Pharmacy hours are supposed to be until 6 on Sunday. I tried the in-store pharmacy at 5:55 to get medicine for my infant son. They had already closed the security gate. So I got in line at the drive-thru, before 6. The pharmacist took 10 minutes to service the car in front of me, and then just closed the screen at the drive-thru and left, even though there were multiple cars in line! Absolutely unbelievable. I've never been a fan of this CVS. I only go here cuz it's close to home/ convenient for things I need on the go, but other than that the Pharmacy sucks like always! Whenever I drop my prescription off, they never get it ready when they say they will, so I end up waiting longer for prescription that should of been done HOURS ago. I always start my reviews with 5*... -1 star for stock availability If there's a good sale, good luck finding the items on the shelf. Yes rainchecks could be an option, but that's not why I go in there in the first place -1 star for pricing They don't update their sale tags. What the tags say and what you pay might be different. They have commented "That is not on this week's ad" "Check the weekly ads" and "We are only human" when prices at registers are not what displayed on the shelves -1 star for lack of system knowledge They refuse to take electronic coupons that CVS sends out periodically. They can't scan or type coupons printed from coupons.com etc. -1 star for CUSTOMER SERVICE - THE WORST Seriously, don't work in retail business if you don't want to provide customers with decent (I'm not expecting superior) customer service. Their cashiers are mean, rude and unhelpful. They would speak to each other, and manager in foreign language, in front of you, when you ask a question or raise a concern. It's almost as if they are talking about you, rudely. It might not be the case, but how I could I tell if I couldn't understand what they say, and their tone is nothing but sarcasm. I went yesterday for my flu shot with my nine-year-old boy. He had gone the day before and said that it was painless. When we arrived, he pointed out the pharmacist who gave him his flu shot. Pharmacy is awful here. Came here once to return recalled medicine and they argued with me about the medicine being recalled. I had to show them proof that the recall only listed product name and no serial numbers. Normally the pharmacy is slow. And product prices are always unclear because things are not put in the proper location with their price tags. read more

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff is impolite and irresponsible to put it mildly. So many bad experiences here it is not even funny, not exactly what you need when you are sick and trying to get some medicine, or any other time for that matter considering there are other places one can go to get their rx filled. That is why I don't go here anymore despite the fact that they are one of the few places that has a drive thru. Horrible costumer service! I will not be coming back. Waiting in line was a mess they waited until there was 10people in line before a 2nd person came. On top of that when I went to check out the lady was rude and rang up my item wrong when I told her the price was wrong she huffed and puffed when she had to go check. It was their fault for wrong marking not mine! I later came back to return it because that item was not worth the price! She also placed her hand up and to me to to wait!? My opinion about the pharmacy changed dramatically in the span of 30 seconds. The lady who helped my mom (who had gotten out the hospital that day and needed her pain meds) was courteous and helpful. Pretty speedy as well. I would have given 4 stars for her. Then the head pharmacist got her turn to give a 30 second consultation on the pain med. The other one clearly stated we needed a consultation. What does the Head pharmacist do? She walks past us like we don't exist. A minute passes - nope still waiting. I'm sorry you couldn't spend the extra 30 seconds to give us a quick instruction so we could be on our way Ms. Head pharmacist. Way to make us feel like a valued customer. So four stars for the first lady and one star for the second lady averages to about... 1 star. I never was very good at math. read more

This is my go to pharmacy, because the pharmacy techs are fast, kind, and good at what they do, by far the best pharmacy in the PQ area! The rest of the staff not so much, most are okay but some border on downright rude. Come to this place for the pharmacy if you need groceries look elsewhere. read more

