The pancake itself was dry and tasteless and the small serving of syrup it came with didn't help. I'm sure the ube pancake entree was a lot better as we saw someone next to us eating it and it was topped with fruit and whipped cream. That would have definitely helped with the taste and dry texture. The omelet was really good though. The sauce was delicious and it was a perfect combination with the rice. I wasn't too crazy about the crab, but I loved everything else about that dish. I ended up sharing a bit of it with my friend as she said she wasn't happy with her meal. I saw our waitress glance to see if we were doing ok, but it seemed like she didn't want to interrupt our conversation. I noticed that she was the only one on the floor and the place was getting busy, but her demeanor seemed a bit cold and she really looked like she didn't want to be there. I'm not sure if I would come back here. The Tom Yum dish was good, but that was about it. Based on other reviews, it looks like their traditional dishes are popular, but for me there are many other Thai places that serve delicious food while providing good customer service. I think that's why I was a bit taken aback with my experience here. I've always received warm welcomes and great service with every other Thai restaurant that I've been to. I might come back to try their more traditional dishes, but it'll be awhile before I return.
