Very yummy food. Came in for lunch. It's a tiny but cozy place. Perfect to sit and people watch. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. Tried the rose water, so good! Light and refreshing!

I had passed by Curry Boys a few times and finally decided to stop by with a friend for dinner. I ordered the two item combinations with the lamb curry and chicken tikka masala. I also ordered the veggie. The samosas were very disappointing (1/5), probably the worst I've ever had. They didn't have the flavor I was expecting. The lamb curry (3/5) was good but could have used some additional seasoning. The highlight of my meal was the chicken tikka masala (4/5) which had great flavor and a nice amount of spice. The restaurant itself is small with minimal seating. The customer service was good.

Bummed out that this place did not taste as good today as I remember. Got all of the chicken plates including the chicken tandoori. I felt like a lot of the sauces tasted the same. None of them were remarkable. The chicken tandoori sauce was the best of them all and it wasn't amazing or anything. The chicken was tender but not flavorful. TBH my favorite thing was the naan! As always, service was great. It's a small place but it does have a few tables to eat at. Parking is plentiful. Maybe I'll give it another shot someday.

Randomly stopped here because my BF had this spot saved on a list, and it did not disappoint. Curry Boys is a small unassuming shop that delivers big flavors. We each got a wrap to try, and even though they were both chicken the flavors were bold and different from each other. Really good and very filling wraps. Service was friendly and inviting like we were going to a friend's house to eat some good food.

The food was good. If you do try this place I liked the Black pepper Chiken over the curry chicken rice was ok, it was better when you added the chicken with the sauce. The naan was good also. Nothing really to complain regarding the food. But the wait really people before us getting there food first. Not good for just two bowls and rice and everything is already prepared. The place was extremely small and a little dirty you can see in the photos I took of the inside. In other words would I go out of my way to try other dishes or even come back for what I ordered, Nope. But if you're in the area, why not.

Yo this little spot is serving up the best curry outside of Artesia haha. Well at least in my area. Never around the HP area, no freeways near by and traffic can be a hassle sometimes. Was very surprised, and worth the trip. I got the 3 item, Goat Curry, Tikka Massala, & Beef Khorma. All fire. Got the Mango Lassi as well, almost mandatory haha Dont forget the Garlic Naan

If I was ready I would have taken more photos. The staff was very helpful and there were plenty of staff to help. They played Bollywood shows on tv and music videos. The buffet domes with soda and tea so drinks can be included or you can order something else. The chicken dishes and the rice were so good. I could still be there enjoying the garlic naan where every order is made fresh. This was a great find and it's easy to see why it is rated so high.

It was also nice and quiet, with the music at the perfect volume, not like some restaurants where it's so loud you can barely have a conversation. We were seated in less than two minutes, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The food was delicious. I ordered the Elegant Butter Chicken and asked for it mild. It ended up being a little spicier than I expected, but it was packed with flavor. One thing to note is that everything is ordered separately. The butter chicken (around $22) came in a medium-sized bowl, and the plain Fragrant Basmati Rice (about $8) was a separate order. For my drink, I had a Moscow Mule. Instead of the traditional copper mug, it was served in a martini glass with a dried fruit garnish, which was a nice presentation. It tasted great as well. The only downside for me was the price. Our bill for two people came to about $148 before tip, which felt a bit expensive for what we ordered. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try, especially if you're looking for a nice date night or don't mind splurging a little for a quality meal and a pleasant atmosphere.

AMRITSARI KULCHA First time trying this type of flat bread. It is a North Indian stuffed flat bread. Originated from Amritsar, Punjab. It is a favorite street food. This is usually eaten with Chole, a spicy chickpea curry. The amitsari kulcha had mostly mashed potatoes and some paneer cheese. Various herbs in it, lots of herbs in it. It took me a bit to adjust to the herbacious flavors. This was reheated in the toaster oven until slightly crispy and it was delicious! You must reheat before you eat! This went really well with the Punjabi Butter Chicken I ordered. SAMOSA Flaky dough stuffed with spiced potatoes and peas. Delicious and this was my second time ordering it! I think this will be my go to place for potato samosas! And yes, reheat in toaster oven before consumption! PUNJABI BUTTER CHICKEN A popular Indian dish originating in Punjab. Tender chicken pieces in tomato-based sauce with butter and cream. Chicken marinated in spiced yogurt mix and cooked in a tandoor and grilled. The chicken has different pieces, such as legs, thighs and breast meat. All have bones in them. But there were about 4-5 pieces of chicken. They ask for your preference of spice levels, so I got medium spice. It was spicy! Spice lingers on your tongue and in your stomach too! Made my own basmati rice at home, so did not order it, but you definitely need the basmati rice to soak up all the flavors of the butter chicken! So delicious to eat with the aromatic, sweet basmati rice! This was also delicious with flat bread, but I absolutely loved it with basmati rice. NAAN (PLAIN) Wanted naan, so I ordered it plain. This was not oily and you can taste the ghee. The naan wasn't even in thickness. Parts of the naan that were thinner were crispy and thicker were fluffy and soft. It had very little herbs, so it had a clean, ghee flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Staff who took my order over the phone was kind, patient and spoke clearly and slowly. He made sure that my order was correct. All my orders were received and well packaged with saran wrap to ensure the food stays hot and does not spill. They even added utensils too, which I appreciate. My food was not fully prepared at the set time, however, they gave me a courtesy call to let me know. But I let them know it wasn't a big deal because I was also running late. Lol. Location is far from where I live, but if I am in the area, I am definitely returning! Delicious food, good service all around! A very happy customer! Cannot wait to try new dishes in the near future!

Great Indian food in Artesia!…read more Ever since moving to San Jose, I've been craving Indian food when I visit home, and Curry Lounge did not disappoint. We ordered two combo plates, which were more than enough for two people. The portions were generous! The butter chicken was lovely, and it definitely leans into the tomato flavors. However, the two showstoppers for me were the chicken tikka masala and vegetable samosas. They were incredibly flavorful! I also ordered the Masala Chai, which was affordable and tasted authentic. Service was quick and polite. This place is definitely appropriate for a casual lunch or dinner if you're stopping by the Artesia area. Only tough part is finding parking, but the downtown parking lot behind it had technical difficulties when we went, so we parked for free.