Their prices are absurd and the lines are slow. The cashiers seem a little disgruntled. The pharm techs appear to have no idea what they're doing. Also, I've been here to pick up prescriptions at least four times and they've yet to have one ready at the time they tell me to come back. (She understands Customer Service!) * Drive Thru pharmacy pick up / drop off * Store layout is more intuitive and easier to read aisle signs * Pharmacy consult with questions - for Rx and Over The Counter products * Diversity of languages spoken by employees Rite Aid is better for: * Hand dipped ice cream * Employee friendliness - usually very engaging and they smile more than at CVS * Photo department when Vangie is not working at CVS *Shorter wait time at pharmacy I prefer the CVS store generally, even though the average employee is not as friendly. I just tell myself they are still 10 times friendlier than one infamous clerk at the post office next door. If I do get impatient waiting in the CVS pharmacy line, I make a game of it. I tried calling CVS on Black Mountain Rd. three times (non-pharmacy) and was disconnected each time after selecting the "store questions" option. The fourth try I selected the Photo option. I had a prescription sent here in the morning. My wife went to pick it up in the afternoon after work. After she waited 20 minutes in line they told her it was not ready, and that it would be ready in 20 minutes, she told them she couldn't wait but would come back early the next morning. She went back and it still was not ready. They apologized and said it would be ready later. They are friendly but are definitely understaffed and that causes them to make mistakes and drop the ball. Huge disappointment! I started going to rite aid across the street and have had no problems. read more

Terrible experience. Went to urgent care and they sent prescription to this pharmacy then when I came they rudely unapologetically said nothing was here and didn't offer any solution. I needed to take that medicine ASAP! I had to have the initiative to call the urgent care, urgent care had to call pharmacy and then long wait before I had it. Also they lied which made me feel really bad. They said with another prescription I told them I would come tomorrow when in fact the lady taking it insisted I should wait around 10 minutes and they would call my name. Really not good ! So, we all know that CVS has taken over the world, which sucks because that means that incompetent people hire more incompetent people and the vicious cycle continues.....Got my 20% off coupon via email for this weekend, you know the one that says "CASHIER SCAN THIS BARCODE OR ENTER COUPON CODE (***)." This was WAY too complicated for them to figure out, so I was told that they "could only accept the physical coupon because they have no way of tracking it otherwise." WTF are you talking about!O(*#&W@(()???? The super rude cashier called "Shawn" the manager out to tell me the same thing. Funny thing was, when I got in my car I called 3 other locations and GASP...........they ALL TAKE ELECTRONIC COUPONS!!! Imagine that! I physically had to drive to another CVS to buy the same crap I was going to buy from this store. Took two calls to fix this. Later they messed up my insurance told me I don't have insurance after another call to the insurance company we found out they didn't even send the request to the insurance. If I could give this place less stars, I would. I have been going there for years, simply because it is close to my house and has a drive through window. I am done and will be switching all my prescriptions to the Von's pharmacy (which I heard is very good). Last week someone called telling me that they were not sure if the number they had for my doctor was correct because no one was responding to their request for a refill. I was driving when they called and told them to just google the number to see if it was correct. The person told me that he could not do that. I had to pull over, do it for him, and then tell him that it was the correct number. Then, I tried to have another prescription refilled for my son. They kept telling me (over a period of a week and a half), that they were having trouble refilling it. When I called the doctor, they said they had faxed CVS twice with the refill and emailed once. Yet, for some reason, CVS was never able to figure it out. Not sure why I stayed with CVS for so long. read more

