This is what I ordered for CVS..I said powder and candy....I forgot about the eyes drops...
Derrick D.

I went in to the CVS on Market Street today. I was waiting in line. I had placed an order online. It was ready for pickup. Now I am a stroke. My speech is not the best. So I went into the CVS with the email. Showing the order number and my last name. I was there and this young lady was asking me what did I oder. I said that I remember ? My name and order number: 436267180 to an associate at the checkout counter at the front of the store." This is the text message that I had showed her and she kept asking me what was I did I buy? As I got more upset. She said that UPS and pictures had ordered number. I would hope that CVS has different numbers for UPS and pictures? She kept on talking at me about how she needed to know what was in it. NOW, I gave her the order number. The same number is on the bag and my number. This lady didn't know me. I could have been some unstable person. I kept telling her that this was "bullshit" and she said that it was not "what I just said" so I left and asked what her name was. She said Christy or something like that. Now, I am setting here with my online order. Now, was I wrong? I went to there showing her my text message from CVS with my name D.Dennis with my order number 436267180. I told her both. Someone please tell me what I did that was wrong? She kept asking me what did I oder? I told her some powder and candy.. but the bag has staples on it. What if I was not the person who ordered it. I told her to go by the number that I gave her. She read my text message from CVS.. This is the last time that I will go to this CVS. I have had problems with this store in the past. So, very unprofessional service. This employee needs to be retrained and to keep her mouth closed. She was antagonisting me. I am 57 years old. I don't appreciate some little child playing with me. (This happen 6/25/2022 around 1:30ish). I am going to miss this CVS. It's open 24 hours a day. But I can get treated like crap anywhere..but at least give me a reason to be treated like crap. I am done with this CVS!! I may cancel my awards account. Anyway...

Signs to pull up for Covid-19 drive thru testing
Kas M.

I came here for Covid-19 testing. The process was pretty easy. I was able to schedule a quick appointment online via cvs website. I drove up to the tent. The representative held up a sign with a telephone number to call which is how he & I communicated since the window had to stay rolled up. He hands the test via a brown paper bag with all supplies on a stick. He guided me on how to take the test which was placing the swab up each nostril & placing it in a vile, packaging it up & placing it in a bin. An email is sent to register on the cvs health account for results to be sent. The parking lot was a bit dirty & unwelcoming but other than that the representative took his time on explaining the instructions. Simple, smooth, easy process.

A long CVS receipt.

I'm officially never going to this CVS again. I went to pick up a prescription and the pharmacy is pretty good about getting the line down fast so while I was in there, this guy and a young lady had a very loud verbal altercation over something about the restroom, the altercation was over pretty fast, but no store security responded. After getting my Rx I got infamous long coupon receipt and decided to take advantage and use some of the coupons. Everything I wanted to buy was behind locked glass. So now I would have to go up to the checkout ,request someone to come unlock the case and then wait for who knows how long for help. It's almost demeaning! It's not like this in nicer neighborhoods which by the way I'm going to transfer my Rx to. And besides all that the parking lot is filthy.

4 months expired... realized after I ate the whole bar -_-

Now y'all... let me brag on Chris over at Walgreens for a minute…read more As an event planner, I'm always creating something -- party favors, decorations, keepsakes -- and Walgreens Photos has become my little secret weapon. I'm in there all the time printing custom designs, running behind schedule, juggling ideas... just doing the most. And every single time, Chris is the one who brings the calm to my chaos. While I'm over here thinking about ten things at once, he's steady, patient, and cool as ever -- the kind of calm that makes you slow down and breathe a little. He doesn't rush you, doesn't make you feel like a bother, and he always makes sure whatever you're printing comes out right. In a world where good customer service feels like a disappearing art, Chris shows up with kindness, professionalism, and a whole lot of grace. Walgreens, hold on to that man. He's the reason folks like me keep coming back.

