The staff is friendly. The place is clean. I always order the chicken pad Thai. I come here frequently. It seems every other time (like tonight) they forget to put the sauce in it. It just bland dry noodles. It's extremely disappointing to get home and find out yet again they forgot to make it the right way! When they make it right it's delicious! I was excited to have a Thai chili 2 go closer to my home. But I think I am going to have to eat at the other locations to get the Mel made correctly! Sorry, but I have wasted a lot of money on wasted food. 5 times is my limit. I tried to give the staff time to learn the menu but I believe it's been long enough. They need quality control. I will only order from here if I eat in the restaurant so I can check the food to make sure it's made right. Dry white noodles with no flavor doesn't work for me! This was our first time trying Thai Chili 2 Go, and we were honestly blown away. We're from California, so we have high standards when it comes to Thai food -- and this place absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The restaurant was very clean, which we really appreciated, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, making our first visit easy and enjoyable. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot on, and the prices were very reasonable. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their space. Handed me the order with a big smile. Now the eating part.... Chicken nuggets, delicious. Perfectly crunchy, the best! Pad Thai, very good, just what we wanted. Green curry with shrimp, excellent. Huge portion, probably 3 servings over rice. I ordered medium spice, all I can handle. Veggies in it cooked to perfection, still a bit of a crunch. Shrimp fresh and tasty. Usually enjoy ordering from here. Last night was not good. Every dish was dry. No sauce at all. No flavor. My Tom Kha Gai Soup has a small amount of chicken, the coconut milk and a ton of broccoli. No cilantro, nor any other of the usual ingredients that typically come in this soup. There is no broccoli listed in the ingredients online and anytime I have gotten this soup from here or any other Thai restaurant, there is no broccoli. The place odds amazing! Huge portions and one of the staff let me know that there is no pork on the menu which is right up my alley because of my pork allergy so I had no worries. The food is about $15 a dish but you could easily split. If you were planning to split on a second visit, I would for example order, a curry dish with rice and then an added extra side of rice which would be plenty for 2 people. I might also order 2 different dishes and split both because otherwise 1 person would be eating a whole lot of the same items. The order took about 30 minutes to make and the location is in a strip mall type thing so parking can be chaotic and it's pretty much a carry out style. We picked up our food at approximately 3:45 it was ready, just sitting on the shelf behind the counter with a bunch of other orders. When we got home, a little before 4:00, all of the food was absolutely cold to a point of making the bottom of the food containers soft from absorbing moisture from the food. Everything had to be re-heated either on the stove or microwave. We absolutely know our food sat around for a long time before pick-up. There was a couple of times where we ordered from Kiosk in the store, ate our food, put the leftovers in the car, went to Sprouts (next door), and when we got home, the food was hotter than today. The trick is to order through the app, its flawless and you earn points for free food! I typically give you 5 stars. I got daring and ordered the Vegan dish with tofu. It's a great location and so is the set up. Many places to sit and is really clean. Tonight, the employee was able to help me use my credit and substitute my tomatoes for pineapple. The Staff said they would get the other half right out. We waited another 5 to 10 minutes. DON'T try their foundation soda. It was the worst soda I've ever tasted. Filter your water! Yucky! I went to the new Vineyard location in Queen Creek. First, I was happy to see there is a pretty big dining room unlike the other QC location. The cashier was beyond friendly! Food was really good. My only complaint would be price. It was $16 with tax for one person and you will not have leftovers as the portion is not that big. But, I am happy for some variety in this location! read more
