On a second business trip to Miami Beach I had to visit Ceviche 105 once again after enjoying the downtown location. I invited a business colleague because she was the one who recommended this amazing restaurant. I had to order the Paella again. It's too good!!! Again as before the food was amazing!! Savory, warm, and delicious. The service was amazing as well and Emmanuel helped us out. An astute server who gave us the specials and was attentive to our needs and made the meal so much more special and memorable. I enjoyed this location more because of the food and the service. Ceviche 105 is a def a go to spot for any clients while I'm in town and it's a definitive Miami Beach restaurant where you leave feeling satisfied and happy read more

We arrived an hour early from our reservation but we were seated pretty quickly. The server was friendly and attentive! The ceviche was fresh and tasty, but it didn't blow me out of the water. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu! read more

Very nice restaurant Ceviche 105 in South Beach, we was there for dinner and it was amazing experience. We choose Ceviche trilogy and it was so delicious, we feel like we are in Lima, Peru again, Lucuma dessert was amazing! Service and atmosphere was excellent! In conclusion, Ceviche105 is 5 out of 5! All I have to say is Arroz Con Pollo. Although they have expanded to other locations over the years. The quality hasn't suffered. This is the spot I come to when I'm in town. The team there is always attentive and friendly. The menu has a great deal of Latin staples and a few fancier versions. The seafood is fresh along with the presentation. If you're ever in Miami don't miss out. Que rico!! read more

Great place to try ceviche! Warning: their portions are ginormous. We ate the leftovers of our arroz con mariscos (aka paella) over 3 days after our dinner here. They have a wide variety of ceviche, including a sampler of 4 that's huge. I personally think this place is better for a group of 4-6 so you can try/share more and it's easier to do family style due to the large portions. The Mi Favorito y lo Dice Juan ($28.95) is this Peruvian linguine infused with basil pesto with an egg and breaded beef tenderloin or ribeye atop -- it was DELICIOUS. The arroz con mariscos ($21.95) came with a ton of calamari, shrimp, mussels, clams - I was really happy with it. Service was good but it took around 20-30 mins to get our check. I'd really recommend making a reservation; after we finished (around 7:30-8 pm) there was a long line of people waiting to get a table who didn't make reservations. Would definitely recommend coming here -- the whole block has a lot of busy dinner places and there's a parking garage across the street. read more

I was visiting Miami for the first time and I wanted to make sure I used my time wisely and select the best restaurants to try out. I came across this place after craving seafood all day and was truly impressed with my experience here. Yuri was my server and had provided exceptional service and really took his time with my party explaining the different options on the menu. I wanted to order everything Yuri suggested but I ended up ordering the tetra mixto ceviche which came with 4 of the restaurant's signature ceviches. Each one was flavorful and unique. The tostones was really good and filled me up. The sangria was really tasty and I wish I could have ordered more. The restaurant was pretty busy on a Saturday evening so make sure you call in advance for reservations. If I'm ever back in the 305, I'll be returning here and hopefully Yuri will still be around. read more

Came here with some friends to enjoy the famous CVI.CHE 105. And let me tell you this place was just great! from the casual, chic atmosphere, to the friendly serves to the food. Maria was our server and she was very pleasant in explaining the menu since i am NOT knowledgeable in Peruvian food, very informative, attentive to our table and such a sweet heart. I tried the traditional drink of pisco and was foamy with a lime flavor,also had the ceviche and whole red snapper with tostones. So worth it! What a wonderful night we had! Our server Jose A. made sure our experience was incredible. We had two birthdays in the group, and we had a delicious spread. The group's favorites were the linguini, the ceviche, and the seafood fried rice. Everything was so flavorful, and the service was extremely attentive. The pisco sours were strong but tasty. Delicious! We got the yellow fish ceviche and omg the best Peruvian ceviche I've had. The pisco sour was nice and egg white added a nice creamy consistency. The plates are huge and shareable, so we got one seco de res plate for two people and we still had some left over. The meat was delicious and tender. It had a very good flavor with the sauce, rice, and beans combined. For dessert we got the suspiro limeño and it was so good, sweet and creamy yet not too heavy. Very similar to a Cajeta flavor. Foods were good. I was lost when I looked at the menu so I asked their server for recommendations. They recommended us sth I didn't remember what was that lol but I asked the price where it was $95. It was a little costly, not quite worth that price but considering that was a tourist area and I asked the price and agreed, the foods weren't bad raw seafood tasted fresh so I still gave them 5stars. read more

