We came to Cut with a bunch of friends on the last week of Dine LA at $95 per person for 3 curse meal. We made reservations for a party of 8 for 5:30pm amd was seated right away once we all arrived. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and vide. Our server and service was fantastic and professional and very accommodating. As for the food we all did the Dine LA with a few starter add on. For the add on we ordered for the table. Ahi Tuna Tartare- This was finely chop with pickles shallot confit egg yolk. The tuna was fresh and the consistency was more like a chutoro, very fatty. 4/5 stars Bone Marrow Flan- This was fantastic and was served with toasted bread. 5/5 stars Prime Steak Tartare- Also fantastic. The chop up steak was very tender and fatty. The meat just melts and clean taste. The flavor was delicious. 5/5 stars. Dine LA: For the starter I ordered the jumbo lump crab cake. The crab it's self was full of crab delicious meat but it wasn't jumbo. 3/5 stars Main: I upgraded my NY Strip to Filet Mignon (+15) I ordered it rare but I was served medium rare which was ok. The Filet it's self wasn't the best flavor wise. 3/5 stars. Dessert: Got the banana cream pie. It was good and light. 3.5/5 stars. Not to mention Cut Smoke Old Fashioned was fantastic but the only problem was tiny pour. 3/5 stars. Overall, i thought Cut was just ok and very pricey for the amount of food you get. The only reason I'm give it 4 stars was that the man himself had the time to spend and came by our table to chat for a well and take pictures.

I was excited to finally try one of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants, and got the chance to come to Cut for a private event on a weeknight. However, I left extremely disappointed (and still hungry!!) The butter lettuce salad was incredibly mid. It was way too heavy on the blue cheese and drenched in dressing. My friend also found a bug on her butter lettuce salad (see attached picture), so gross!! For my entree, I ordered the loup de mer which was well-cooked and had a good flavor. I've never seen a restaurant take so long to serve food. I understand we had a larger party, but this was laughably late. Our event had already concluded, and we STILL hadn't received our entrees. It ended up taking an hour and 50 minutes before our entrees arrived. There was also no apology at any point for the delay. I 100% do NOT recommend Cut. Save your money and your time and go to Ocean Prime or Steak 48 instead. This place is not it.

This is a missed Dine LA, Sommelier review. Tried to sneak in with Open Table reservations w/o prepaying. Not Gunna Happen. Dine LA menu (offered infrequently) not available. Who cares, it's just money right. That we Don't have but... life is short so DO IT. We did Dine LA a couple years back and it was money. This visit was equally exquisite. The food is next level, but as mentioned this is their wine guy review. Beau B was an absolute standout. We brought in a bottle of wine cuz we roll like that. Corkage $75 no problem, we aint dropping $4k on the Napa hype. He decanted our 11y/0 cab, toasted with us twice and made our evening memorable and Social. The food was great. Do the DUCK! The dining room and open kitchen are beautiful, but BB made it a night to remember & Repeat.

Best steakhouse in the city!! The head chef really knows what he's doing here. Every cut of meat is so tender and seasoned exceptionally. It may be on the pricier side, but you are getting flavors that are to die for and an amazing fine dining experience. The steakhouse itself is stylish and modern and sets the stage for an unforgettable meal.

Excellent steakhouse! The jumbo lump crab cake and balfegó bluefin tuna tartare were the favorite appetizers. Especially loved the crispy rice cracker dusted with seaweed powder that came with the tuna tartare. For sides must get the cavatappi pasta "mac & cheese" - gooey deliciousness. Our party enjoyed varieties of the filet mignon which was fun because a lot of other steakhouse have just one type. The banana cream pie was the perfect way to top off the meal! It wasn't overly sweet and the puff pastry was so light. The banana sorbet was a unique addition. All of the winter cocktails sounded so fun but they turned out to be average. The fireside espresso martini had the best presentation with the toasted marshmallow. Appreciated that this steakhouse is on the smaller side so think that definitely helps the staff provide exceptional service. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. For valet enter on S El Camino Drive and CUT does provide validation (came out to $15 after validation)

Hard to believe this was my first time dining in the restaurant. I've frequented the bar which is nice- you can also order from the menu and it has a lounge vibe. Everything we ordered was on point! They really char your meat so I'd suggest getting it more rare than usual. For starters we had steak tartare, endive salad, bone marrow and crab cake. You must get the bread board- it was the star of the show. The sides were equally amazing- we had creamed spinach, Mac and cheese and cauliflower. An all time favorite was the banana cream pie for dessert, but they changed it up and it's not the same. It was definitely a memorable evening. Service was exceptional. Loved it and can wholeheartedly recommend!

