Stopped by Ford in Aiea to check out the 2024 white mustang and damn, I feel quality is just crap nowadays. The white paint job was covered with what looked like yellow pollen but was actually tiny rust shavings from the rail which was above and away about 20 yards. There was dirt in all the crevasses of the rubber lining and a massive pile of recently swept up dog shit right outside of the driver side door. The dealership just leaves the cars to the elements and apparently doesn't police up the property. For the high price of 50 K, you'd think they would take better care of it. My car seat broke. the Process was awesome. My associate was able to look at my warranty and actually found it is covered As my initial call to them made the warranty cut off time. It was pretty seemless and they even had the replacement part in stock. They gave a spot on estimate of time it will take. the car was in great shape upon pick up and they always cover the seat when working on it. read more

I've always had a great experience with dealers, even knowing they can be priced a bit higher than local auto shops. I've been using Ford dealers throughout the world since I purchased my car. This dealer will refuse to pass your safety until you pay to fix very niche things that aren't required to pass (I pass anywhere else on the island but here). So I learned not to come here for that. But then I needed to get my mirror fixed. I just needed one component of the mirror to get it done, I just wasn't sure what component. Went to the parts department where they tell me the only way to fix my mirror is to pay $1200 and replace the entire mirror, there's no other way to fix it with Ford parts. I was advised that I may be able to locate aftermarket parts. I thanked the team and went on my way. When I got home I started the search for aftermarket parts where lo and behold, Ford Parts sells JUST the part I need for $118. Not aftermarket, brandname. So I buy the part and fix the thing myself. While everyone at Cutter Ford is polite and helpful. This situation means I will never trust or return again. read more

They don't answer, they don't call you back and you'll be stuck not having that reliable service they promise. They need more people at simply directing calls or taking calls/messages. I am not happy right now because we thought we had great service. We got our car for infusion that we gave to my daughter in for a check engine light. We knew what the problem was but they decided to do a whole bunch of other stuff too like new brakes, new rotors New air filter fluids ended up costing us $1900 then two days later the engine light is back on again. They said they fixed everything. I am so pissed. I am trying to get a hold of them. Can't get a hold of anybody on the phone have to text them. They said they would call me back they haven't, trying to get the car back in and I am not paying one more dime for them to fix it after they said they fixed it and two days later the check engine lights on again this is ridiculous read more

I recently went to this dealership to shop around for a car. I was immediately greeted by Sage. She was so friendly and bubbly from the start. Sage took the time to ask me all the questions about what I wanted. I explained I recently lost my car to a drunk driver and I wanted to start fresh. I wish I could give zero stars. I have an F150 with oversized tires. I had called service for a shimmy in my steering wheel when going over 50mph. They created an appointment and told me they would rotate and balance my tires- they also said they would charge me more as they were oversized. I dropped my truck off and told them I would be back later to take their time. I was called about 3 hrs. later saying they were working on my truck and the tires were too big and they couldn't balance them but would "do their best." I got there at the close of the day and was charged the full amount-including the balancing that they "could not do." A few days later I spoke to the manager and he basically said "we did the job" but understood that they did not even attempt to balance the other tires and just put them back on the truck. I told him I shouldn't have to pay for that service, especially the "extra" for being oversized. He first agreed, then said he would call me back. I got a call about a week later- and they did nothing for me except take my money. Not even an offer of credit towards an oil change, nothing. Avoid this service center at all costs! There are other Ford Dealerships on this island. My truck will never see this shop again. I wouldn't even look to purchase from them if this is how they treat their customers.... read more

Took my mustang in for a safety recall for a malfunctioning backup camera. Took months for them to get the wiring harness they said it needed, and finally after 9 hours of them having my car they told me the wiring was replaced but it still doesnt work. And that according to the recall bulletin, thats all they were required to change for the recall to be completed. So while standing there waiting for them to bring me my car, i bought a replacement camera from ford online for $35 and switched it out in 10 mins. Works like a champ! What a shame these guys cant complete a simple task, and they wanted me to pay for another diagnostic fee and then charge me for them to fix it. What a joke!!! read more

