During my entire meal, the young clerk was flirting incessantly with one of the much older customers, loudly and suggestively. I really wanted to like this place. I ordered it for delivery. I ordered the tandoori burrito. It just was not for me. I found it too spicy with not enough flavor. I don't know how else to put it. It's pretty disappointed. I also ordered from this location by mistake because I was looking at the hurry, curry Instagram videos, and accidentally ordered from curry up now.. because they have the same menu from what I could see. The stuffed naan concept is interesting because the curry (you could choose between paneer or chicken) is stuffed but exposed on the top layer making it almost like an Indian pizza except that it's naan. The mini samosas are delish and despite doing a takeout the crust was crispy. Overall I give it a 7/10 for food and taste. read more

It's hard to describe this place because I'm not sure how street food it is. The didn't really like the food as much as I hoped for but maybe I just don't like chicken breast and I prefer chicken thighs. I've been to another Curry Up Now in Sunnyvale but it seems that the menu has changed over the years. I think it's trying to set itself apart from a typical Indian food but I really don't know what makes them better than the average Indian food taste wise because I actually don't think it tastes better in any way. The service is courteous and the place can seat good number of groups. Tbh for Indian fast food I'd prefer naan and curry over this because I still prefer typical Indian food. read more

Tikka Masala Bowl - chicken, rice, and chana garbanzo masala make up this dish and it's delicious though I consider it a bit small. Rice does not make up the entire bottom layer as it might look, there's an even split into thirds of chicken, rice, and garbanzo. Chicken was tender and flavorful. I still think their Thali plates are the best deal one area - three dishes (including butter chicken and any of their proteins), rice, bread, samosa and some cool star chips plus salsas and toppings and complimentary Chai (and cookies) for about $20 ! Delicious, filling and a nice variety of flavors ! They seem to have a lot of take out orders but a clean and nice place to sit and chill and eat ! Haven't been here for a while. Now I wonder why we don't come here more often! My fiancé ordered the death by tikka masala... a medley of chicken tikka masala, Dahl, rice, naan, and chips. Truly a complete meal. Tikka masala was very flavorful. I ordered the paleo bowl. Wow what a generous amount of tandoori chicken thigh. The chicken is very spicy but delicious. If you've been looking for affordable and fast Indian cuisine, I would definitely recommend checking out Curry Up Now. While the quality definitely doesn't compare to Palo Alto's high end/Michelin approved spots (Rooh, Ettan, Zareen's), Curry Up Now is definitely a solid option that satisfies your craving for Indian food without any extra frills. I ordered a Death By Tikka Masala Thali, which came with a choice of paneer and/or chicken tikka masala, naan (I went with the burnt chili flavor), basmati rice, and a mini samosa. Definitely a good option if you want to sample a little bit more of the menu without having to pick different items! In terms of the food quality, I was definitely reminded more of Costco style Indian food rather than authentic Indian cuisine. You can also tell that their naan is not made fresh in-house, although I did appreciate how they heated it up before serving it to me. Nevertheless, the food was definitely delicious, albeit a bit salty for my liking, and nothing really stood out to me as mind blowing. Service can definitely be a little scattered - thankfully I checked my order before leaving, but my package didn't contain the mango lassi that I ordered, which was pretty disappointing. I've been to Curry Up Now, three times. Which is a surprise because I've been getting pizzas at New York Pizza for years. But myself and my mother "discovered" this little place one day on a walk when we couldn't decide what to eat. And we are so glad we did! We've ordered the big share platter. The Tikki Masala and Butter chicken are just chefs kiss. The naan bread is so warm and fresh out of the oven. We tried their chicken tacos for the first time yesterday and it's definitely going to be a dish that I order for future visits. My mom loves the mango yogurt drink. The very kind lady working the register (I forgot your name I'm so sorry) is always polite and helpful when trying to decide what to order. She gives us such a warm welcome when we visit. I recommend this place 100%. The food is fresh and you can tell they put effort and thought into their ingredient and dishes. read more

My supervisor was buying lunch for the clinic and we ended up choosing Curry Up Now to try. I have seen Curry Up Now when it use to be in Alameda but closed down, but never got a chance to try it. I was pretty excited to get to try it this time around. After looking at the menu I opt for a Chicken Makhni Butter bowl. Two of my other co workers got the Makhni Butter Burrito and I guess that confused my supervisor as he ended up getting me a burrito as well instead of the bowl. I took a bite of the burrito and it wasn't bad. I quite like it but wished there was an option to get it spicy if we wanted. I ended up saving it for dinner as I ended up not being hungry during lunch waiting for the food to come. I know I definitely asked for chicken when I placed my order with my manger, but as I was eating the burrito it didn't seem like it was chicken inside, I believe it was paneer instead, which was a little disappointing. Overall it was pretty good, but for me it could've been better. I may come back again to try other items, but not sure yet. read more

The chaat was delicious and the fries were good! The only reason I give this establishment 4 stars is because I wish their masala sauce/dip tasted better. I opt for the creamer richer and more buttery varieties while this place offers a sauce that tastes closer to a tomato soup. Their naan bites were also just okay and tasted like Costco pita bread- which isn't bad, but also what we weren't looking for.
