It's true what previous reviews say, the employees walk right past you and don't offer any help. I was exchanging a computer cause it wasn't working and they couldn't find the key to the cabinet and the guy says that sometimes the employees take home the keys and they can't do anything about it. The real problem with the store is extremely poor store management. The store manager should be fired because it's apparent he or she isn't able to manager properly. I will never return to that store or any of them. Where to begin..? So a buddy and I got concert tickets and this was supposedly the only place we could pick them up. A trip to Lynwood....yay. In order to park by the store, you have to drive all the way around a parking lot past a very outdated mall/arcade. Now when I say all the way around, I don't mean you have to drive a couple hundred feet...I mean a parking lot packed full of cars poorly parked by people either not knowing or not caring about how cars are supposed to be parked, past 2 or 3 restaurants, that mall/arcade I mentioned, then turn left and pass a clothing store and a few other stores, then make another left and pass more restaurants (maybe the backs of the other ones?) and around to a further back lot. Hopefully all accidents have been avoided and no pedestrians have tried to car jack you, and you see the back lot opens up to a bigger parking lot, and this my friends is the parking section for La Curacao. You can see what I assume is the worst Chuck E. Cheese to take your children to from this lot. Ok, so La Curacao is a superstore, and not super as in good, but super as in large with a variety of products like furniture, electronics, makeup, clothes, games, etc... Upon entering, we see a sign near the center of the store that points out where concert tickets can be picked up. We go directly to this line. While in line, I see video game systems on display and I walk over to investigate. A PS3 160 GB Console with 1 game and 1 controller with a price tag reading $520. Now, everywhere I have looked the prices were more like $300 range for the 320 GB console, including a game. I note this as just part of the weird dimension this store exists inside and walk back to the line for the concert tickets. Then I see the horrible leather couches they have on display. Bad patterns with gold sequins all over the place, vomit orange love seats, just crazy furniture all over the place. The more I look around, the more I am intrigued about what I'm going to see next. Also, many items for sale, have tags ranging 400 puntas to 2500 puntas. Who knows what that's all about. (I later had a friend tell me why they do this and it's a very sad way this store takes advantage of poor people with bad credit) This store is actually entertaining if you absolutely have to be here and can hold back your frustration. tl;dr Overall, I would rate this store's quality equal to Walmart, only exuberant pricing on some electronics, and who knows what else. The store's location is not easy to reach, nor in a good area. The store is filthy and has ugly furniture. However, the salesman who we dealt with to get the concert tickets was not rude and did just fine, so that was head and shoulders above Walmart's staff...but still horrible. We were probably there for 25 minutes, but time moves veerrrrryyyy sssslloooooooowlyyyyyy in this place, so make sure you have a big meal and go to the bathroom before coming here. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. The customer service is horrible. The lines are long and the employees just walk right past you and don't ask if you need help. Normally they say you can go up to any rep to make a payment but they just look the other way. The store is dirty and they follow you around the store if you're not Hispanic. I didn't have a problem with making payments or customer service. I only had an issue with the girl who sold me my laptop not telling me that i was buying a display model. The other thing was not being told i would need to wait for the password to be removed. It was Said to take 2 hours. So i left and came back to learn that i need to wait 2 more. I was that far into waiting, so i was waiting longer. When i finally got it, i learned that 90% of a 1TB HDD worth of memory was full. The tech guys didn't bother to delete the junk file they created when removing all the unneeded apps. But i don't blame the whole store for 2 individuals. read more

The only reason I selected 1 star was because I had to, because they don't even earn half a star. Bad service with warranty, prices for EVERYTHING are just too OVERPRICED. They do not honor price match even though they say they do. I purchased an appliance that eventually got damaged, and just to be able to get a tech out to check it out at home it took about 3 days. The tech calls and says: "I'll be there tomorrow(Thursday) b/w 12-6pm." They can't even give an exact time. The day comes, the tech calls at 1pm and says: "I'll be there in 10 minutes." It's already 1:30pm and no signs of the tech yet. Then the tech shows up and says he is there to "evaluate," the appliance. Meaning he isn't even there to fix it. He tells me it will take 48-72 hours for me to get a call to schedule an appointment for someone to come and fix it. I get a call til the following TUESDAY, to be informed they do not have parts for the appliance and they will give a store credit in the amount WAY LESS, than what the appliance actually costed me. I decided i might as well make use of that money, rather than just letting them keep my fridge and the money. So i went to choose out another one. AGAIN, another problem. The sales rep REYNA, said she would schedule an appointment for a tech to install the water and ice maker on the fridge that way i didn't have a hard time calling Curacao. This was on a Wednesday. Thursday the fridge is delivered, and I was told NO APPOINTMENT WAS MADE! I called and was told it would take 2 days for someone JUST to reach out to me and schedule an appointment. This is just the worst horrible place. There are NEVER any REAL SUPERVISORS AVAILABLE. This place just steal people's hard work earned money and when it's time for the customer to make use of their purchased warranty, they just act stupid. read more

