Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan

My food was very good, the look inside was very nice, and the prices were fair. they got my food to me very fast, and they refill your rice for free!!! will defiantly go again.

This food is so good and authentic. I visit India several times a year for business and this food is the real deal. The korma is fantastic and the naan. The rasmalai isn't quite the same but very good if you like creamy desserts. Definitely worth a visit or takeout if you like Indian food!

Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken were both amazing!

Earlier this week was my first time at this restaurant and I've been planning my next return. It was excellent food, service, and ambiance.

Great Indian cuisine. Another stop at this local spot. Friendly quick service. Patient in explaining the menu with attention paid to level of spice. It's a busy place with as many to go orders as those dining in. The tikki masala is my favorite. Beautiful creamy sauce with precisely the amount of spice I specified. Chicken chunks are a little chewy but still delicious. The sauce is perfect for dipping the excellent garlic-stuffed naan. Also had Boti kababs. Chucks of flavorfully spiced lamb grilled on a skewer with peppers and onions. The meat was a little over done so drier than I would prefer. Nevertheless, very very tasty. Also perfect for dipping in that masala sauce. Also tried chicken momo. These are steamed dumplings filled with spiced ground chicken. Along the lines of potstickers but with a unique curry-inspired taste. Recommend this spot. Delicious food in a low key atmosphere.

Ambiance nothing too exciting. Very quiet no music nice aroma of curry. Comfortable booths Ordered Muligatwany soup, poori bread and cchicken Vindaloo 7 heat index. Brought out papadam!!! First time in many Indian Restaurants that I have seen this brought out. The onion chutney is really good and the mint sauce a bit has a bite to it (note: they just piped in a radio station). The tamarind was ok The food was excellent no complaints on any of it. The service was good and appropriate. She came by 1-3 times to make sure I had everything I needed and how the food was. I would get mild next time. Chicken was tender and spices spot on. The soup was HOT and spices were excellent. And a good size portion. Yes definite to come back and you should put it on your list to visit. Even thought the ambiance was ok , the food more than made up for that. Yea 5 stars and the food was the fifth star

Curry house was great. We ordered to go food through Yelp and it was made quickly. The only issue I had was that yelp's app never let me know that it was ready for pickup. I went inside to ask about the timeframe for completion and they had our bag ready. Inside isn't huge but it has a Bar if you want to grab a drink while you're there or if you are waiting. We were greeted by very nice people who work there and we had our food in no time. It was an easy experience to walk in and walk up to the bar that is directly across from the door. If you're eating inside it is clean and smells great. We will gladly be back.

Hidden gem in Wake Forest in a shopping center area on Main Street behind Korean Kitchen. I've been craving Indian food for a while and I found this place on Yelp while looking for restaurants in Wake Forest. I had my dog in the car with my husband so I had to get my food to go. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan to go. It took about 15 min to be ready. While I was waiting one of the workers gave me some ice water. The food was enough for my husband and I since we weren't really hungry and we just wanted to try it. We got enough rice and the naan was big but the curry itself was a pot with about 2 cups of curry and a few pieces of chicken in it. Everything was delicious though! I'll be coming back to dine in.

You can make reservations using the Yelp app, but we got there at 6pm Thursday and tables were open anyway. It filled up in about 90 minutes. Not a lot of pics in the huge menu. They have specials on certain days. After we ordered, we found out about a great deal for Thursdays. It was our fault we missed it because it was written RIGHT THERE on the menu. The lack of pics made it tough to order, though I'd had Indian many times. And the thick accents from the employees didn't help us to decide anything. Myself, I just stuck to curry. I picked mutton because I'd always wanted to try it. Yelp pics didn't help much either because few people write in descriptions what the photos are. Everything tasted amazing. They really know their food. Not to take anything away from the main dishes (I told you I loved them) but the standout for me were the fried pepper appetizers. A mix of just enough outside crunch and soft inside flavor. I'm no fan of chai tea, but I really liked theirs. The mutton was great, but I more prefer my meals without bones in them. Like with oxtails, which are routinely more skeleton than flesh, it's never a fine experience finding your bite to be a mouthful of bone. It's overrated, I promise you. The bill paying system is grossly inefficient. Tell them you want separate checks and nothing happens until the very end where everyone has to tell the server what they ordered, in a language they don't understand, mind you, and she charges everyone, one by one. It took like ten minutes to get through our party of five. It's a really bad method. Since it was my birthday, they played a YouTube video over the speakers. It was a generic "Happy Birthday To Whomever" type deal that worked fine, but they let it play for its whole fifteen minute runtime. It was cute, funny and ridiculous all at once. Wonderful food, nice servers, language barriers can be tough, and some questionable business practices still make this one a solid keeper. Just brace yourself.

Every dish I've tried has been consistently good, but the mango lime chicken deserves a special shoutout! What really keeps me coming back, though, is the value. Even my mother who never had Indian was a big fan of the lunch special! Service is friendly, flavors are reliable, and the menu delivers comfort with just enough polish. Whether you're new to Indian food or already a fan, Lime & Lemon is a go-to spot that never disappoints.

I had missed this on the menu, but my dosa with spiced powder inside did not come with potatoes or anything; it still was a nice flavor but not as substantive as I was hoping for the price. Thankfully, I did get a mango lime tofu dish that was bursting with flavor and also very filling, as well as a bread on the side that underwhelmed and didn't have much of the spiced potatoes as advertised (what do you have to do to get potatoes in your food here?). Overall, a nice location, but the food was a bit mixed in quality and not quite what I'd hoped for at the price. Particularly when one considers how many Indian restaurants there are around here. I could imagine them doing better on a different order; the other Lime and Lemon I went to was quite ncie.