First up, the decor and ambiance of this restaurant set the mood for anyone's food experience! It's art and culture blended together. Secondly, the dishes had very distinct tastes and for a first timer of Peruvian food, I was quite impressed by the bursts of flavors from each dish. In particular our seafood ceviche tastes nothing like the ceviches we've had in the past. This was so much fresher and tastier and didn't have that strong lime taste found in most ceviches. Amazing restaurant, there's multiple locations in the Miami area. The menu is pretty much fish, so if you're not a seafood person I'd recommend elsewhere. There's a lot of unique dishes. We went with one of the ceviche platters to start and red snapper for dinner and both were delicious. read more

Great food. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere. CVI.CHE 105 was our first stop when we got to Miami Beach, and it didn't disappoint. I wasn't sure how much food to get, so I ordered the calamari and octopus ceviche, thinking I might order something else as well. My friend tends to stick to typical American foods, so she ordered shrimp fried rice. Both were huge portions! We ended up sharing, and that was the best idea since we both got to try each other's dishes. Delicious! Fresh. Flavorful. Probably the best ceviche I've ever had. We couldn't even eat it all. Anthony M was our waiter and his personality won us from the start! He hooked us on the specials , gave great recommendations and Was very attentive to us throughout the dinner. Now for the food. Tacu Mariscos was AHHHMazing. The sauce was perfect. Lomo Saltado was a classic from Peru. The sushi reminded my of my last visit to Peru. I was down in Miami on a work trip and my girlfriend was able to join me. After reviewing our dinner optuons, we finally decided on Cvi.Che 150. We had seen some great reviews on yelp, and had noticed that they had won all kinds of awards. Cvi.Che did not disappoint. The food was spectacular we had a special that included 3 different types of delicious Ceviche, as well as oysters and lobster tail. After polishing off their signature ceviche dishes, we also decided to try the red snapper. This plate was phoenomenal. A fried red snapper stuffed with fried calamari and shrimp. It was complimented with a house made tartar sauce and a side of diced onions, tomatoes, and cucumber. All of it was awesome! But the best part of the meal was our server Emmanuel. He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Most importantly, he was enthusiastic and genuinely excited about the food that they served and knew exactly what drinks to reccommend! 5 stars easily! read more

I love the food at Cviche 105, always will, but the hostesses always ruin the experience when you're trying to sit. I asked for a table for 5 (1 being an infant) outside, which seemed perfect because there was clearly one table free. They said that that table wasn't available (it was not reserved) because it didn't sit 5 people. It had 4 empty chairs, and a small infant chair could have easily been added. There was also a table of 4 taken by one person. Just weird and a turn off to go there anymore. The last 2 times I've tried to go something odd always happens that is evidently solvable but they just...won't do it? Odd. Foods delicious, but the sitting situation is obnoxious. read more

When I requested the Lamb Gyro, the server pointed to an entree on the menu for me to approve. I made sure there wasn't another (re: pricier) offer. There was... it was the one he suggested. The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside). They certainly weren't cut fresh from a spit, as they were old and nearly tasteless. The included slices of onion and peppers, delegated to the pita bottom, (instead of intermingling) barely helped. The French fries (included in the price) were the most flavorful part of the meal; although, they were an insult, rather than accompaniment to the experience. And, was that Latin (instead of traditional Greek) music coming from the speakers? Along with a 20% "Administrative" fee, I won't be tempted to venture in again.

