This review is long overdue. But in two words, CV Plumbing is a: Life saver. Yeah, yeah. Sounds dramatic but you'd be, too, if you were in my shoes. I had two plumbers come in the day before the emergency. They were sent by my home warranty company. They did the inspection and told me I didn't have any outflow for the bathroom. Me being a new homeowner didn't know where they were either. So they left. There goes my $75. Night of, I did my laundry. Knowing full well my drain has been slow, I hoped everything would go smoothly. Well. No. Water started coming back up thru my shower drain and before I knew it, my converted garage started flooding. I needed to replace a kitchen sink and faucet and used Yelp to solicit bids from plumbers. CV Plumbing gave me a reasonable price and set up an appointment a few days later. He showed up on time and got started. He recommended replacing the valves, and charged very little extra for that. After removing the old drop in sink he saw that he was going to need to cut all 4 sides of the opening in the granite countertop, and then completely enclosed himself in with plastic to keep all the granite dust (and there was a LOT of it) out of the rest of the kitchen. After hours of grinding in the plastic stall, he did a super clean job with the new sink install and it works great! Affordable, tidy, punctual, efficient. Will definitely use him again! read more

His quote was one of the lower ones so I messaged him asking some questions and arranged a date for installation. He was very responsive and flexible as I had to change the date. He and his worker showed up promptly on the day and time we agreed. I ended up replacing 2 toilets, both valves, and asked to have several lines snaked. He even put a camera down the toilet line to make sure it was clear, and showed me there are a few roots that broke through the pipe. Throughout the job he would call me over to show me other things about my plumbing which I appreciated. They finished in about 2 1/2 hours and the price was very reasonable. I hope my reviews, even the unfavorable ones reflect that I try to give as honest of an opinion as I can without over exaggeration when I love or dislike a service or food item. That being said...Chris is the real deal when it comes to knowing his craft (plumbing) and being polite, honest and just a really nice person. Let me explain; My family and I originally called Chris for the first time last year, regarding a bathroom shower that for years had the whole house shaking from rattling pipes when the shower was turned on. We thought it was connected to old pipes needing to be replaced (something many plumbers over the span of "umpteen" years told us). Well Chris did the valve repair and Voila! no more rattling pipes! Still so happy about that. Recently, as in yesterday, had Chris come out for a stoppage in bathroom. When he came he did not detect any stoppage. He mentioned he easily could have snaked out the line, charged us and we would not have been the wiser. True.
