Bartender was to busy taking selfies with her friends to tend to us new people. The security behind the bar checked our ID and then proceeded to ignore us and make other people drinks. It took a good 15 minutes to get a drink. Drinks were Strong as hell! They don't even have a soda wand. The soda for drinks is poured from iced 2 liters! Anywho.... This was a bar with a pretty great atmosphere. Bartender was a complete sweetheart. I'm very awkward at most bars, but she didn't make me feel out of place at all. The food was great, and it wasn't pricey! Went with some out of town friends and they loved it. I'll definitely be bringing my local friends here too! read more

Went after medeval times because it was the closest bar... not bad for a dive bar... they had cheap beer, tacos for $ 3 bucks, and a dj ... tacos are expensive but when I'm drinking ill pay anything for tacos!! All in all good bar if your in the area read more

Went here yesterday, found it through yelp. Had time to kill before dinner at Portillos and we found this awesome bar. the bartender monet?! was awesome, made me some strong drinks for $2.50. Found a 3 by 2 inch shard of glass at the bottom of my beer. We met other frequent patrons that assured us it was a piece of ice because they chill the glasses here. I was almost down to the bottom of my beer and realized the "ice" was still at the bottom of my glass. Scared of swallowing residual glass. We went to Pirates which was just up the street and stopped at Cups for a drink. It was just what we wanted, good beer, great atmosphere and no need to get dressed up. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to chill out. read more

Horrible. I had high expectations for this place because of the great reviews. Little did I know, we waited forever just to order. I wouldn't have minded if it were poppin. But considering we were the new clientele in bar of 8 people, all of whom have drinks already, you'd think it'd be easier to get the bartender's attention. Neeeeooppe! Completely ignored. Good place to play some free pool and drink a cheap beer..Used to go here sundays to play pool with some friends.. haven't been here in awhile though.. they used to have karaoke idk if they still do.. food selection is limited but they do sell a few items.. Crowd is mixed from older people to people who just turned 21.. there are 3 pool tables to play on and lots of tvs to watch sports.. there is also a few dart boards and a jukebox/ipod type player.. cops like to hang around since it is near the main part of buena park so all u drunkies be forewarned.. there is a dance floor but people don't usually dance here. read more

I've been on a dive bar kick, ever since I've found out that drinks cost half or a third than at regular bars. This was a good halfway spot to meet a friend for a few drinks on a week night. At first, I was a little scared to go in by myself since there were some shady looking people out front smoking. However, I figured that I was fairly safe since it was OC and not Compton. There's a few pool tables, a bar area with seating, and some tables towards the back. Music is rather loud. Drinks are cheap - mine was $5! Never had to wait long to get a drink, either, as there were two female bartenders, including a Korean one, which I wouldn't expect in such a place. It also smells like cigarettes, though I don't think they allow smoking inside. Bathrooms were clean. Not the best clientele, but it's a good watering hole spot. read more

We always have a great time here. Sometimes too good. We usually go after work. Its not crowded and and everyone is always so friendly. The bartenders are great and can make a pretty good bloody mary. The weekends are much busier and have a younger crowd. This is a great dive bar. read more