The only meat I eat is turkey and seafood, so there's usually not a lot that I can order when I go places. But, there are so many turkey options. I was in heaven! I ordered the turkey bbq plate with greens (with turkey) and potato salad from Wings & Turkey BBQ. It came with a roll and some coleslaw, as well. It was very good. I demolished everything (except the potato salad. The flavor was great, but I think there were onions in it. So, it was just a texture preference.) My mom ordered a burger from Dave's Burgers. She said it was delicious. The rest of the family ordered different types of wings. They were all very satisfied with their food. Before we left, we ordered the banana pudding from Humble Catering. It was so good!! Excellent service and delicious food! Sorry I didn't get many pictures. We were hungry

Everything about this locale is intentional: the lighting, the decor, the colors... it's truly the perfect date spot. I'd like to recognize Sam Sanchez at the bar, who guided me from cocktail to entree and beyond for my eventual second visit while in Raleigh. He listened closely to my taste preferences, and his recommendations were flawless (although I can't imagine ANYTHING on the menu isn't delightful). On my first visit I started with the Byadgi Chili Shrimp and then feasted on the Lamb Sheekh Kebab. The shrimp texture was just right and the coconut sauce is a perfect compliment. The lamb kebab comes in two separate pieces; one is wrapped in naan and the other is naked. The chili beurre blanc sauce has a kick that I really enjoyed! And my favorite: Dal-e Tamasha, 24 hours slow cooked black lentil. My mouth is watering even as I think about it. You might think something as humble as lentils could not make one's heart race... but you would be wrong. My second visit saw me reunited with my dear Dal-e Tamasha plate and what became the pinnacle of my visit to Raleigh: MUSHROOM "MADE IN HEAVEN" dish. It is difficult to describe how AMAZING every bite is. There is a complexity of flavors that somehow blend AND standout. Each nibble of the dumpling and a bit of risotto along a sip of the "umami bomb" is an experience. I am actually very glad I was sitting on the patio dining solo because I was able to give my full attention to this experience. To wrap it all up, I was fortunate enough to try the pink guave lemon lime and tahin sorbet... don't snooze on it, it's a must try! A big shout out to the Tamasha team, owner Mike (thank you for checking on me and chatting up spices and culture!), and Chef Chhatwani for sharing your passion with the world. I can't WAIT to return to Raleigh and visit again.

Imagine a spot that's equal parts Mumbai majesty and Southern comfort. You walk in, and the vibe is…read moreinstantly lively--like a Sunday supper where everyone actually likes each other, just with way better spices and a whole lot less drama. They've got these plush, deep green velvet booths that hug you sweeter than a Southern grandma, paired with large, dramatic blue dining chairs that practically scream, "Sit and Stay a While". Everywhere you look, there is gleaming copper decor catching the light, reflecting off soft, warm wood tones that keep the whole place from feeling stuffy. It's upscale, sure, but it breathes. It is bustling, animated, and humming with gossip and laughter. It's high-end, but not overly formal. Now for the bar - The Old Fashioned is absolutely gorgeous, the star of the show being the unique craft ice. That giant block of ice is taking up about 90% of real estate so they are giving you a very short pour on the liquid. It's about three sips of actual cocktail swimming around a diamond-grade ice cube. It is high-end and it tastes wonderful--just don't expect a heavy pour. A must try - The Ultimate Four-Cheese Truffle Kulcha, they threw out the rulebook for this blend. Pillowy, tandoor-baked dough with sharp, bitey white cheddar, a wonderfully funky and oozing brie, a sharp and nutty asiago, and just enough mozzarella to give you a cheese pull that stretches all the way to next week. It's laced with finely minced fresh chili and topped with blistered, smoky shishito peppers, complete with a truffle flex. Now hold onto your pearls, darlin', because their butter chicken is not that neon-orange, overly sweet butter chicken you get from the mall food court. This is the sophisticated, high-society glow-up that your tastebuds have been praying for. They start with chicken thighs that are so perfectly moist it ought to be a crime. Then the Gravy (The Showstopper): This is a velvety, luxurious makhani sauce made from deeply smoked tomatoes and red peppers. It has a sultry, back-of-the-throat woodsmoke depth that plays beautifully with the sweet acidity of the peppers. It's finished with a generous dusting of fragrant, herbaceous fenugreek leaves. Just when you think it can't get any richer, it's crowned with dehydrated butter that melts right back into the sauce as it hits your table, creating an impossibly glossy, silk-sheet texture. The food is pure luxury, but the rice portion is giving 'recession.' Don't let them starve your sauce--order extra rice right out of the gate and eat like the king or queen you are. Before you get completely drunk on truffle butter and smoky makhani sauce, you need to look at the bottom of that menu, they are slipping in a warning and I am here to make sure you don't get caught off guard when the check drops. They are feeding you like royalty, but they are also making sure their staff gets paid like royalty--automatically. Check your math before you add an extra tip, because that 20% is already locked, loaded, and heading straight for your credit card.

It was not busy on a Sunday and I'm guess it's geared towards people that work in the area on weekdays. Walking to the bathroom and bypassing the vacant security desk for the building was a strange experience. The menu is South Indian; there were some differences in what was online and what I found on the printed menu, but it was a wide and interesting selection with abundant options for special dietary needs. I ordered a dosa and an appetizer, which were splendidly presented on banana leaves. I asked for my Indo-Chinese paneer extra spicy, and they seemed a bit skeptical, but it did deliver a heck of a spice kick and an abundance of leafy tropical flavor (full curry leaves are common in this cuisine). The dosa was large, extra thin, quite salty, and satisfying. A chai was small and unsweetened. I didn't get quite the bustling atmosphere that their other location (in Cary) possessed and the menu for some reason did not have the kottu paratha I wanted to try, but I would definitely recommend anyone seeking some South Indian food to come here.
