me three more times and I got annoyed and haven't been back for over 6 months. Again I go today, and they closed early at 5 because of staff reasoning. I feel bad but seems like they need to do a lot. It's a shame I live so close and have only had this place once but been there 5-10 times with no service every time. Sorry excuse for anything close to being Korean (sorry if this is your first time trying anything close to korean food, this most certainly is the bottom of the barrel). first of all, the food was absolutely bland. They rely on sauce to put even a remotely resemblance to flavor. Everything is mismanaged and the spice levels aren't even labeled with what sauce you are going to get. WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO DAIRY? They put spicy mayo on a korean dish??? My friend got some nasty lime mayo sauce on her bowl and wasn't even asked if that was okay. Second of all, the service was absolutely the worst. Maybe the workers could flirt with each other AFTER the customer has been served. An annoying boy and girl could not stop bantering with each other while he was trying to train her. They also lacked any social skills because we are annoyed and simply just wanted our food but they took 15 minutes for something that is already cooked. I don't anticipate this place lasting more than a year and I actual hope that they run out of business because this is a joke. read more

I have wanted to like this place but the 4 times I have come they are either out of something. Vegetables, spicy Mayo or now the sauce level can only be 5. What kept me coming back was the friendly service ...until today. Avoid at all cost because you will be disappointed for the overall cost. I had to repeat my order 10 times and I was still looked at like I was stupid. He then put about 10 noodles in my bowl that was over full of rice. No real ratio and he dumped whatever sauce he wanted. I wanted to like this place but maybe the owner should work the training and inventory ordering out. Wow. Where do I start. Ok let me start by saying I lived in Korea for some time and very familiar with their cuisine. To start this off, I was not impressed by the way the menu was laid out. A little on the difficult side to understand what goes with what. After glancing over at the order from the customer in front I decided to just play it safe with all rice instead of noodles. Most places would add more rice since to make up for the lack of noodles. Not this place. I requested Korean bbq and was confused when they put what seemed to be Bulgogi. Which technically comes in a soup in the Korean culture. I ignored it and just decided to just add vegetables which they considered to be a Combo order. I'm guessing another way to sneak charges on to my order. To continue, I was asked what sauce and after asking a few questions regarding the endless mystery sauces, I received no valuable information aside from the level of spicy. I just took it and ran with it and paid no mind to it. When I arrived home I was not impressed with the Bulgogi lacking flavor overshadowed probably from the dryness of the meat. But as I continued to plow through, I arrived to what seems to be a Bulgogi meat ball(reference pictures) I started peeling away thin layers of meat and found the center uncooked. The workers are nice and fast! 3 stars because if you're looking for good korean food worth the price, it's not here. It was $30 for 2 bowls and we both didn't finish it. The meat is dry and just meh. It wasn't good nor worth almost $15 per bowl. We were excited for something different than a Jack in the Box, Burger King, or McDonalds to open up on our side of town and this place's food was a disappointment :/ It wasn't nasty it just tasted very bland and nothing like Korean food. Great taste and friendly staff! After the gym my wife and I spotted this place and stopped by and we are happy we did. The food was very flavorful and the options of spice level were great.
