The focaccia bread basket with Kris, and a pesto dip that will brought out to the table we're delicious! They tasted freshly baked. 5/5. I had the fillet carpaccio as my starter and it was a pretty generous serving. I think it could've had used capers or something to give a little bit more flavor. But it's super fresh overall. 4/5. We both had the short ribs as our entree. It was super tender! I still needed a little bit more flavor. They brought me this amazing chilly oil they make in house that had a smokiness to it and brought the dish to life. It went from 4/5 to 5/5. The stone-fired pizza had that classic Italian feel with a perfectly crisp crust. The veal was insanely tender, and the risotto it came with was next level. My buddy got the chicken parm and loved it, and the table-side spaghetti finished in a cheese wheel was such a fun show and actually tasted as good as it looked. Service was on point. Super knowledgeable about the wine list, attentive without hovering, and the host up front really took care of us from the start. The ambience gives proper Italian dining energy. My sister and I went here for our Birthday dinner. Great food and great service. I wouldn't suggest my dish, Gene's Spaghetti, I wasn't impressed. I was trying to 'make good choices' but it lacked flavor. I sprinkled Parmesan to help it out. They offer bread for the table but I'm not a fan of focaccia so I won't be trying that again. My sisters dish, I think it's called Garganelli alla Calabrese, was delicious. They were even nice enough to give us a Bday tiramisu. I would definitely visit again to try a different entree. They have plenty to choose from. It's intimate, feels like old school east coast Italian vibes. As if Al Capone and Marilyn Monroe would dine there. If you're in the area drop in! read more

I was really looking forward to dining at Tres Lune--social media had set high expectations. We were celebrating my partner's birthday, which I noted in our OpenTable reservation, and finding free street parking felt like a good start. Everything initially pointed to a great experience. When we arrived, the restaurant was only about 10% full. That felt a bit concerning, though it was a weekday, so we gave it the benefit of the doubt. We were seated by the hostess in the "courtyard," which unfortunately felt more like a garage. The lighting was quite harsh, which detracted from the ambiance. Our server greeted and took our drink and food orders without issue. Unfortunately, after placing our order, service all but disappeared. Aside from a brief check-in during appetizers and AFTER we were done with our meal, our server did not return. We had hoped to order fresh share plates for our entrées, needed a water refill, and wanted red chili flakes, but there was no opportunity to ask. For a meal we were hoping would feel special--especially given the occasion and the prices--the lack of attentive service was disappointing and ultimately overshadowed the food. Because of this, I wouldn't return for dine-in service; it feels better suited for takeout. As for the food itself, there were definite highlights: the grilled calamari, cacio e pepe, beef carpaccio, breadsticks, and the Bella Passion cocktail were all delicious. The Caesar salad, however, felt underdressed and lacked in salt and acidity. The house focaccia with spinach spread was bland, and the lasagna reminded me of a more elevated version of Chef Boyardee--comforting, but not memorable. Will I return? No. Would I recommend it? Only to diners who enjoy a very slow, drawn-out meal with minimal service interruptions. read more

We had a late lunch here on NYE. It was raining and cold but the heater kept us warm next to fireplace. I liked the extensive and gluten friendly menu. Table focaccia was so yum. We decided on vegetable soup, Caesar salad, white wine clams, grilled calamari and spicy sausage pasta. Also sparkling water and iced tea as beverages. The food was so delicious in large portions. I especially liked the grilled calamari. The house made chili oil was so good. The weird thing was the service, our waitress was very friendly and warm to sit us at a cozy table. Maybe it was NYE so she just left after taking our order without any notice! We were left alone to eat our lunch the entire time! Bus boys brought out our dishes in time and we did enjoy the food very much. I really wanted a refill of my iced tea though. In the end hubby had to go get the bartender to give us the check! On Saturday 6/13/26 I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When my group and I came inside, we felt that we were treated unfairly and discriminated against by General Manager Ben and Francisco. The way we were spoken to and treated was noticeably different from other customers, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. We came expecting respectful customer service, but instead left feeling disrespected and embarrassed. No customer should feel singled out or treated differently because of who they are. Management should ensure that all guests are treated fairly, professionally, and with respect. I hope ownership takes this complaint seriously, investigates the situation, and provides additional training to staff and management to prevent similar experiences from happening to others. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

A fantastic new addition to the block. The chef is dishing out incredible plates. The bartender, staff and management are fantastic with the customers and since it looks like Gigi's is closed now. Ugh! This could be the new spot on the block. The cocktail I ordered was spectacular. I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes in a lemon sauce with capers - incredible! Everything's a little spaced out in the dining area, but once the lights came down, it tightened up the atmosphere and made everything a little more intimate. Will be back for sure! read more

My boyfriend and I decided to try Tre Lune Italian Restaurant in Hollywood. The location is great, but unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to our expectations. The restaurant itself could use some updating, and the service felt disorganized from the very beginning. Multiple staff members approached us before we even had a chance to sit down, look at the menu, or settle in, immediately asking for drink orders. It appeared there was only one waiter per section, which may explain some of the service issues we experienced. The appetizers arrived very quickly, but the rest of the meal felt rushed and poorly timed. Plates were cleared as soon as we finished eating, and even the bread was taken away before we were done with it--while our main dishes hadn't even arrived yet. We waited ovrr 30 minutes for our pasta, with no apology or update. When we finally asked, the waiter said the food was "being plated" and would be out shortly. When the pasta finally arrived, it was disappointing. It wasn't cooked properly, and although the waiter explained that their pasta is made al dente, this is not mentioned anywhere on the menu and should be clearly stated. After we expressed our concern, the waiter informed the manager, but instead of the manager coming over to apologize or address the issue, the hostess came to check on us. I was really hoping to enjoy this Italian restaurant, but between the rushed service, long wait times, and underwhelming food, the experience was disappointing. read more