So I tried this place for the first time to purchase a washer and dryer on Saturday. While the customer service in the store was awesome, unfortunately I can't say the same for the delivery and installation. When I purchased my Whirlpool washer and dryer, the salesperson also added the connectors I would need for the installation. Well it turned out that the connector was too small and I was basically charged for something I can't even use. Thank goodness I already had one connected from the previous owners of the house. The two men connected my washer and dryer almost without trouble, ran the dryer for a minute, and also the washer. I thought everything was fine, so I signed the delivery forms (received no copy) and then they left. Well, immediately I wanted to try out a load of laundry so I did. Thats when the problem happened. During the rinse cycle, my brand new washer flooded the laundry room and kitchen. I thought it was a fluke, so after I mopped up the first mess, I did another load. Same thing happened. Water was gushing out profusely from the hose hooked up to the washer and all I could do was minimize the puddle of water by using old sheets. I have to go to work tomorrow and don't know now when I will have time to remedy this situation. Not pleased at all. read more

Worst Curaçao store ever, received a page saying that they were selling the Classic Nintendo, made line manager comes outside and tries to explain that they only have twelve consoles to sell, bullshit if that's the case why did they send a massive text explaining to customers that they will be selling consoles. You had families waiting in line over two hundred people, Which I think it's not cool and deceiving in the part of Curaçao chain store. I would not recommend to buy any appliances from Curaçao! I had bought a Samsung washer and dryer with 5-year warranty for both just to find out my dryer broke down 4 months into buying it brand new! They sent a tech and couldn't find the problem, sent another the following time and he said it was a part that needed to be replaced. After being replaced my dryer was having problems again, they had sent a tech over 7 different times within a two year span of my dryer not working. They didn't want to give me a new one and would just say that it was a part that had to be replaced EVERY SINGLE TIME. The Dyer wouldn't dry my clothes properly and that caused me to dry my clothes several of times just for one load, causing my electric bill to go up or having me to go to a laundry mat to do laundry there even though I had a brand new dryer at home. It was 2015 when I bought them and now it is 2018 when they FINALLY approved to replace the whole unit! I waited two years with no answer to why my dryer wasn't working! I have never been late on a bill and had already paid them off by this point! I called customer service to ask them the following steps to get a new unit and they said I had to go into the store and pick a new dryer and pay a service fee. I don't understand why I have to pay anything out of pocket for a mistake that was not caused by me, trying to get answers from customer service was only making my situation a lot more frustrating because they are very rude and NO HELP. The lady on the phone told me to just go to the store because there was nothing she can do and hung up instead of explaining any questions I had. Worse customer service I have ever experienced. I go to the store to find out they no longer have the model I had bought! I have to pick a new one and my warranty covers how much i spent on the dryer I had first bought! Find a model similar, and the rep mentions that I have to pay for warranty, I looked at her and said I had previously bought 5 years of warranty and still had two years left but since its a different model I had to buy new warranty all over again. Meaning the 2 years of warranty have gone to waste and I paid that for nothing! I have never been late on a bill, I was patient with the process, but yet nothing I did could have avoided me getting screwed over by curaçao! I have never been so frustrated with services until now! And they will find any way for you to pay out of pocket! It is not worth it and they don't put the costumer first! Worst experience! I definitely regret getting credit with them! read more

I recently bought a table here and was very satisfied with the customer service. The young man who helped me chose the table was very kind and funny. He was very positive that I would get credit and I did. The only thing that did need a bit of fixing though was the people who helped me put the table in my truck. My boyfriend recommended us this place and the first time we came here was a good experience just because one of the staff helped us through the process. We were able to buy the tv we wanted. The second time we came back because my boyfriend received a $100 coupon we tried buying two apple iwatch and the guy that was helping us was being so rude and told us we can only get $25 off until one of his co worker told him that we can use that coupon as long as we purchase more than $100. Btw, he did not read what he says in the coupon after that, they told us to pick up the iwatch in the front. It took about another 45 mins and we're wondering why it was taking so long and we keep seeing the guy who was supposed to help us going back in fort in the back were we bought the iwatch. The guy who sold us the iwatch and the guy in the front who was supposed to help us get a brand new unopened box were having conversations but in spanish. They told us they only have a brand new one for my gold iwatch and for my boyfriends iwatch the black one they ONLY have UNOPENED one( the one in display) We tried talking to them cause they told at first that they have a brand new one thats why we bought it. It seems like the guy did not like us thats why he was giving us unopened one but in the end we found out they have a brand new one . We found out he did not want to give it to us.
