Went to pick up my prescription after I left the MD appointment. This was at 4:24 pm. They called it in prior to me leaving. Ended up leaving the pharmacy at 5:38 pm. I'm going to go on a limb and say that the pharmacy itself was extremely slow because they are understaffed. The girl kept telling people they were busy. Yes, this place is busy, and there was consistently at least 3-4 people waiting besides the line of cars in the drive through, so why only have one pharmacist and one person manning the register? If there was adequate staffing, it would not appear to be as busy. I woud imagine a pharmacy pulling all these prescriptions from big pharma and such can afford to pay for adequate staffing to meet the demands of the pharmacy. The ridiculousness of having one pharmacist and one staff to man both the drive through window, the in-store counter, and administer COVID vaccines is astounding. I should have had my RX filled at the Bellflower/Stearns CVS. They are so much faster during regular business hours. Save the Los Coyotes location for the middle of the night prescriptions. EDIT: Oh, may I mention there is a sign at the counter that all new meds must have a consult with the pharmacist. Why? Because it's the law. That did not happen with me with this new prescription I just filled here. With the "busyness" going on at this pharmacy, it wasn't offered. Horrible Customer Service. Lazy employees. I went in to buy something behind the counter. It was placed with a price tag lower than what was scanned. I asked if that was the actual price and the cashier had no clue. Said prices on app are different, which is false for at least this item. Then another woman came and said prices probably went up due to tariffs . Lady, no, not in one month. They had no clue. I then asked them to show me how I can look up my purchase history in the app and they refused to help me, until i finally figured it out myself. Turns out scanned price is correct, but placed with incorrect price tag. The price for this item was the same I paid a month ago, so yeh, take your bs political "tariff" narrative and keep it to yourself. Rude, zero knowledge, horrible customer service. read more

They told me that my one page document wouldn't be ready for over an hour and kept trying to send me home to come back later even after i said i needed it for my class in half an hour. When I say worst I mean worst pharmacy organization there is. I had a pharmacist lie to that they submitted a Prescription to be refill to only come back the next day to find out I had no refills and when the tech or clerk in the pharmacy asked me who told me I had refills left. I pointed out the pharmacist she had the pharmacist come to me and told me to confront them about what they told me the day before. When I say the worst 24 hour pharmacy, this is the worst. I would not deal with them if it was not 24 hours I recommend anybody that goes to this pharmacy to go after 8 PM even midnight because that shift have more customer service. Most of the female pharmacist during the daytime have attitude really don't want to deal with you. I had just had ileostomy surgery and a pharmacist held up my prescription for my pain medication rejected by the pharmacist until they talked to my dr. Even though my previous prescription was from a PC and my new prescription was from a surgeon. I was still not allowed to get my medication & had to go to ER for them to only submit the same medication to the pharmacy and stay in the hospital 24 hours because I told him the pharmacy wouldn't give me my medication. I end up getting my meds from the hospital before I was released; when I tell you the worst they are the worst. I wish the pharmacy that I prefer to go to was open past 7 PM, but they are not and they are a little bit more expensive but at the end of the day better. They call my doctor. They'll call me. They text me when my prescription is ready. CVS wants to do everything through the app but yet the app doesn't offer any resolution if your prescription is not ready or there out of stock they tell you it is pending working on it. They don't tell you it's out of stock or when it would be back in stock nobody calls you and say hey your prescription is out of stock when I tell you the worst pharmacy it is. I only tolerate them when I have to. read more

Closed at 12:30 on a Friday night when their posted hours are 24 hours a day. In that 5 minutes I waited there, there were about 10 others who drove up to see it's closed as well. This has happened multiple times and shows how little CVS cares about customers that may depend on their store as being one of the only 24 drugstores in the area. read more

Sandra the cashier that worked the night shift around 6pm tonight is very rude. I kindly asked her if she didn't mind canceling my few items and ringing them up again so that I could redeem points/coupons with my CVS membership and her response was "do I mind, but I'll do it any way.." and continued to nag about canceling the order. I found her response very unprofessional, unpleasant and unwelcoming. I thanked her and wished her a good rest of the night, hoping it would uplift her mood but she for some reason continued to display a negative attitude towards me. She made my shopping experience at CVS very unsettling and unpleasant. Why is it so hard just to be kind to each other? When running into cvs to pick up a few items after work you shouldn't be meet with snarky attitudes from cvs employees. They should not take out their personal issues out on customers. read more

All I really have to say is that this is a typical CVS and leave it at that but I'll go further and say that I take a med every day that's not typically in stock and has to be ordered. You would think that when a pharmacy gets a prescription sent to them from a doctors office that they would just assume that it needs to be ordered if necessary and filled. You would think wrong. I have had several poor interactions with the pharmacy specifically, including when I was asking a question, was hung up on. This location needs to be held accountable and after today's experience in trying to refill a prescription, will no longer be a customer. The last two times my doctor sent my prescription to CVS, they claimed it was "back-ordered." They told me to call back after 3 when my physician's order came to them at 11 AM. If I ask any specific questions regarding a time frame, they say it is out of our control and that I should call other pharmacies to find out if they have my prescription in stock. Their disdainful attitude clearly communicates their lack of concern for the customer. If CVS had to be accountable for the horrific service as a smaller business, it would have gone under long ago. This pattern has been consistent for years, but I am switching this time for good. read more