I have been going to Ceviche105 for years. As a local, this has always been a staple for my boyfriend and I. That changes tonight, unfortunately. I'm not one of those people who writes nasty reviews just to write them, and if I'm writing one then it was a truly negative experience. First off, we ordered a FISH ceviche which we confirmed was fish several times, spicy. The server gave us the mixed ceviche (costs more), no heat, and came with a nice rotten sweet potato. My partner shrugged it off and ate it anyway, staying away from the rotten sweet potato. No big deal. We were grossed out by the rotten sweet potato but didn't want to make a big deal because we visit all the time. He ordered a lomo saltado entree. It came out in good time and it looked good BUT from the first bite, he could tell that something was off about it. He cuts into the second piece of meat and it was completely raw. Not rare, not even Pittsburg rare, but R.A.W. He tried with another piece and found that that piece was raw as well. Finally, we wave our server over and very nicely explained that it was inedible; no one would want to eat raw meat like that. Without a single word, she takes the plate away. This is where our experience went from two stars to one very fast. She didn't ask if he still wanted the dish (he didn't), the manager who was lingering by our table never once stopped by to see what was wrong or to apologize, and when she brought out the new dish, all of the meat was burnt. I'm not exaggerating and I'm not trying to be a "Karen" but that meat was charred. When the server brought our check, not only did she charge us for the ceviche that my partner didn't order, but also kept the lomo saltado on the bill. The manager lingered, didn't say a word to us, and that was that. No dessert, no drink, not even an apology. Considering the times we are in, I would have thought that restaurants on SOBE would be more careful with their customer experience. They lost two loyal diners tonight, and considering we're local and went there almost every weekend, took our visiting friends there, went there for birthdays and happy hours, that's no small thing. read more

