On top of this, this particular location can take all day to fill a prescription that's come in. If it's called in at 9am, it won't be ready till EOD, around 6pm., or the next day.

It was a quick and easy process getting set up with Walgreens. They made an account and ran my insurance and I was in the the pharmacist within minutes. He had a pleasant and friendly manner speaking with me warmly and naturally about my new home purchase and the experience he and his wife had purchasing their home. I was in and out in about 20 minutes give or take a few minutes. I also got coupons for the store because I got my wellness vaccines! I'll come back here for my vaccine needs in the future.

This store is HUGE with a bbq restaurant, floral area, bakery and sushi area and much more. It was such a joyful cruise though the store. In addition, they have abundant free parking underneath the building. One unique feature I have not seen at any other HEB or any grocery store for that matter a conveyor belt for your grocery buggy. A gentleman put his buggy on the conveyor belt and he took an escalator down and they arrived on the bottom floor at about the same time. I marvel at advances in technology! Yes, I understand that I could have gone inside but there was only 3 cars ahead of me. Who knew 10 minutes for each car almost. Then I got to the window and understood why 10+ minutes for each car. I had to repeat my birthday 5 times until the person got it right. I offered to give my drivers license at the 3rd try. NO response. Then 1 RX was rang up from 3. I questioned why only 1 rang up. She stated they could not find the other 2 and were looking and to "chill". Ok..... Then they had to "resticker " one of them and had to do the transaction process again. Now the machine was over heating as well as my car. With gas prices the way they are, idling this long, I need a gas gift card. Then once everything was done I was told "you can leave now" before my receipt was even printed. IF I had the time I would have gone inside and asked to talk to a supervisor. This was crazy and I have never had an issue with HEB like this in the pharmacy. The cashiers inside are very rude for the groceries but never in the pharmacy drive thru until today. The store has been significantly understocked across the board most of the time. So many products are locked up behind glass unnecessarily. You have to wait quite a while to get someone to open the case because they are understaffed. That in no way reflects that professional attitude and helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately, my sister's new insurance isn't covered at CVS for the vaccines needed (BCBS!), the the pharmacist called her in advance to let her know and she was able to schedule at Walgreens, which did accept her insurance. I showed up to my appointment on time and after a few minutes wait, the pharmacist was able to assist me. It was a quick process, and while I can't say it was painless, the pharmacist did a wonderful job and was very nice. They even have snacks available while you wait a few minutes after your vaccine(s), to ensure there are no reactions. I tried the gluten-free blue corn chips and they were good! All in all, I was done with my vaccine and waiting period in ~15 minutes, and ready to head about my day. Unfortunately, shots still hurt, but at least I know I'll be better protected! The gentleman at the front was also helpful in helping me check out with my items, since my $5 off $20 coupon wasn't working at the self-checkout (pro tip, you get this for scheduling your vaccine with CVS!!) and he was able to figure it out. All in all, this CVS was clean, well organized, well stocked, and everyone I interacted with was friendly and efficient. Thank you!!

This is definitely the only medicine I will get from this company since no one else seems to have it.
