The best pharmacy I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Called on a Friday midday to check a prescription availability and the woman who answered immediately knew what I was talking about, which is a rare occurrence in the five years I've been taking this prescription. It was in stock, she placed the order and it was ready within an hour. It was amazing to have someone treat my prescription with such urgency and importance. This is the FASTEST I've ever gotten this prescription in the several years I've been taking it. The customer service over the phone and in person was excellent to top it all off! The one hour drive is worth it to me, in the time it takes me to get there, they are still faster than any pharmacy in my area! read more

Everyone writing reviews about the wait time is 100% correct. Day one of my prescription saga had me in the drive through line. I believed 30 minutes was enough time to get through 2 cars in front of me but I was apparently mistaken. 25 minutes went by and no one had moved at all. It was like going through an incredibly painful Time Machine where I wasted 30 minutes of my life. Day two I was feeling hopeful, I got there at 1:15 maybe and grabbed toothpaste inside and went to the pharmacy counter, I was greeted with a long line of people that... shockingly ... barely moved. With one woman in front of me I was brimming with joy that I would finally leave the death trap that is this CVS when someone behind the counter looks at me and says "Ma'am it's 1:30 we are closed for lunch, we open back up at 2". I could have actually exploded in righteous fury then and there. I have an autoimmune disease and I have more medication than I would like, I am at this CVS all the time unfortunately and this is not the first incident. It is consistently a harrowing journey to get any kind of service and these last two days are the straw that broke the camels back. I am in incredible pain and need my pain medication and my business and prescription will be satisfied elsewhere. read more

I detest writing 1 star reviews. I hate when you you review these as you don't know what to think. I really dislike them, but in the name of warning you: I have shopped here plenty of times before for quick items. It is close to my work location, sort of. There is plenty of competition. It has never been my favorite one as it just seems less cared for. This trip was for a birthday card. The store seemed busy as I made my way to the cards. The selection seemed great, but almost none of the cards I found had envelopes! That put me to searching for one that fit and off to the register I went. No one at the main registers up front. No associates anywhere to be seen. Thus back to the pharmacy to check out there where a line of 21 people stood (I counted). I waited for 5 minutes of no movement and then headed back up to the front. (I had decided if none there, I was dropping the card and going to the competitor across the street.) As I get to the counter a store associate has just arrived and checks out someone ahead of me. Then the phone rings and he answers it. Off he goes to go check on something. After a couple of minutes and I'm now ready to drop the card, he returns and who ever was on the phone has hung up. He checks me out and off I go; likely I will not return. read more

I got here at 129. They close at 130 for a meal break. I get that but my Rx was done already and it was free. This was not the regular pharmacist.. She was helping someone b4 be. Then turned to me and said I had to wait 30 mins. I have 2 kids home with covid and im a widow. No husband to help at home. I get they had to close to eat but I was here when I was supposed to be 129. Wouldn't have hurt them to give me my meds. I'm worried about being away from my kids at home with COVID. It truly is the worst pharmacy. I don't know what is going on and COVID is not a pass. Look at the reviews Pre-COVID. Disorganized. I have to tell them how to run things through the insurance so I don't get the outrageous prices they quote me at times. Clearly I want to pay the lowest amount so if it is GoodRX or manufacture coupon or insurance you guys should know that no I don't want to pay $150 for something that is free with a manufacturer coupon. People are nice but can't place my finger on how an operations can be so incompetently managed. Don't get me started on the long crazy lines. I get anxiety anytime I have a refill bc I really don't know if I will get it. I drive by and if there is no line I do a wheelie going 50 mph into a wall just to make sure no one gets in front of me. I shouldn't be this doubtful about someone's ability to come through, but I am. When you can't rely on your local pharmacy who can you actually rely on? This industry is getting disrupted. Possibly the worst pharmacy ever. My doctor was on hold for over 20 minutes to call a script in and then apparently it takes them 3 hours till full the script. I have given them 4-5 chances and every time it's this way. Go across the street to Walgreens and save yourself the headache. read more

This is by far the worst CVS I have ever been to. I put in my prescription order online 12/19/2019. Came inside on 12/20 due to there being 10 cars waiting in line. There was an additional 6 people waiting inside in line at the pharmacy counter as well as 10 at the front checkout so I left. I returned on 12/26 only to be told they did not have my prescription ready and to return in a half hour. I waited an hour and came back and was told they did not have it in stock and only then did I receive a text that it was 'on order'. I finally received a text on 12/27 that my prescription was ready. We arrived 12/28 at 3:00 pm and have now waited in the car line for 30 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of us. There is ZERO reason that an asthma inhaler should take an entire week to get filled. My review is 100% accurate and honest. This CVS is broken and is in desperate need of help. read more

Takes forever to get prescriptions filled here, and it was impossible to get a covid booster shot here even with an appointment because I had misplaced my vaccination card- I went across the street to Walgreens, they looked me up on some database and I got the shot without any further problem. The CVS in Coppell on Denton Tap and Parkway is so trashy. the parking lot is full of trash & looks like they not been cleaned in a long time. The pharmacist there charges extremely higher prices than other pharmacies. It should be illegal. If CVS has a corporate office I will be reporting that to them also. We pay high taxes here in Coppell we should have clean drug store to use. read more

The only reason they are in business is that they serve the Western side of Coppell. The one on MacArthur/Sandy Lake on the Eastern side is far more cleaner, better operated. Best way to know this is the worst CVS in DFW: Just look at the ginormous pile of the unlabeled and unclassified mess of pharmacist filled prescriptions they sort through when you get there. It would be unacceptable in a typical US pharmacy, the institution of cleanliness, but not here. read more