On 12/18/11 I submitted my calendar order for express service (1 hour). Upon arriving to pick up the order the following morning it was not ready. In fact they told me all they had was the order ticket with my info, no photos. They never called me despite having my phone number to let me know they were having a problem with the order. On 12/19, I resubmitted the order giving them 24 hours to process my order. After receiving a message the order was complete and ready for pick up I went to pick up the order at 5:30 pm, they first told me it wasn't ready because they had ran out of the binding spiral and it wouldn't be ready until the following morning. When I pressed for as to when they knew this, they told me in the morning. When I pressed further, they hadn't even pulled up my order. And as I asked more questions, it appears they knew there was an error with uploading my photos the night before, yet they never contacted me to tell me this so it could be corrected. Needless to say this was an xmas gift that I was planning on carrying with me on my flight the following morning that I will now not be able to provide as is an annual tradition. I didn't even get an apology or any options from them. This whole scenario was badly mishandled and unnecessary and resulted in my decision not to do business with this company anymore. The pharmacists here are fantastic!!! I can't praise them enough. They went above and beyond. We had a complicated situation getting Medicare to pay for Insulin under Part B -- as DME for use in pump. No pharmacy would try to do it. They are all so used to doing Insulin as an Rx. We literally checked about 40 different pharmacies. This particular CVS had pharmacists and clerks who were willing to work with us and submit it under Part B. The pharmacy makes very little money doing it under Part B, that's probably why most shy away from it. But they worked on it for about an hour calling, trying different codes, etc., and it finally went through. Two weeks later Medicare first denied it -- which we knew they would even though it says in the Regs it is considered DME when used in a pump. The CVS pharmacists worked with us again. It finally got all approved. CVS gets their reimbursement all the time and we pay ZERO between Medicare and our supplemental medicare insurance. No copay and no deductible. No using Part D. This really helps because you don't want to use Rx and get into that crazy "donut hole" they talk about. Again -- they have our business forever!!! read more

Based upon my medical conditions, I have been with many different pharmacies over the years. In that time, I have seen some some really good ones and some really bad ones; this location, contrary to some of these reviews, really does have pharmacy staff that do care and do a great job. Everyone from Ryan, Kelly, Richard, Nico, and Samantha (and all of the others) have always been of tremendous assistance to me and always treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. They help manage all of my PAs, work with me consistently on my crazy schedule, and without fail always try and find a way to make sure I am covered even when my insurance plays a game. I find that people are often more impatient than needed and unfairly place the blame of their own insurance not covering a medication on the staff at CVS. Perhaps I am an anomaly and my multiple times a month experiences aren't the norm; I don't believe this to be the case however. I have nothing but great things to say about this group of people and this location. There is a CVS about 2 minutes from my house but I still choose to go to this store which is further away. I have been with this pharmacy for several years. Only because it's close and has a drive through. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, so it must be Management. But, my god! I would say 2-3 times out of 5, my prescriptions are not ready on the day they are supposed to be. Or I'll get a text saying that my prescriptions are ready for pick up, so I go to pick them up and all of the scripts aren't ready. THAT'S when they tell me that there was some sort of "glitch" in their system or that the particular drug (that I've been on for years and has been filled by them every month) will have to be ordered - or is on back order or needs to have a Prior Authorization renewed etc. etc. I either drop off or call in my prescriptions WELL in advance for just this reason. So they have plenty of time to rectify any issues. BEFORE I am at their window to pick up my prescription, THAT I AM COMPLETELY OUT OF (because they can't fill it a day or 2 early) and THAT'S when they tell me (insert lame excuse here) so it's not ready that day. WHY don't they inform a customer of a problem/glitch/delay BEFORE I am out of meds and sitting in their drive through??!! This just happened again today, with a (hard copy) prescription that I dropped off over a week ago. Man I hate CVS with the heat of a thousand suns! read more

went in to pick up an order of scripts that were to be ready by 11 am this morning, they were not ready. I had to wait for them and it is 8 pm!! I told the girl I really needed my blood pressure meds, I am totally out. She said they were ready she read them off to me and my bp meds were not there. She said they have to call the store in Alabama where I live and they were not open there is a two hr time difference an so they said if you come back with your old bottle we will give you a few. I told them it went out in the trash this morning. so it was like o well who gives 2 hoots!! No one if very caring there. I fill about 12-14 scripts a month and I spend a few months at a time in Ca. but I will be finding a new pharmacy!! This was the 2nd time they didnt get my scripts done and the last!! When we came to get in the car there were about 20 people just hanging out playing hac-sac and they were in there 20-30s. Made me very uncomfortable. read more
