Definitely a Good value. The curry rice was very tasty. I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. This might be my go to now.

The minute I saw interior pictures on Yelp, I knew I had to come here; every restaurant with good…read moredecor takes their food more seriously, and I was not disappointed. I came on Sunday around 5:30, and was seated immediately. The steady influx/outflux of customers never made it seem too quiet, even though only half the restaurant was utilized. If you decide to come here, I recommend avoiding the Thai staples like Pad Thai and Tom Yum, and ordering at least 1 dish from the "From the Chef" section. This place feels more authentic with more unique offerings compared to your regular run of the mill Thai place (they are mostly government sponsored anyways). I ordered a Papaya salad (Som Tum Poo Pla), a Shrimp Paste Fried Rice, and Roasted Pork with Crispy Pork Belly. For starters, the Papaya salad with a bigger price tag is not for the faint of heart. There is a load of fish sauce, and combined with anchovies, makes for an...acquired dish. I was told by my server that it's pretty authentic, but it's a little too authentic and reminds me of Natto or Beijing tofu juice. The Shrimp Paste Fried rice is a must order; the spread is very instagram worthy and gives me vague paella vibes in terms that it's shareable and good for parties 2-4. I did not see this dish at other Thai restaurants I've been to, so I'd consider pretty unique. Just be mindful that it's on the sweeter side, and the chilis on the side are very, very spicy, so allocate accordingly. The Roasted Pork with Crispy Pork Belly was by far the star of the show. The skin was super crispy, and the pork itself was super tender, melt in your mouth feeling. The flavors and seasonings were perfect, with just a hint of basil to elevate the entire taste. A true adventure for the taste buds, and a must order as a shareable. Service was super friendly, and my waiter answered all my questions with a smile, and even gave us his recommendations since we wanted to stray away from the basic thai food orders. This place is a must come to if you're looking for true authentic Thai food from a chef that has pride in his work. I can't wait to come back to try their other unique dishes!

Saap Ver delivered on a Friday night and then some…read more My friends and I popped in around 7pm and were seated fairly quickly which was a pleasant surprise for a Friday evening. We ordered a spread and everything that came out was delicious. The Lao style papaya salad was a little on the salty side but was so packed with umami that it was hard to stop going back for more. The balance of bold flavors is exactly what you want from a good papaya salad. The roasted duck curry was a standout -- creamy, rich, and beautifully balanced without letting the duck flavor get too overpowering. The crying tiger spicy basil chicken, crab fried rice, and eggplant tofu all held their own too. Honestly no weak links across the whole table. The ambiance added to the whole experience -- dark and moody in the best way, the kind of setting that just makes dinner feel a little more special. Fair warning though, it does get a little loud as the night picks up so maybe not the spot for an intimate quiet dinner, but perfect for a fun night out with friends. Saap Ver, we will definitely be back!

We trie the crispy rolls ($12), papaya salad ($14.50), drunken noodle ($17.25), pad see ew ($17.25) and choo chee salmon ($23.95). The crispy rolls were vegetarian and came with a side of sweet chili dipping sauce. It was a standard roll, nothing to complain about but not something I would go out of my way for. Papaya salad was fresh and came with lettuce leaves as well. A solid app to split with a small group. I didn't try the drunken noodles as the group wanted beef in it, but I heard it was good. We decided to get tofu as the protein for the pad see ew, and it definitely hit the spot. However, I'd say the choo chee salmon was the winner. The curry sauce was super flavorful and had hints of coconut. Salmon was cooked well, and it came with some veggies that soaked up the curry. We didn't ask for rice on the side since we already had 2 carb dishes, but it would pair very nicely with white rice. Service was good. They checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. I wish they had all the thai spices and sauces though. Usually at Thai restaurants, there's four different condiments, but this one only had a homemade spice concoction.

The servers are so friendly, kind and hardworking. They truly know what exceptional customer service is about. The food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was so appealing, with the little touches of Thai hospitality. My first breakfast was the Meat Lover's Omelet with House Potatoes. Tasty and it really hit the spot. Great coffee too! Dinner consisted of a flavorful beef Mussamun chili dish. Awesomely tender beef in a savory sauce. A Stella Artois worked well for my drink. My second breakfast was a Belgian Waffle with Chicken Apple Sausage and Scrambled Eggs. Perfection, with fruit accents of banana, blueberries, strawberries and grapes. Thanks to the chefs and servers at Lapisara! I'm a big fan now.