This pharmacy just provided me with the most unprofessional, disrespectful and disgusting customer…read moreservice experience of my life. The pharmacist has a nasty attitude and absolutely zero people skills. I was told my medication would be filled today and called to confirm. She scolded me for not knowing there was a shortage (even though I confirmed two days prior that they were be able to fill it). She spoke to me like I was absolutely deranged and crazy for expecting my medication to be filled on time. When I asked if I could get a partial refill, so I don't have to go without my medication (it's now the weekend and my doctor isn't in office to write a new prescription), she made me feel like an idiot for wasting her time when she could be counting the inventory. "I need time and I can't get started if you're still talking to me on this call". After 7 years of using this pharmacy, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This review addresses the CVS pharmacy and retail store experience nationwide. We used to have…read moreseveral choices for pharmacies across many cities, and the local, independent pharmacy was often the best choice. Today, however, finding a local pharmacy is difficult because so many have closed. Furthermore, the management at the remaining stores isn't like it used to be--familiar and friendly. Most of the major store pharmacies, such as Walgreens and Rite Aid, are being closed or absorbed by giants like CVS. CVS was usually my last choice because it was often expensive, complicated by their ridiculous coupon policies, and staffed with unfriendly associates. I've asked several people, and they agree with these criticisms. Now, we are left with essentially one option: an unfortunate oligopoly. I will continue to write about CVS and the state of this industry.

I had been to the area several times and gone to the stores nearby, but it was the first time noticing CVS! Shades of Christmas: I was excited when walking around the store and saw different shades of Santa Claus, angels and other holiday items, it looks so festive inside! There were so many cute ornaments too!! Loved it, as I love the holidays! CVS is definitely ready for the holidays and the diversity in products made the visit even more exciting! Thank you, CVS, you truly make a difference!! Customer Service: The minute I stepped up to the self checkout, a woman came up right away and helped me get started, thanks again! Free parking as well in the huge parking lot, shared with other stores nearby! (Trader Joe's, Home Goods, Ross, Ulta...!) Overall: Great location, diversity in products, friendly customer service, and holiday ready! Score!

I happened across Rite Aid's El Segundo's Grand Ave. location because I couldn't find parking in the area to meet some friends next door at The Standard Station Sports Bar & Grill, and my Catholic guilt got the better of me. I always made it a habit whenever I parked at a business I initially had no intention of visiting, I would go inside and make a small purchase as a sort of "payment" for parking on their premises. Now that my conscience was cleared, I quickly reflected on the company's recent bankruptcy filing news. The company that took over Thrifty's decades ago was now on its seemingly last legs. I've had fond memories of both companies, so this visit was kind of bittersweet. Was I all right with this particular location before its demise!? PURCHASE Resse's Pretzels Miniature Cups 9.9oz Bag ($5.99): I was a fan of all the yummy sweets throughout the Reese's brand, so when I saw this in the nearly-empty Halloween candy section, I grabbed it because it sounded good and it was the last one so it looked sad there all by itself. Once I finally tore this bag open and shared it with my friends, each tiny cup was packed with crunchy pretzel pieces covered with smooth peanut butter and delectable chocolate. It was as good as expected - yummy! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=LVCD_bwXBXM5UDwLiU72KA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE Because I had no idea what I was going to purchase before I entered, there was no need for any customer assistance. As I whizzed through the store, I came to the candy aisle and my decision was made. I quickly went to the self-checkout counter, paid, and I was out the door in minutes. I saw one employee serving Thrifty's Ice Cream, one cashier, and one other employee stocking the shelves. All was good! PARKING (FREE) Located within the Grand Park Plaza, they were on their own standalone corner and had their own private lot with a ton of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A medium-sized building that was clean and organized inside with easy directions and labels for each section along with spacious aisles. The pharmacy was at the very back, the refrigerated and frozen coolers also along the back and side walls, the ice cream counter up front close to the registers, and a surprisingly assorted well-stocked liquor section. A decent amount of natural lighting came through the front glass windows and doors while plenty of soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights covered the rest. I didn't recall seeing any TVs but Top-40 music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=xxKABnVWyX0xms7iHFED6A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL El Segundo's Grand Ave. Rite Aid location was perfectly fine for my needs although probably wholly not theirs. On my quick casing of the joint, everything was kept clean, organized, and what you'd expect from any other Rite Aid if you've ever been in one. And, they still had Thrifty's Ice Cream, so buy it now while you could! Honestly, I had no idea how long this location would be around since the bankruptcy, so I wished them the best. The prices may be a touch higher due to convenience and economies, and you may not find all the brands out on the market but possibly lesser-known ones. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $6.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
