I had an appointment at the Minute Clinic at 11:10am on Sunday, June 25th. I received the text message saying the pharmacy would text me when my prescription was ready. After 4 hours, I decided to call for an update; no answer. I go to the store at 4:30pm (they close at 5:00pm). The man working was nice, however he informed me that my medication was not in stock and had to be ordered. It will be ready tomorrow. No one called to share this with me. He apologized. Today I called after 3pm because again, I've not received any communication from the pharmacy. The woman I spoke to was also nice. She said my prescription is ready. I tell her yet again I received no phone call. She apologized and then advices that I call some 800 number to see why I'm not getting text message updates. The customer service is sub par. I pray I don't need prescriptions often, but I most certainly won't be returning to this location which is unfortunate because it is close to my house. They can and should do better. read more

The employees in the pharmacy are a JOKE. Literally I have one question, and I was on hold for 30 minutes then they picked up I said hello, and they hung up on me. I called again for the same thing I was on hold then they took me off hold I could hear all the others patients personal information I kept saying hello then someone grabbed the phone and hung up . Now I know about 7 patients personal information. Wow . So much for security over here guys. The absolute WORST customer service from the pharmacy. Came to this CVS because it was the only pharmacy- I tried everywhere, other CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid- that carried an extremely time sensitive prescription. It was for post exposure prophylaxis- an antiretroviral that prevents HIV from copying itself in your body after an exposure. The drug must be taken immediately after an exposure in order for it to be effective. I arrived to the pharmacy 4 minutes late. At 8:04. The pharmacy gate was rolled down and you could see the pharmacist and the tech behind the gate beginning to close. When asked if they could help me, they absolutely refused. The tech looked up and said no were closed. After I explained that my Rx was extremely time sensitive and that it was PEP, he, nor the pharmacist could care less. Pharmacist couldn't even look up from what he was doing. Couldn't go ask if it was even POSSIBLE to help me. When I asked the pharmacist if I was to be able to find the Rx at any other pharmacy, could they retrieve the Rx from CVS. I got a blunt NO WERE CLOSED. I was FURIOUS. I spoke with a manager who could tell I was clearly upset and at least he (a younger guy- very nice.) had an empathetic tone and apologized. But nonetheless, nobody even TRIED to help. They act as if once 8:00 hits, the system shuts down, the pharmacy world comes to a close , and everyone can go %#?* themselves. Heartless and goes contrary to what a pharmacist is there to do. I hope karma isn't too much of a bitch to them. I would hate for them to be in a desperate situation and need help from a "care professional." read more

CVS advertises free prescription drug delivery due to the coronovirus and mandatory self quarantine, but the catch is you to orovude a credit or debit card to qualify for the service. I gave neither, I'm in the high at rusk group due to my age and being hospitalized for pneumonia and staff infection in my lungs less than one year ago. That's nit being very compliant and demonstrates discriminatory practices. I will leave to get my medication but I will file claims for discrimination against CVS fir refusing to provide me with a free service due to my current situation and lack if credit or debit cards. read more

This CVS is well organized and very clean. Probably one of the best ones I've ever seen. So much nicer than the other one in downtown. I normally don't review chain establishments but, this location deserves a well earned shout out. The line moved quickly, service was friendly and store was clean. I couldn't ask for more. read more

This is the only CVS or big name pharmacy I can handle going to. I have some difficult meds to fill and they always treat me with respect and dignity, not like a gutter hype when I'm trying to get my ADHD meds filled like other pharmacies do. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Absolutely the worse service I live across the street so this is my local CVS I come here at least once a week. First off I asked a worker a question once and he looked at me said "no I don't know" and walked away. He could of asked someone else or checked. But he absolutely refused to help me and I said something to the manger and they did nothing about it. Also I use CVS once a month for there film development services. They LOST 3 films rolls of mine. LOST memories. NO HELP. called customer service at the store, customer service was not helpful. So yeah overall they suck. There photo counter is completely disorganized like nothing is filed correctly, loose on the counter and I even got someone else's photos in my folder. So sorry to whoever that person was because now your photos are mine and that totally defeats the purpose of privacy. read more

I love this CVS layout. Tbh I usually come in this location to buy makeup, why? The beauty technician at this location is AMAZING. Aside from being the sweetest girl ever, she is always on top of putting on display the newest items she is being sent ASAP. I can honestly say that as soon as I hear that there is a new item coming out, this location will have it out already. If not she is nice to talk to you about something similar ORRRR when they probably will have it in stock. Staff here is very polite and attentive. Kim Sanders at this DTLA location was indeed God Sent! I came in approximately 10am this morning & did not realize until 3pm that my IPhone was missing. I had a friend call my phone and Kim immediately answered & told me that she had my phone in a safe place and that I could come back and pick it up. My IPhone was worth $1000 & extremely important to me so I tried to offer her a monetary reward to show my appreciation for her honesty. She refused! Kim really made my day so much better, not to mention she was so sweet, kind , and helpful when she greeted me at the register this morning! There are not many people that would have done the same in her situation. I pray the right person reads this because, Kim's integrity and honesty should not go unnoticed! read more

I come here all the time this place always gives really great service even though it seems extremely busy it's a great place to stop to buy some quick pick ups if you're in the area this is a safe place to go. read more

Awesome cvs. I work at a CVS in West Hollywood so I know what is expected from the employees that work there. The employees at the CVS do a really good job at making sure you get what you need, they're very good at asking people if they need any help especially when they were confused or keep walking back-and-forth from Aisle to aisle. Overall good customer service and they have a decent amount of product. Just like my store they're pretty small Cvs compared to other CBS's so you won't find all of those unique products that you might like to use if it's not a mainstream brand. But for all your essentials they definitely have it and they have some other stuff that's nice. There are two CVS is in the downtown LA area this is definitely the one you want to go just because it's so new and clean. The other CVS that I believe is on seventh Street is a lot older but it is a lot bigger so is this CVS doesn't carry it's most likely the other one on the seventh Street well. The CVS is also located very close to a Whole Foods a Dunkin' Donuts and pretty close to the Ralph's as well. read more

I've been taught that if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all. So, you will find that most of my yelp reviews will be all 4 and 5 star ratings. So here is a good example. This CVS is one of the best drug stores downtown. I'm not saying anything bad about the other drug stores downtown except this one is one of the best. Super clean. Has the most inventory and selection of everything. Really great staff and the last time I went there my receipt they gave me was good for 1 item at 40% off on my next visit. After my bad experience at the Walgreens on the corner of Hope and Grand , I vowed never to go back there. When I went to my Dr to get a prescription for an EpiPen he asked, should I send this prescription over to the pharmacy I have on file? I said which one do you have for me? He said, Walgreens. I immediately said, "HELL NO!"; please change it to CVS on 8th and Grand. So glad I did because the pharmacist there and her team were AMAZING!!! If you live in or around the downtown LA area and need a GREAT PHARMACY and PHARMACIST I highly recommend switching to this CVS. Angel, the pharmacist, was professional, knowledgeable and went out of her way to find discounts for me. In fact, she did and I didn't have to pay anything for my prescription.