Nice Ambiance, but Uninspiring Food As someone who appreciates a pleasant dining atmosphere, I must say that the ambiance at this restaurant was nice. The decor was a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, when it comes to the most important aspect of any dining experience - the food - I found myself rather disappointed. The menu offered a variety of options, but unfortunately, the execution fell short. The dishes lacked the creativity and flavor that I had hoped for. It felt as though the chefs played it safe, resulting in a rather uninspiring culinary experience. The presentation was OK however, the flavors were bland... Odobo and way too much cilantro at best. I started with the appetizer, hoping it would set the tone for the rest of the meal. However, it was forgettable at best. The main courses were equally disappointing. The dish lacked depth and complexity, leaving me craving more flavor. The portion sizes were very good, but that alone couldn't compensate for the lackluster taste. The service, on the other hand, was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the dining experience. Unfortunately, even their excellent service couldn't salvage the overall dining experience. Considering the price point, I expected more from this establishment. While the ambiance was certainly a highlight, it's unfortunate that the food failed to live up to expectations. I left feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place with a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a drink or two, this restaurant might be worth a visit. I asked for some Rocoto sauce and wow! Your welcome taste buds! A traditional tiradito will have that thinly sliced fish literally MELT in your mouth...so fresh, tasty...Chulucanas lime juice mixed with ají limo is like no other! Finishing our "leche de tigre" that was left on the Tiradito plate with a spoon is a MUST! Don't forget that! As we finish the last drops... here comes our plate of "Mi Favorito, ¡ Y lo dice Juan!" Hands down. The. Best. How is it possible for the creamy sauce of basil, spinach and cheese to taste this good and for the consistency to be so perfect! Our churrasco was cooked medium-well... Speechless. At this point I have no other words, you want to eat as good as you would in Perú? I just wanted to take this moment to and time out of my day to say that I am grateful that quality of food and quality of service can still be operated and given at the highest of levels to patrons... The Cviche experience that my family and I had, was the most astonishing dinning experience we have had in quite some time. The environment itself is conducive to keeping you there for hours on end.The food presentation as well as quality, portions, temperature of the food was perfect and you can tell that the standards of this establishment are geared to catering the expectations as well as the needs of the customer.The staff is unbelievable in regards to courteousness, promptness of service, appearance, and professionalism. One server in particular " Lily " exemplifies exactly how a gourmet food establishment will remain in business by offering up superior unforgettable experiences as my family and i witnessed and experienced. Lily, was most professional, but extremely knowledgeable regarding any and all things inquired about or requested. Her eager willingness was most refreshing to have us feel like true guests welcomed there and not like another customer just waiting to eat some food. CVI.CHE 105: A Taste of Peru in Miami Beach I recently had the pleasure of dining at CVI.CHE 105, a Peruvian restaurant located in Miami Beach. The restaurant is known for its creative and fresh ceviches, as well as its other traditional Peruvian dishes. I started my meal with the Ceviche Clásico, which is made with fresh fish, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and leche de tigre. The ceviche was perfectly cooked and the flavors were absolutely delicious. I also tried the Causa Rellena, which is a dish made with mashed potatoes, tuna, avocado, and hard-boiled eggs. The Causa Rellena was also very good and the flavors were well-balanced. For my main course, I had the Arroz Chaufa con Mariscos, which is a Peruvian fried rice dish made with seafood. The Arroz Chaufa con Mariscos was very flavorful and the seafood was cooked perfectly. I also tried the Ají de Gallina, which is a Peruvian chicken stew made with aji amarillo peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. The Ají de Gallina was also very good and the flavors were very bold. I finished my meal with the Tres Leches, which is a traditional Peruvian dessert made with three types of milk. The Tres Leches was very sweet and the sponge cake was very moist. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at CVI.CHE 105. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very inviting. My wife and I have never been to a Peruvian restaurant before, and oh boy, what a great place to experience our first. I was recommended by a friend about this place and thought it might be a good idea to try it for our wedding anniversary. We were nervous about what to order or even if it was the right choice to pick this place over many other restaurants on Lincoln road. But as soon as our waitress, Laura León, came over to share the menu, we told her we are new and don't know what to order. She treated us very professionally and made us feel at home. Based on Laura's recommendations for drinks, I ordered Margaritha, and my wife ordered special Sangrias. My drink was so smooth and refreshing that I ended up ordering three mores throughout our stay. For the main course, I forget the name of the special we ordered. But, it was a mix of fried calamari, scallop, mussel, clam, shrimp, white fish, and octopus that are all sauteed in a special house-made sauce (again, I forget the name of it.. lol), and finally, lobster on top of everything else. It was so good and delicious. Finally, to make our night even more unique, Laura recommended their special desserts, which were at the time "Cheesecake De Lucuma" and "Trilogía De Sabores Peruanos A La Cuchara. I barely ever write reviews since, I am also in the service industry. I used to like this place very much and have gone to the downtown location many times. Now, not so much. I came 10 minutes before 10:30 when you are officially closed. Sat down just to have a glass of wine to relax outside before my long Uber ride home. The restaurant had plenty of people still eating and drinking. I caught eyes with many staff members and they chose to ignore me. Now, I get it, you may have thought I was going to eat or stay all night, but you could have said... "hey! We are about to close, if you were thinking of eating!" Which I wasn't... the lady finally came to me at 10:32, when one gentlemen finally told her I wanted a glass of wine. She said, "sorry we are closed" I explained that I had been sitting there and I wanted a quick glass and close out. She looked at me as if I had five heads. this same lady saw me and caught eyes with me the whole 12 minutes I was sitting there. very bad to treat someone like this over a glass of wine, which I wanted to close right away anyway. I get it you wanna go home, but I wasn't going to stay past the 30 people still there with food and drinks. Easy money for the establishment.. and you would have kept a customer for the future. I went to the Lincoln Road location last Friday night and also last Saturday night. When I am in town, I generally like to eat here. However, I always keep my fingers crossed that I do not get a Male Waiter, because their Male Waiters are absolutely useless compared to their Female Waitresses. So, on Friday, I got one of their Long Tenured Male Waiters which has waited on me in the past, I believe he's been working here at least 3 years now; and as usual, all he did was take my order and then try to collect my payment; how strange that he said the tea was not ready even at 5p, he neglected to bring me their popular peanut mix, he neglected to bring me a knife for my steak; and at one point, got in a corvette and drove off; this guy is disgrace, he's friendly, but a lazy disgrace. So, I returned on Saturday, and demanded a Female Waitress, and so I got a Female Waitress which I believe her name was Doddie, now wow, she was superb, and provided great service. The food here is always hit and miss, sometimes very good, then sometimes not that good. So, if you go, demand a Female Waitress; I have other bad experiences with their other Lazy Long Tenured Male Waiters, so don't think for one second that this was a one time bad experience. I recently visited Cvi.Che 105 for dinner and had a mostly positive experience. The atmosphere is fantastic with amazing decor, and they sometimes feature live music which adds to the vibe. For my dinner, I ordered the Conchas Chalacas ($28+) - Peruvian scallops with fresh chalaquita Callao style - and El Ganador ($25+) - a mix of white fish cubes, shrimp, scallops, leche de tigre, and passion fruit. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted excellent. The portions were satisfying, and I appreciated the complimentary crispy plantains and corn snacks. My server was helpful in recommending dishes, which I appreciated since dining solo makes it challenging to try multiple items without over ordering. However, I was surprised to find a charge for Evian water ($6.95) on my bill that I didn't knowingly order. Water was brought to my table in a bottle, but I assumed that was just their standard service. The server never mentioned it would be charged, which felt a bit misleading. On a positive note, unlike many Miami Beach restaurants, they don't automatically add 20% gratuity to your bill. Aunque mi esposo es un poco intolerante al monosodio que es un ingrediente fundamental en la preparación de algunos de los platos de la gastronomía peruana, en nuestra segunda visita nos complació mucho la sinceridad de nuestro mesero Emilio,y su profesionalidad al recomendarnos platos a los q era posible quitarles ese ingrediente. todo estaba delicioso,la atención fue excelente,hay pocos restaurante en los que los camareros trabajen con tanta profesionalidad y amabilidad como la de Emilio. Why do I keep trying to give this restaurant a chance. This is it! They can take their nasty attitude and bad customer service and keep it. I took my puppy and had her on my lap seating outside, ordered appetizer and drinks and then the manager came over and they told me I had to place my puppy on the floor as I could not keep her on my lap. They said restaurant policy. Really. When did this happen. Remember who supported you when you were a mom and pop restaurant. I have eaten on high end restaurant with her and never had a complaint. Remember the way you treat your customers is the way they will not return to you. I hope Juan Chipoco remembers his loyal customers that because of me that gave him support he is now we're he is and that he just lost a loyal customer and all family and friend will never step in one of your locations again. As you become bigger your customer service and food will start to decline like it's doing. Go eat where they will appreciate customers and be grateful for selecting your restaurant. If you are looking for that go somewhere else cause they don't give a crap about you and only your money. Bigger restaurant have fallen and your time will come. read more

