Well stocked glass case with assorted cookies and a freezer off to the left with pints and larger ice cream containers. Terrific to see that the cookies are produced and baked onsite as the open production area is viewable behind the main counter. I selected two each of the chocolate peanut butter and chocolate chip macadamia cookies. Back at home, these were deemed really fresh and tasty. After another long time cookie retail site closed in Wallingford, it's great to have Cookie Crave Creamery. Welcoming service, convenient business hours, and reasonably priced cookies, ice cream, and ice cream sandwich treats - an all around win-win!

I actually thought Dochi was a chain due to the decor, but apparently they only have two locations, one in the Uwajimaya food court, and another in Tukwila. They have all their mochi donut flavors tantalizingly displayed behind a glass case and then racks and racks of prebaked donuts ready to serve. While they don't display the butter mochi packs, they seem to have plenty hidden around the counter. Butter Mochi Variety Pack ($8) - The Food Walk price of $8 is actually the same as their normal pricing. The current variety pack comes with four different flavors - original, matcha, chocolate, and pumpkin spice. All are strongly flavored so there's no mistaking the ingredients. In each case, the butter mochi is sticky, chewy, and extremely bouncy. They aren't too sweet either, making them very easy to eat. The only downside - too much of the mini cupcake sized treats stick to the wrapper! Especially the original flavor, probably close to 1/5 of it gets stuck, so I had to scrape my teeth along the wrapper to try to get more out. Not fun! (5/5) Dochi is definitely a great stop for dessert! Next time, I'll have to give the mochi donuts a try and maybe some of the drinks.

Each dessert was elegantly packaged in glossy boxes with gold thread, then placed into a sturdy gift bag with a handle. Love is in the details at this place, my friends. Even though it was quite late when we got around to enjoying our treats, everything tasted fresh and delicious.