Make sure if you lease a car from Cutter you take pictures to prove it is returned in good condition. We returned our car in good condition and low mileage the lease manager asked if we even used the car? It sat for 2 while COVID was happening as we had another car we drove. A month later I received a call from the leasing company Ally saying we were in violation of not returning our car. Which we had. That's where this started. To make a long story longer...............we got a bill for over a $1000.00 for damage to the vehicle????? It has taken since last year and over 37 phone calls to end up having to pay this or our great credit will be ruined. Ally says we need to prove it was in good condition which I asked "HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?" The car was returned and sold at auction. Cutter also was NO help. So our advice to consumers is deal with people who care about you as a customer and protect yourself when returning a car. WE have leased over 5 cars with Ford over the years and this is how they treat us?!!! BEWARE . Lastly I knew Mr. Cutter who started this business. My husband had an intermittent check engine light that would light up and go away every couple days or so and he conveniently scheduled online an appointment to have it checked after his process of elimination. Made sure the fuel was always above 1/4 tank, no damage to fuel tank access or fuel door cover, fluid levels were good, etc. I followed him one early Saturday morning so that he can drop his truck off for services. Waited with him until a check-in person collected data for our visit. When she asked why we were bringing it in (even after logging the problem online to make the appointment) my husband told her that the check engine light was on, but on his way in to drop the truck off, it was off. She then proceeded to tell my husband that there was nothing they can do for him. Wow!! I was confused and upset because I have never heard a check-in person make a final decision like that on a vehicle. Working with fleet in my job, I automatically took it as a biased comment. My husband asked what she meant because there is obviously something wrong with the truck, whether it be a faulty check engine light sensor or worse..you think the Ford dealer is the best place to take it to ease the problems we are experiencing...I mean, there are mechanics that are experts at these things, so we thought! But apparently the check-in lady knew better. She went on to explain to us that when the check engine light is no longer lit up that there is NO WAY that the diagnostics would pick up the error codes because the light is not on for the code to remain and for the mechanics to see that code. Well, that set us off because none of what she said made sense to us and we have NEVER received a response like "there's nothing we can do for you" from a check-in person who is clearly not a mechanic. I work and manage fleet for many years in California and here in Hawaii, never been told there is nothing we can do for you. Always had service where they will do all that they can to try and find the problem, and if no can, then I am pleased that they even tried. Well, in addition to "nothing Cutter Ford can do", check-in lady apparently told management that my husband called her a derogatory name, however...I was there and he did NOT say such a thing to her. He did raise his voice asking how to get out of there and did drive off angrily but did not call her names. Management took her word and told my husband that they will not do business with him anymore. Thank goodness because it actually worked out perfectly for us!! We found Honolulu Ford and I wish we went here since day 1! They were very informative online about check engine lights before we made the appointment! To avoid another rejection for a check engine light appointment, I called them and was told that they are able to assess any part of the truck related to the check engine light even if the light intermittently goes on and off. Appointment day came and 10 minutes into appointment time, I got a call back from my check-in lady and she was very professional to explain to me that the mechanics were able to identify that the check engine light was caused by a leak in the emissions valve that needs to be replaced. Viola!! Now that's customer service! They are close to my job and offer shuttle service too! Convenience is a plus! No-drama...PRICELESS! read more