If not for the convenience of a 24 hour pharmacy and drive thru there be little good I could say for this store. Calling the pharmacy is almost impossible. After jumping through the automatted attendent, you basically get a "we have "x" number of customers ahead of you, please hold" response from a person who immediately puts you on hold. I was on hold for 20 minutes and then got hung up on. I called back and got another please hold and waited an additional 10 minutes. I finally got a live person and they begin talking to in store customers or other personnel, not giving me undivided attention. I realize service people are under a lot of pressure, but they should have enough staff to service their customers. I know they are probably short staffed and under a lot of pressure with a lot of dumb customers, but they should be a little better than this. Essentially 30 minutes to call in for a refill. read more

Don't go here for the pharmacy unless you want to do more work than you need to. Getting prescriptions filled should be a fairly easy process...but not here. I've been getting a prescription filled for the last few months and every other time there is an issue. The big two mistakes on their end were - they gave me the wrong amount of pills once and someone called me a week later and asked me to count out my pills "oh I'm sorry I have 8 more pills for you". More recently they marked the date incorrectly on my refill and I had to call 4 times on 4 different days until someone caught their mistake. I got the run around and looking back it sounds like they just made sh*t up - "this was for 42 days, you should have more pills left" "your insurance doesn't cover it til this date" So I've had to go weeks without my meds because someone put in the wrong date. One thing they're good at is letting you know when their lunch hour is - posted everywhere and when you call. read more

WORST LINES TO PICK UP YOUR MEDICATION- inside the store & outside in your car!!! I've been coming to this location for over two years and it gets worst every time! If you're able to go or start with another pharmacy, I highly recommend you do! Wait times range from 30min to 45min!!! Also they just change your calling option ....you used to be able to call and talk right away to a pharmacist. NOW, you call and have to leave a message so they can call you back in hours for you to talk to someone!!! SHAME on this company! Whatever happened to customer service. The store is fine but the pharmacy is ... ugh. I end up standing at the counter waiting for someone to at least look at me, but no one even says "I'll be with you in a minute". Ten minutes later someone finally helps me out. This has happened every single time I've been there, so it's not just a one time experience. They must be understaffed because they often seem rushed and stressed, no time for customer service, and barely look you in the eye. DO NOT DROP OFF PAIN PRESCRIPTIONS HERE AND EXPECT THEM TO ACTUALLY GET FILLED...YOU'LL END UP BEING SERIOUSLY IRRITATED BY THIS STORE'S INCOMPETENCE. I dropped off a prescription for some pain medicine on Monday 11/30/20 and was told to call on Tuesday to see if they would be able to fill it. When I called on Tuesday, I was told that they (cvs) had none of my medication come in and to try back on Thursday. When I called on Friday morning I was again told that none of my medication had come in and to call back on Tuesday (today 12/8), I told her that I was almost out of my pain medicine and she (the pharmacist) said she would put me on the top of the list for Tuesday. When I called today at 1pm, I was told to call back at 4pm to see if it was filled. Again I called, only to find out again that they couldn't fill my prescription, this time it was on back-order. I asked how they could help, because I only had one pain pill left and was 2 months into a 6 month recovery from spinal fusion and was in serious amounts of pain. NOTHING, was what they could do, NO, they couldn't call around to other cvs's to see where else I could fill it. I had to have my wife go to the cvs and pick-up the prescription and to drive around and try to find another pharmacy that could actually fill it. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! read more

Wow I can't believe this CVS pharmacy has such low reviews, this is by far one of the better CVS pharmacies I have been too. Based off the pharmacy itself, I think that all the pharmacists and pharmacy techs are really nice and helpful. I always get the reminder for my flu shot during the season, and the pharmacist is the one who administers the shot for me. Anytime I have new medication, they ask if I need a run down for the medication. This pharmacy is 24/7 so you can get your medication filled anytime of day. I believe there are only two CVS locations that offer 24/7 pharmacy access. The front store usually has a long line, so if I'm picking up medication; I will check out at the pharmacy as well. If not, I don't mind the wait in the front. The front store staff are also really friendly. If ever there is more than 2-3 people in line, I always hear them do an overhead page for assistance with the line. One thing I really like about CVS is that they no longer sell cigarettes. As a store trying to promote health, they ditched the cancer sticks and replaced them with nicotine patches and things to help quit. That is something I can definitely stand by. I also enjoy their deals on everyday products. I also enjoy their extra bucks that sometimes you get back from shopping. read more

Every time I get a different answer about their policies. I feel like each one makes up their own rules. So I call as they suggest which takes a minimum of 10 minutes on the phone to be told that the last information I was given was false. This has happened both in person and on the phone and about 2 separate matters. On onw subject I was given at least 3 different answers. Anywhere but here. This building is only few years old, but I don't think they have ever cleaned anything. It doesn't give you confidence waiting in line at the pharmacy to see how dirty and unorganized the place is. The indoor/outdoor carpet is disputing. Please sweep or run a vacuum or at least pick up the big pieces of trash on the edges. At least a half dozen pieces of old sticky gum in sight. Don't even get me started on all the trash in their parking lot. To be fair, this may be their landscaper problem, but since there is only dirt and no plants, I doubt they have any work done outside. Pharmacy closed from 11:30 to noon. I've seen better places in third world countries. read more

Can't stand people gossiping and getting my prescription today I noticed "Lily - inventory specialist" made a comment about how the team is good right now but that someone else ruins the sort of "flow" they have going? I don't know nor do I care to hear that. . gossiping in general is wrong, for someone of that age to be doing it intentionally while they should be working and they aren't or greeting customers is a pretty bad look.