We had an absolutely fantastic lunch experience at CVI.CHE 105 in South Beach. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere set the tone -- vibrant, trendy, and full of energy. The hip décor added a stylish, modern vibe to our meal, perfectly matching the lively spirit of South Beach. Our server, Joanna, was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, she guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and suggested we try two standout ceviches: the Ceviche Da Vinci and the Ceviche El del Barrio. Both dishes were incredibly fresh, bold, and bursting with flavor -- a true celebration of Peruvian cuisine. We also ordered the Lomo a lo Pobre, a hot dish that came out perfectly cooked. The beef was tender, the flavors were rich, and the presentation was beautiful. It's the kind of dish that makes you want to come back just for another bite. Best Peruvian food and service that I've had the pleasure of experiencing! When they welcome you, they mention that you are about to embark on a Peruvian culinary experience.. and it's so true!! The food is exceptional: I HIGHLY recommend the Fuente Pacifico Juan (4 of their best ceviches) and the Pulpo Herradura (Peruvian Grilled Octopus)!!). The drinks (lychee martini and passion fruit pisco sour) are unique, delicious, and generous. Lastly, the service is the best that I've experience throughout my 2 week honeymoon through Miami and Key West. If you get chance, ask for Alberto. Alberto answered all of our questions, weaved a beautiful story of food, passion, and culture; and made wonderful recommendations. But more, he was highly personable and kind. The restaurant is COVID conscious outside and all wait staff wear masks and gloves to remain sanitary. The managers and hostesses also wear masks. Although farther than your tourist traps on Ocean Dr, I absolutely and unequivocally recommend and implore you to take the short journey to Cvi. Che 105. read more

