Nice place, clean, and staff personable. But the pizza is HORRIBLE!!! They charged $27 for the pizza but it was more like an $8 pizza. Not even as good as frozen from grocery store.I mean the pie crust was awful and the topings were so skimpy you couldn't tell what you ordered. On top of that is tasted like slop. Probably the worst management of all time. Two weeks ago, on holiday weekend I tried to call for an order, this was at 5:30pm Saturday Their number was busy for an hour. decided to stop in and was told they had no pizza. They purposely left the phone off the hook, what idiots. I would have called another place. Tonight I called to order a pizza to go again, was told it would be an hour and a half before it was ready. By far the best pizza in SC if you like true authentic NY style pizza. I have tried many pizza places around here and there are some good ones but it's not authentic NY pizza. These guys nailed it. Super thin crunchy crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. We drive 40 minutes for this pizza and it's worth it! Order ahead bc they are very busy and have run out of pizza dough on occasion. That's bc they are THAT good! For whatever reason this place gets a lot of hate from some people simply bc so many people talk about how great it is on Facebook. Don't believe the negative reviews. Deserves 6-stars. Man , this is the pizza we've been waiting on for 40 years. The flavors are so explosive. The cheeses are fresh. Great dough. Likable staff. And a great price-point (2 slices and a drink of your choice, $8). It's always crowded inside , lots of tables , so there's always a place to sit as well. It's perfect. The pizza is just ....MUAH!!! I eat there for lunch 6-8 times a month. I travel 15-20 minutes out of my way, passing up a dozen other places. It's that good. read more