We decided to share a mimosa flight, spring rolls, and ahi scoops. Even though it wasn't brunch, they still allowed us to order a brunch flight, and they were so polite and helpful throughout 4.8/5. The inside is tiny, but quite stunning, clean, and gives a lot of opportunities for insta-worthy pics 4.9/5, I only wish there had been an actual photo wall. Now to the food. The crispy spring rolls were cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. The clear noodles and veggies were so yummy. I asked for soy sauce because that's what I prefer over sweet sauce, but honestly they needed nothing 4.8/5. The ahi scoops had the best seaweed salad on it that I have EVER had, the wasabi cream on top was the show stopper, and I don't even like wasabi 5/5. We shared the flight and was more than tipsy from two drinks each, flavors on point champagne delicious 5/5. Overall

The interior is well decorated with Thai culture and with the darker tones of the design, it makes the restaurant feel quite fancy. 4.5/5 - Crispy Pork (Moo Krop) Fried Rice - Very savory fried rice dish. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish. Filling portions and did not overcook their noodles. You can taste each component of the dish, which speaks to everything not being under or overcooked. We ordered nuts on the side but you would be quite satisfied ordering this if you like pad thai! 4.5/5 - Pad Gra Prow - Appropriate veggie to beef proportion and very flavorful. Minced well and great to complement with your carb dishes (noodle or rice). We thought the dish was slightly oily but it feels well absorbed when eaten with our pad thai. If you have tried the dish before and would like it, this will be satisfactory!

So that sucked. 1st let's admire my Thai Ice Tea. This was so adorable & I felt bad drowning him in my tea ha 2nd - my co-worker said this was the 2nd best Pad Thai he's ever had. They grill the tofu so it's got some crunch to it. Which totally elevates the Pad Thai. My Panang Curry with duck was excellent! Decent amount of duck just a few bones. Great little kick on the spice BUT not so spicy that it makes you regret life choices! Delicious will order again. The only thing I'd complain about is that my rice wasn't sticky. I prefer stickier rice - but this rice is perfect if you don't have a preference. I don't want fully unwashed mush but I like a little more starch. My other co-worker ordered Roasted duck over rice - he said it was tasty & would order again. We did order chicken satay and the chicken had good flavor BUT the peanut sauce was just ok. I'd order it again to see if it was just an off day for the sauce. It's a small restaurant & filled quickly at lunch. Many Asians eating there which told me it would be good. Restrooms were slippery so be careful but clean. Overall I would come again!

#3 chicken set with Coconut dessert. $26.01 not including tip…read more There is an art to living life where the order of experiences impact each other synergistically. When it comes to food, we all already know that dessert comes last as to cleanse the palette, but what about when it comes to an arrangement like this? I was on a quest to discover the cosmic order that transcended preference. I am not a scientist, but I know when a couple meets, 1+1=4. Peanut butter + jelly are way better together instead of by themselves. There was more than to these 6 dishes served individually as they were served together to create a far greater experience. Chicken & rice is a classic combo that really transcends cultures. I ended up pouring my "Thai Massaman Peanut curry with chicken" on the rice. The rice really soaked up the juices, it was so good. Next, my mouth experienced contrast therapy. It experienced a nice sauna from the hot chicken curry and took a cold plunge from the "Central Thai-style green papaya salad". The one thing that I could not understand was the "Thai coconut mushroom soup". It was sour and really interrupted my contrast therapy. Next time, I'll figure that out. The "Sautéed Butternut Squash" you could really eat in between everything. It complimented the chicken as something savory. When I wanted a break from the chicken, I took a stab at the squash. The "Homemade Pudding" was ate at the end and it was OK. I got the Coconut, but the sugar tasted off. I am very picky with sugar, I cannot have any processed sugar, I cut that stuff out 5 years ago and life could never be better. Overall, the mystery really turned this into a 5/5 experience. The "Homemade pudding" despite being ok, still did its job of cleansing the palette. With regards to the "Thai coconut mushroom soup", I just didn't understand the art. Whoever does understand the art or who has written a book about it, please please refer it to me.