It was our vacations. My fiance and I were walking on South beach. It suddenly started to rain and we just ran in to the first place close to us to escape from the rain and why not, have a bite in the meantime. When we stepped in, Rose and I looked at each other. We were delighted for delicious smells. Amazed for the classy decoration and so pleased for the attentiveness of the whole stuff. We were wondering what kind of food this place serves? Peruvian cuisine? what to order? Everything looks so amazing and delicious but we didn't know what to order! Than, our waiter John C. approached to us in the most friendly and polite way to explain to us everything about peruvian cuisine and the tradition behind it. With just a couple questions he found out the perfect plates for us. I enjoyed a "Corvina a la chorrillana" while Rose had a " "Tacu locro sebass & camarones escabechado" It resulted the most amazing eveninig, full of satisfaction. This place is to die for! My friend told me I had to stop for at least the pisco sour and the cviche. I finally went in this past weekend! Lily recommended that I try the cviche ganador and it was FANTASTIC! A bit spicy but it gave itself a nice kick. In the midst of the south beach heat, the pisco sours quenched my thirst! To switch things up, they have different tropical flavors! The passion fruit was delicious but for first time you have to try the traditional pisco sour too. The lomo saltado seems to be very popular but I LOVE mushrooms. Lily recommended a dish called "chipoco ironman." You get quantity and quality for what you pay for. The filet mignon is so tender, sautéed with the mushrooms. Great recommendations! Great service! The place is beautiful. Great bright colors with a modern look. There is a wall made up of real plants! Great place for selfies! It's right off Lincoln road where all the shopping stores are at so you can walk off all the food you eat! read more

This is a must-visit spot for seafood lovers when visiting Miami! The atmosphere was lively and the staff were friendly and attentive. My first time in Miami was made even better by the delicious seafood dishes we had at this restaurant. Highly recommend checking it out! Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The seafood was absolutely fresh and cooked to perfection. We started off with the ceviche, which was tangy and flavorful, and the octopus carpaccio, which was so tender it melted in our mouths. My girls and I decided we had to check out this place before we headed to the airport and I'm so glad we did! First of all the drinks were so DELICIOUS, strong, and pretty. Second, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The manager even stopped by to make sure everything was going well. Saving the best for last, the food was absolutely AMAZING. We had their ceviche with their award winning sauce. You must try! No false advertising there. The sauce was an orangey color with the perfect amount of spice (we ordered it spicy). You can choose however you want it. Then the Lomo Saltado was so juicy, tender, & full of fragrant from the onions. Writing this is making me salivate. The arroz chaufa de marisco was also a delight except a tad salty to me. But they were very generous with the amount of seafood that was put in the rice. I can not find a negative to this restaurant. The professional staff always make me feel like the most important guest of the day. Most recently, Laura Leon was fantastic. The ceviche tastes incredible. I also recommend the Aji de Gallina. I travel to Lima a few times a year and always dine at the top restaurants there. I find the same quality and craftsmanship here in this one. This is a place to wow out of town guests and to turn people on to the tastes of the amazing world class Peruvian cuisine. If I could make a recommendation to the wine list, would be to add more South American wines. In fact, Peru's wine scene has come along way in recent years. I would love to see the addition of some of Peru's Natural Wines, such as Albita de Ihuanco, or Mimo wines, which I think would greatly compliment the dishes at this establishment, although I am unsure of how easily exported these specialty wines would be to obtain here in the States. read more