Worst customer service. Had 3 appointments and when we got to the window they said it will take 10 min to log into the system and get setup. Then the lady had the audacity to tell me to park my car and come back so she can serve the customers behind me - basically longer wait for me so she can serve other customers. Total hypocrite! Also they tell u to park do the rest and come back - they don't realize that Covid-19 test takes 30 seconds at the most, why make the ppl move? I have had hard time accessing the box afterwords because there was a huge truck/SUV at the window or the small car was parked so close to the window that dropping the specimen was very difficult. Zero stars not available. This establishment being in a wonderful city like Coppell is a complete travisty. Expect to wait. And wait for an extremely long time. You won't feel patient or the depths of valuable customer service coming your way. You will age while you wait. And when it's your turn, EXPECT them to have a complication or most likely, a failure in your order. Drive through? No. You have better odds of walking to Mexico and back to get your meds before you'll get through this "drive through." And again, the order will be wrong. Got a student in town? Don't send them to CVS for anything. Walk in with a backpack and enjoy being "profiled" or instructed rudely to remove it and to leave your valuable stuff unattended. This place is a joke. The amount of pain we have because one of the two of us is forced to go here by insurance and we know that there's an upcoming prescription destroys the need for the actual prescription because this environment and management, and complete failure of customer service causes you additional ailments. We will drive further to a different CVS to avoid the abysmal nonsense that occurs here daily. Good riddance. Call them? Laugh maniacally. "For better customer service, we're taking on messages." This is quite possibly the worst pharmacy chain. They cannot get any prescriptions right. You would think that something that affects someone's health and well-being would be important to them. They were supposed to transfer a prescription from Walgreens and we asked them if they need the dosage to transfer and they said they didn't. We went to pick it up, brought it home and it was the wrong dose. Surprising. We never had to check if they were correct with Walgreens, because they always got it right. This is akin to coming home with a McChicken instead of a Big Mac. I would wager their level of IQ, neglect, and customer service is on par with McDonalds workers too. (no offense to McD) We only started going here instead of Walgreens because of insurance, but I think we are going to have to find something else, it's not worth the headache to work with such incompetence. read more

THis is one of the worse CVS around. I waited 5 minutes for somebody to acknowledge me at the photo section. There was one cashier checking out customers. I came in for a passport picture taken, a manager finally see me. He told me to wait so I waited. After 15 minutes of observing them helping out every other customers except me. They helped customers that came after me. I was steaming and threw up my hands like really?? I stormed out of there so angry. Never got such bad customer service in my life. Service is super slow - don't come if you're in a hurry. The folks at the counter are nice so I tried to cut them some slack. But this one is fully stocked with whatever your needs are. Make sure you scan your coupon card before checking out so you can save a little money! They are always running specials! I do still have a little soft spot in my heart for Walgreens but this one is convenient and often times they have great deals - 89 cents for softsoap! read more

Man, I've really had it with this CVS location, the pharmacy in particular. I don't have any meds, but my wife does, so I've had to pick them up a few times. I'm usually "greeted" by a gruff Indian guy in a labcoat who looks like a runway model wannabe (seriously... cut your hair). Anyway, he's always rude and gives me dirty looks like I'm inconveniencing him for asking him to put a few pills in a bottle. What really gets to me though is their whole process for fulfilling prescriptions. When we first started getting drugs here, it literally took them weeks to finally get everything squared away with my insurance agency (the reason ended up being that CVS got her birthday wrong by one day). Bad start aside, nearly every refill since then has been a pain. Does it matter that my wife doesn't have enough ER-preventing meds to get through the day? No, you need to get through all the red tape and wait for the doctor to return one of CVS' lazy messages. Also, TWICE they have given my wife meds labeled for a three-month supply, but only two months' worth is in the bottle. Then, when she goes back in for a refill, they say she has to wait a month because she had three months' worth. Seriously makes me want to pull my hair out. The rest of the store/staff is OK, so I'd give them two stars for that, but I'd advise going elsewhere for your drugs. We're planning on switching to Kroger or Walgreen's. read more

My son needed medicine so it was called in by the doctor. When I arrived, they said that they were out, but I could get it at another CVS across town. It would have been nice to know beforehand, but OK. I go to the other CVS and they have to call to get it released so they can fill it. I hear her talking to the other pharmacy. They tell me an HOUR and a HALF. That is not good with a sick kid that needs meds. We go to get gas and dinner then come back an hour and a half later. They tell me that the other pharmacy still has t released it! Going on 2 hours now. C'mon CVS. Get it together. My kid needs meds or I would have been long gone. Choose Walgreens. read more

Such a bad pharmacy. There are constant issues with their system that cause errors. Most recent one is today. Employee:"Your prescription wasn't filled because it's new." Me: "No, it's not new. I have gotten it filled here every month for at least 10 months." Employee: "Well, it's a new dr." Me: "No, it's the same dr. I have always used." I went to take a Passport size photo and should say the manager of the store who took the photo was a very rude person. He did not even bother to show me the picture despite of me asking him twice. He just behaved wierd and very rude. When I said I was not satisfied with the picture taken,he did not even bother to hear me and got the photo printed. I had a coupon that I printed from CVS website which he said does not work and gave me no reason why he would not take it. I totally lost my cool and just paid the money and left the place.
