The worst CVS I have ever been to! The pharmacy needs to stop making promises on when a prescription will be ready. Almost every single time I come here Allen or Ann tell me my prescription will be ready in 10-15 minutes and it's ALWAYS 30-45 minutes! I can understand if this would happen a couple of times when they are busy but not 100% of the time. At least be honest with how long I need to wait so I can go run some errands while it's being filled. Also a ton of items are always out of stock in the wine and frozen departments. I have come to this store for a good number of years but only on days when a smaller pharmacy that used to be around was open. And now is one of my primary pharmacies due to it being close to my house. It is generally okay. I have never found them to be rude. As for wait time, I don't really pay attention to them because I always go when I have a good chunk of time open. I would normally rate them a 4, but I find with the new COVID-19 precautions set up that it is an OSCENE VIOLATION OF MEDICAL PRIVACY when you have to YELL your name and birthdate from a distance of 6 feet with a full plastic barrier from floor to ceiling that the pharmacy techs cannot hear through and through which they in return to YELL all your medication and instructions and answers to you questions through because you cannot hear them clearly either!!!!!!!. read more

Why I like this CVS: It is close to my apartment. It has a minute clinic which I am a fan of because I hate going to the doctors and when I have a minor illness/issue I utilize minute clinic because the wait is minimal (side note: I used min clin once when I didn't have health insurance and the nurse practitioner was great. She looked up various drug costs to make sure she prescribed something that wouldn't break the bank). The pharmacy is friendly, quick and efficient. I will no longer be using this pharmacy anymore, they made a HUGE mistake- They gave my boyfriend the WRONG PRESCRIPTION, it didn't even have the MY name or my medication. . This is the only CVS I go to, and I've been using their pharmacy for years. The good: in terms of the store more generally, things are always in stock. The pharmacists take time to explain new medications, are really personable, and have always been so nice about dealing with any insurance/billing issues. The bad: the way the store is set up, it always feels like the next person in line is listening to you. Paranoid? Maybe a little, but I wish the consultation area afforded a bit more privacy. I was surprised to be profiled to say the least!!! I was killing time in the makeup section waiting for a prescription. I was sick and in my street clothes which I'm sure they see often since the pharmacy is next to a doctors office. I was browsing in the makeup section while carrying my big purse. I kept hearing someone announce over the intercom that help was needed in the makeup section. After about the third time I looked around and I was the only one there, I didn't ask for any help. I proceeded to browse and the announcement came on at least three more times. Once I picked up my prescription I asked for the manager to express my displeasure. He stated the announcement was simply to let him know there was "someone looking at make up that might need help". That was definitely an excuse because that's how I kill time every time I wait for a prescription at CVS and I've never heard that announcement before! To be honest I don't even wear drugstore make up it's just not for me but it's a great time killer! This Pharmacy is completely incompetent. I had a procedure completed at Hoag. I promptly called my doctors office to send in my prescription to this CVS. Which they did at 9:00AM. I was released at 10:45 AM and headed to this CVS to pickup my prescription. I was told that I would need to wait 15 minutes. Not a major problem as I ALWAYS have to wait at this Pharmacy even after I call the prescription in. I returned 15 minutes later. I was told to come back at 1:30 PM due to the fact the Pharmacist took his/her lunch. I promptly called my doctors office and moved my prescription over to Ride Aid (across the street). I had my medicine in less than 10 minutes. After this review, I am completely done with CVS. read more

Came in the evening to purchase items and was expecting to use a coupon that I was given from the store associates themselves due to being part of their members club. Apparently our coupon did not match our account which is extremely odd since the employees had given the coupon to us in previous transactions same account. Just moved here and my bf had his 1st prescription filled here. We pulled up to the drive thru at 5:35pm on a Sunday. The girl working the window said to pull into a parking spot while she verified his insurance. We sat for 20 minutes. He walked back to the window and there was a guy there that said "Just a minute." So he sat in the car for another 20 minutes. He finally walked into the store and the pharmacy had closed! The store manager had to call the pharmacist back to get the freaking nasal spray. The pharmacist said, "We would've called you but didn't know your number." You're the ones who told us to park and wait in the car just go outside and get us! I was asked to take my 18 month old granddaughter to the "Minute Clinic", which I had never heard of, for a possible ear infection. I got to the pharmacy and asked a young man "where's the clinic"? He pointed to some chairs that said "waiting area". Then he mentioned it won't open until 10. I was 20 minutes early. So I sat with the sick baby waiting till 10. She got restless, so I stood up to walk her around and when i turned the corner there were several people on line in front of a computer signing in for the "minute clinic". Even though I was 20 minutes early, I now had a 45 minute wait. Then my GD threw up all over the carpet by the clinic. No one offered to let her go ahead, including the nurse. So we sat some more. This pharmacy has given me the worse experience ever!!! I turned in a prescription for a very sensitive treatment which i was supposed to start this month, now thanks to thei ineptitud I won't be able to have my treatment done. I waited for 4 days for my prescription to be ready and after i went to check on the status i found out the prescription was never even entered in their system and they never took the time to contact my doctor to confirm the drug dosage. At the end they didn't apologized or filled my prescription instead they told me they don't have that drug on stock and they don't plan to get it any time soon. I was looking for some antihistamines because of nasal issues and the pharmacist recommended Claritin, as I had expressed concerns about not wanting to feel drowsy as a result of taking them. I was told that second gen. antihistamines like Claritin don't cause drowsiness. The first couple times I used them, they seemed to work really well, but the next couple of times, they were not that effective. The pharmacist was correct in that they did not cause me to feel drowsy. I would say that this experience at CVS would not discourage me from returning or from asking their pharmacist for another recommendation. read more

So disappointed in how this location has run its covid testing. I was in the ER Sunday with something serious and not covid. So Monday went to fill scripts given in Hospital. Too sick to go inside so got in line and come to find out after being in line Monday and Tuesday for 30 and 45 mins, the line was for Covid testing. So those of us who needed scripts waiting and waited. No way to get around the cars stuck in line to even drop off a script. Several folks were irritated and left.the line was done the parking lot. Also dangerous. Horrible communication with customers. No traffic guy telling people where to go. No large signs explaining anything. No one was in line for meds and those who were couldn't get them or drop off scripts for two days. Now my script is expired unless I leave my house right now at 9 pm and fill it at a completely different CVS farther from my home. I am irked. Betcha not one of those tests were accurate anyhow. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This pharmacy is way over their heads and can't handle this at all. And this is not the only issues in the last 3 months. Many issues with this location. I am disappointed. And the main pharmacist has an attitude several times. He seems very unhappy with his career path. read more