I've dined at CUT before and always considered it a special-occasion restaurant, which is why this last visit was so disappointing -- particularly the service experience. We were there celebrating a birthday, so the situation unfortunately put a real damper on what was supposed to be a special evening. Throughout dinner we relied heavily on our waiter's recommendations. We ordered several cocktails, including a Two Spice Old Fashioned, and later -- at his suggestion -- added four "house special" Old Fashioneds for the table. At no point were ingredients, uniqueness, or especially price mentioned. Dinner itself included the Wagyu Tomahawk, True A5 New York, truffle fries, and mac and cheese. The food was good overall, though honestly the Tomahawk was just okay -- not quite what I expected for a restaurant of this caliber. The real issue came with the bill. We were blindsided to see the "house special" Old Fashioneds priced at $90 each. Having a server recommend a drink at that price without any heads-up felt uncomfortable and, frankly, a bit like a shady upsell rather than the polished hospitality I expect from a high-end steakhouse. This wasn't our first visit to CUT, which makes the experience even more disappointing. I've always associated Wolfgang Puck restaurants with transparency, professionalism, and exceptional service -- but this visit missed the mark.

Food - I came for Dine LA, which came with an app, main with two sides, and dessert for $135. With our larger party size, we got all 3 sides offered in double portions, enough for everyone to have everything. I had the NY strip and it was cooked really well. The sides were okay and disappointing at the price point. I liked the fries more than the potato puree. The creamed spinach would have been better without the fried egg with undercooked egg whites. The butter lettuce salad is a good starter (note: it's really heavy on the bleu cheese). The basque cheesecake was great. Service - It's fine dining, but just a notch down from top tier service. There were some hiccups throughout the night. The biggest one being the server getting a dish wrong and then blaming one of the people in our party, while offering to bring the correct dish - instead of just owning he made a mistake. Overall though it's mostly good and what you'd expect and most of our interactions with staff were pleasant. But the kitchen was slow to send out dishes. We had some longer than expected wait time between each course. Space - The space in the evening is dimly lit, with lots of candles. Good for a date night. Wolfgang Puck was also making his rounds greeting guests, which is always fun. The dining room is really large. The only thing I disliked was because this is located in a hotel, the bathroom is the hotel lobby bathroom, and it's a little trek from the restaurant. Parking - Valet is $15 for 3 hours, with validation from the restaurant. They share valet with the hotel so you pull up at the same entrance.

This is one of my go to date night spots to go to with my boyfriend. The food is always tasty and consistent. I love getting their bread board, steak tartare, and the lamb chops every time we go. They also have good wine options. The service is really good but it can be a bit slow at times.

10/10 experience. Went here for our anniversary dinner and it was genuinely one of the best experiences. Alicia was our server. She was truly so friendly and extremely passionate about the menu, and working there. She was so charismatic, funny and beyond gracious. She brought out glasses of champagne for us, helped us pick out the perfect cuts and sides. Everything was fantastic and cooked to perfection. Also the fact that the restaurant is located inside of the iconic hotel is such a bonus. Love the elegant and simple ambiance. Highly recommend!

Amazing restaurant, great service, beautiful ambiance!! This restaurant is TRUE class and fine dining. The steaks are delicious and the sides are amazing! I can't even tell you about how great the service was, it was OUTSTANDING! We met Wolfgang Puck himself and he was extremely kind, greeting our family and other guests as well. We felt so welcomed and had an absolute great experience! Will be coming again for sure!

I had very high expectation but it was just fine. Friendly and upscale service, relatively causal ambiance. Super overpriced - the steak was good but not outstanding. There are many other better steakhouse options in the area.

Started the night with cocktails, and I can say, the Ambrosia is delicious. It has a tequila base with coconut cream and passion fruit. Just very good. The Light My Fire was a nice show as it cooked our and is kit on fire, but the first didn't match that is the Ambrosia. So, with DineLA, we were given bread and butter at the table. The bread was actually more they basic and had a nice flavor to it. For our appetizer, I ordered the steak tartar. On the menu, it had a lot going on with Dijon mustard, chili sauce, shallots, cognac, etc, but I can't say so if there ingredients were noticable in the flavor profile or on the pallet. But paying that on the potato crisps was still a decent bite. The salmon tartar was decent as well but didn't necessarily stand out. The real winner was the meat sushi with avocado cream and parmesan. Totally unexpected and very good! In terms of entrees, we tried a little of everything. I had the wagyu NY steak, cooked medium rare. It was cooked very well on the inside, could have had a better crust on the outside. And they give you your own side of kosher salt so you can "salt bae" it yourself. You also had a choice of side between mashed potatoes and mushrooms. I got the mushrooms and I'm very glad I did. They were very good with 2-3 tired of mushrooms in the medley. The prime NY steak was ok, it didn't really stand out, and the wagyu burger was also decent but, in Los Angeles, with so many great burgers, you really need to step your game up it you want to be noticed, and this burger did not accomplish that. With dessert, there were four options. I choose the San Sebastian Cheesecake, and, for our table, no one really loved it. It is definitely not your standard cheesecake, much less sweet and without that nice graham cracker crust you come to know and love. There was a chocolate sauce on half of it which gave it a little something extra, but it really was not a hit for our table. The pistachio baklava came with a show as the assembled it, but the energy of the show to assemble the baklava was better then the baklava itself. Overall, a nice experience, staff was nice and attentive to our take and our needs, but the food just didn't hit as we all hoped it would.

