Espresso martini from the Terrance bar

The service was amazing. I went there three times during my stay and was treated very well every time. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. It's connected to the Sound Hotel by Hilton, and the ambiance was very relaxed. I highly recommend it.

We are staying in The Sound Hotel and this is their restaurant. It's raining and so we decided to stay in doors. While the food menu is small, the drink menu is quite impressive. We decided to go with their burger, fries, Caesar salad and a local draft beer. The food came out hot, the beer was cold and the service from Theresa was awesome!

Hotel restaurant is convenient and has a great staff. Standard breakfast fare and no questions asked or resistance to me swapping out the breakfast potatoes for extra sausage---at no additional charge! Thanks!

I'd give it 3.5 stars... Service was friendly, our waitress was very sweet but boy was it SLOW. It took us awhile to get a server's attention to order when we came in on a rainy day at 11:15. Apparently breakfast is not served past 11:00 and the chef cannot accommodate breakfast items. Oh well! My coworkers and I proceeded to all order the same thing- BLTA and a cup of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious!! All three of us enjoyed it very much except where they forgot the $2 added cheddar cheese on one of the sandwiches, oops to the chef. Then came the 3 cups of tomato basil. Yeah.... So I think the chef had a heavy hand with the salt and omg it was so unbearably salty none of us could have any of it. We kindly notified the server and she took it off the bill which was very nice. We had only 1-2 spoons to try the soup. Nope, sodium level would have peaked over. Other than that little bit, brunch was quite nice. Overall, the atmosphere is great with comfy seats, plenty of different seating and a very friendly waitress. I'll be back for another BLTA sandwich for sure!

This was tasty and well-priced but not anymore

First time couple times I went, I enjoyed my meal and everything about the visit. But the last couple times, service has been very slow to the point that we ended up leaving because we were being ignored. Most recently, I stopped in for dessert. The chocolate cake wasn't fresh and neither were the chocolate sticks. Also, they got rid of the lunch salad that I liked and raised the prices. Hmm.. higher prices for worse service is not a combo I enjoy. Started as 3 stars, dropped to 2 as I typed. :-(

The Monte Cristo had an interesting twist with mustard, gave it a Cuban feel. Not the Bennigan's Monte Cristo we all crave! :) Service was ok, bar backs were better than general service staff. Didn't seem particularly well run. Menu lacked. Stayed at hotel, and was on a tight schedule, otherwise I'd have gone elsewhere... probably should have. :/

    French Toast & Avocado Toast

Not worth the price! $45 for French toast and avocado toast. The avocado toast taste was amazing, but a single piece of toast and one hard boiled egg was more of a side dish than a full meal. The French toast was completely dry. It didn't appear to have been soaked egg wash or possibly just taken from the buffet then reheated and sprinkled with powder sugar. After eating one piece I wanted to send it back, but unless there is a hair in my food I am not that type of person. $45 is ok for "two meals", but I would have expected larger portions and them to sprinkle a few berries on the French toast. If it isn't going to taste good make it look good.

This restaurant is connected to the sound hotel but is also open to the public. I was a guest at the hotel and after returning from a day of exploring Seattle just wanted a quick bite. Luckily I arrived around happy hour time. It wasn't very crowded so there were plenty of seats to select from. I noticed that the prices for happy hour were not that significantly different than the normal prices. Usually happy hour has at least half off but both the drinks and the food were only a couple of dollars discounted. The salmon pate was tasty and paired nicely with the white wine. The decor of the restaurant is cool and trendy and comfortable.

We stayed at the Sound Hotel upstairs for 3 nights and dined here almost everyday. Everything was pretty good (except for the flatbread) - definitely better than your average "hotel food".

I love to grab a quick one here before a movie at SIFF (Cinerama). Just had a Manhattan and my friend a lemon drop that were perfectly balanced, mixed by Denise!

Cute vibey interior. Friendly staff! Ordered at the counter for takeaway between a couple meetings and was a seamless experience. Prices are high. $20 for a deconstructed lox sandwich and $4 for two eggs. But that's to be expected in downtown seattle at hotel bar. Wish eggs came with a biiiit more and also the salmon could have been more fresh. Seemed it was just taken out of fridge and maybe not totally thawed out or something. Cream cheese was almost whipped. Enjoyed that! 3.5 for the food but rounding up to 4 bc experience was good! (Plus look at the baby hot sauces they gave.)

Mac and Cheese (a bit dry probably from sitting under a heat lamp too long)

This could be 5 stars... The flavor of the food was on point (5stars) but it was served cold (2stars). So that averages out to three stars for me. Our server was AWESOME, location is great and ambience is fantastic so went with 4 stars. I'm would definitely try it again in hopes of it being served at least warm food, because the food was so good. The potential is there.

I guess it must be due to currant bistro coming out of the covid pandemic - wasn't exactly thrilled with both their happy hour and regular dinner menus as they are full of vegetarian dishes (needless to say, their menus are quite ideal for vegetarians and vegans, but prosciutto and seafood are the only options for protein food items for meat & seafood diners). Service by the bartender was pretty nice and it was his service was what made my dining experience worthwhile. Just wish my manhattan was a bit better.

And because they bartender wasn't paying attention, he forgot to put our food order in....probably didn't need it anyway, I need to diet. And then we get the check and they automatically add 22%...if you are a quality establishment offering exceptional customer service, you don't need to tell me what to tip...guess you are not. And they they have the nerve to ask me if I want to tip another 18%, 20%, or 25% when I sign the check on their Toast device... I'll go out for a quality cocktail experience at Needle & Thread, The Doctor's Office, or maybe the Red Onion, lol. But I won't be coming back here ever again.

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