Called me and kept me updated on my car and what was needed. She also got me the info on the part I needed. They have a waiting area inside but I had my husband pick me up so I didn't wait there but I did see a vending machine for those who have to wait while their car gets service. The service entrance in a drive thru with the words service on top . I pulled in and stopped when an attendant had me stop. They looked pretty busy. I should also note that I had an appointment. I am a Ford driver and have been for about 14 years. I've been pleased with their services in the past and especially with their care towards the customer. Cutter Ford has some hiccups with getting back to you, doing services on time and is apparently super busy for a lot of things. Their staff is kind and helpful, but it seems they have a lot going on. One of the positives for their battery service is that they have a 5-year warranty on your battery. About 3 or 4 times I had to come back to Ford to get my battery replaced. Cutter Ford has done nothing but disappoint me this year. First, came me trying to get a hold of the finance manager. After calling and calling, no answer, no response to voicemails. Finally get a call back for him to be unpleasant and unhelpful. Communication is clearly not a priority for this dealership. Then, comes my oil change appointment. THIS is my problem. I had an appointment at 3. I called to let them know I'd be running a little late because I had gotten off of work late. I understand that makes it inconvenient to the technicians and service advisors and was okay with rescheduling. But the woman I was talking to in the service department was rude, demeaning and argumentative. She told me that the reason they couldn't take me was because "an oil change takes 2 hours". I worked at a Ford Dealership in the Service department and I know damned well it takes no more than 30 minutes to do the works on a car (if your techs are trained). Instead of being understanding and helping me reschedule, she was arrogant, lying and didn't even bother to help me make a new appointment. Just a "yep so you have to make a new appointment. bye!" Andrea, Noell and Charley are amazing! I had a bit of a last minute emergency, recall notice would not allow my car to ship off of the Island. Spoke on the phone with Andrea from service who did everything in her power to help me. then I was transferred to Noell who then was able to see me in short notice have the technicians work on the car and replace the recalled part in about 4 hours. while the car was waiting to be serviced I was I was in the front taking care of some issues on the phone. I needed a shuttle to go pick up a rental car. Charley the sales guys who approached me said that due to COVID-19 restriction there was no shuttle available, but went above and beyond his duties offering me a ride to the rental car place at the airport. this has been my only experience with Cutter Ford but their staff is amazing, with everyone making sure that satisfaction is the main goal. My experience was disappointing and I know it's because my situation was probably too complicated or too much work. Maybe even little to no potential of making a sale to whatever sales rep was suppose to help me. I was told to come in at 9 on a Saturday morning but the rep called me at 830 to reschedule to 1pm. I live in Waianae so I was already on my way. I agreed to 1 because 9 didn't work for him anymore and I wasn't going to drive there to sit around and wait. When I got there he wasn't available and the person who helped me, got my information then told me I could go home because there were 3 people in front of me. Kind of frustrating because maybe if I kept the 9am appointment I wouldn't have had to make the drive all the way there just to be left in the dark. Aloha. I arrived today 4 April2020 to Cutter Ford service department for a scheduled recall appointment at 12noon. I arrived at 10am. I was advised by Noel Bylaadt that it would take approx 2 hours to perform the recall. I went inside to relax in the lounge. About 5 min latter Noel came inside and advised me that the service man wd work through his lunch break to try to get me out as quickly as possible. I told her thank you. Due to the fact that our state is on COVID 19 stay inside policy.. I went outside to get some fresh air approx 20 min later after speaking to Noel. I saw my truck inside the service area in a 100% ghost town. 2 people working only. My car sat in the same stall for 2 1/2 hours and no work was done on it at all.. Then I see the service man sitting with his child and significant other sitting next to my car inside the service area which is restricted to the public watching a movie. He was kissing his significant other which his child watched videos on the computer inside the service area. I stood there for 20 min. Then Noel went by to tell him he had 2 more cars to do.. he said ok. I then walked to the lounge saw Noel where she quickly informed my may car was completed. I went inside signed the appropriate paperwork and then went outside to have a word with the service man that "Worked" on my truck. I asked him what did he do to my truck.. he explained that he check the connector for my tail lights and that all was well and needed no replacing. I then showed him the receipt stating that he said he replaced it and all that is shown in the image above.. he stated that tea he did all that.. I told him to show me.. He stated that he could not because he would have to "lift" my truck to show me.. then I got on my knees under my truck and he indicated to.me where the connector was.. I saw it and noticed that absolutely nothing was done. He then asked me everything ok.. I shook my head in disappointment.. got in my truck and drove off the site. The only reason I am taking the time to write this review is because of this horrible worker. We are in times when people are NOT working and are trying to do everything to save money and stay inside.. I only made an appointment because I was called by CUTTER FORD on Friday to schedule this recall. I had no intention to be outside.. let alone deal with such un honest work done by this service man. NOEL the service advisor was really nice and professional. But this service man should be 100% replaced. He is Lazy.. dishonest.. and is charging FORD for stuff he is not doing.. I unfortunately wasted my 2 1/2 hrs of my time on a Saturday 4April2020 to deal with this ridiculous way of handling business. This is NOT how to represent FORD. This is not a worker who I'd ethical nor does he car about his job .. but rather is simply collecting a pay check while others are not working or are trying to find a job. 100% unacceptable I hope the management at this location reviews via camera the work that was "so called " done today by this individual. The 2-star rating is from two different experiences in one visit at Cutter Ford Aiea. Brian is a rock star! He received my vehicle at my appointed time and expedited the service to get me out of the dealership hours before the promised time...5-stars! Now, the person who drove my vehicle from the service bay around the building, which can't be more than 100 yards, changed every single adjustment possible! The driver's chair was pushed back, lowered and tilted. All three rear view mirrors were adjusted. Even the steering wheel was tilted-up. I did appreciate Ford for covering my seat with plastic and removed it before I jumped in, but it's been weeks and I am still slowly getting adjusted to the changes of my seat. 0-stars. I previously had my vehicle serviced by Vehicare in Aiea. The technician, who was at least 6" taller than me, drove my same vehicle from Mililani to Aiea to have it serviced, then back to Mililani to return the car to me and he did not change a single seat or mirror adjustment! Now, that's extreme customer service! Cutter Ford? ONLY if I am forced to perform a manufacturer recall, which is three in the past five years! read more

Bought a car and a truck from here and my brother bought both his trucks here. Basically wasted 3 hours Trying to do my safety check but didn't pass because of the tint, I waited and got sent back and forth between 5+ different people. No one knew what was going on, terrible communication. The sales man Freddie Galvadores didn't tell me when I bought the truck that it was illegal and I would have to jump through hoops to make it pass. If he was honest I wouldn't have bought the truck in the first place. They said they could scrape off the tint but they wouldn't re-tint it for me which I think is BS. The trucks not even that old under 30000 miles still has factory warranty, I've only had it for a year and 3 months. The Service man Dino was the only genuine person there that I felt like wanted to help me. TLDR: poor service, terrible communication, Dino is cool.