I really gotta respect their dedication to red meat and the holy art of cooking a damn good steak. This place is essentially what I'm looking for in a restaurant. Basically hits on all cylinders and checks off all the critical boxes. I don't want to sound all dramatic and such, but I'm dying to go back and try all the other items I didn't have, as well as check out the bar experience. I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Broccolini was fresh, high quality, and complimented the steak very well. I'm bummed we only got to try just the ribeye when it came to the cuts, but my gf did not want to order anything under medium or medium rare that night, so that was a bummer. It's her loss! The panna cotta was the creamiest sweet treat in all of LaLa Land. This is a great place, and it's a top-tier steakhouse. SoCal sometimes lacks places of this caliber that NY, Chicago, and SF / Napa have, but this place is a very close contender to some of the top cream-of-the-crop, steak-centered restaurants in the country. Came in last night for after dinner drinks to celebrate a friend's birthday. The bar space is very…read moresmall, so seating and standing room are limited, but thank you to the hostess who was incredibly kind and offered us a table so we weren't stuck blocking the walkway. We were greeted by a server who brought water, and once we were settled, I tried to politely get someone's attention. Instead, I got an eye roll, followed by him pretending not to see me and walking away. Someone else at our table then raised their hand, same response: another eye roll. He eventually came over, but the attitude was... unnecessary. All we wanted was to order a single drink for the birthday girl. Mind you, the rush was over. I believe he may have been a busser rather than server. The time it took to roll his eyes.. twice.. he could have easily grabbed our server instead. Not sure why he wouldn't support his team.. The lack of basic courtesy stood out more than it should have.

There are a lot of pretentious cocktail bars these days with "technique" and interesting ingredients, but falls short in flavor and execution. Dante is not one of those bars. It's the opposite. Seemingly simple and fresh drinks ended up being cocktails that were all mind blowing. 10/10 would recommend to impress friends who like cocktails

The service and ambiance were excellent which helped gain an extra star. The food, not so much. The bread rolls were good but soaked in butter. The hamachi was decent. The ceasar salad was mediocre at best. The mushroom and sautéed corn were over salted. The hasselback potatoes and cauliflower were edible. But hard to enjoy when majority of your meal was overpowered by salt. I asked for medium rare on my bone-in filet mignon and had to send it back because it was overcooked. The second one came over salted, rare inside (deep red in color not pink) and burnt on the outside. Unfortunately, the quality of the steak was not up to par for a fancy steakhouse.

They went above and beyond in every way, and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you both for making our evening so memorable! THEY DESERVE EVERY PRAISE THEY RECEIVE!!!

They had the Easter bunny come to take photos with the kids and handed out eggs. Val was our server and was great, and Maya, who was helping her, was honestly amazing. She was so attentive and just always on top of everything. I don't think she stopped moving once the whole time we were there. She was constantly checking in, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and making sure everything felt smooth without ever interrupting the moment. The food was also so good, we loved the chilaquiles and the cinnamon roll was definitely a favorite. Everything came out perfect and the whole experience just felt easy and enjoyable. It's not often you notice a server assistant this much, but Maya really stood out she was so nice and sweet and made us feel welcomed. I would absolutely come back and would love to have them again.

We ordered the truffle eggs Benedict and the croque madame, and calling the meal disappointing would be an understatement. The presentation alone looked careless and unappetizing -- shocking for dishes at this price point. When you charge $40 for eggs Benedict, expectations naturally rise. One expects not only quality ingredients and flavor, but refinement and attention to detail. Instead, what arrived looked rushed and poorly executed. The croque madame was somehow even more baffling: the egg managed to be both undercooked and overcooked at the same time -- a culinary contradiction I didn't think was possible. The textures were off, the balance was unpleasant, and nothing on the plate justified the premium pricing. And to complete the experience, the restaurant automatically adds a 20% service charge to the bill, regardless of the quality of service or food. An unfortunate ending to an already deeply disappointing breakfast.
