Yes the fact that they have a Drive-Thru Prescription pickup window is a bonus...However, I made the mistake of getting in line at the Drive-Thru instead of going inside. Within a few minutes a car pulled in behind me and I was trapped. 25min later I pulled one car length forward...15min another car length forward and was able to wait the 10min for mine. 50 MINUTE WAIT TOTAL AT DRIVE-THRU WINDOW! Inside is your typical CVS but unless you are the first car to arrive at the drive thru pickup you may want to continue around and walk inside. I cannot say much for the store itself. Useless if you need to print photos or need customer service to help with the process. On multiple separate occasions now, I've gone to the kiosk to print photos from my smartphone. It wasn't working. I asked for help and the worker (the last two occasions) said "Oh it isn't working?" The time before the worker just said she didn't know what was wrong and left. This time the worker said he would be right back to help me and never came back. He just went to the register (where another employee was already stationed) and started doing something else, obviously with no intention to return. I'm just tired of wasting time at a business that doesn't deliver. I'm going to Walgreens. read more

Must have the following qualities: Slow moving Apathetic At least 3 years of experience scowling at customers Never feel sense of urgency Be able to give blanks stares during customer complaints If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! Seriously. Do they put this ad out when it comes time to hire employees? I've been to a variety of CVS stores and this is the common theme. I know cashier jobs are not the most exciting thing, but the lack of customer service is astounding. Forget even customer service, how about just treating people like humans and using common sense?! This CVS is no different. I had a really frustrating experience involving me waiting in line for a long time due to slow cashiers and understaffing only to be cut in line by some customer who did not see the giant line and red pattern on floor. Instead of politely telling this man to find the end of the line, she starts ringing him up! I showed the guy the line and bright red carpeting but he didn't care and the cashier did not do anything or say anything. Lame. I went to the next cashier open and was so mad that I let him know that someone needs to train her how to handle situations like that in a more common-sense manner so she does not continue to frustrate customers. I come here to fill and pick up my prescriptions. The staff is very nice and helpful. They're a no nonsense bunch, and will get your meds to you promptly and efficiently as possible. The prices here for makeup is outrageous. Out freakin' rageous. $10 for Covergirl? I don't think so. If you want to purchase drugstore makeup for a reasonable price, go to Target. And next to reasonable prices, they have a better selection to choose from. However, even though the prices are more inflated than Target, I've noticed that the products that are really popular are usually in stock. I don't shop at this CVS unless it's an emergency. This particular location is open 24 hours, which is nice. 3.5 stars! read more

Our truck battery died outside of the 4S CVS and I had my wife, dog and family with me, and a deadline to return the truck to my brother-in-law. I purchased jumper cables from the CVS (lucky for me they sold jumpers) but soon realized I was going to have to bother and beg someone for a jump in the dark of the night. The manager "Tony" overheard my plight and thought about it for a moment, then said, "Sure, I'll give you a jump." You can imagine I about jumped for joy when I heard him say that, and within 10 minutes and Tony's help the truck engine was started and we happily drove off into the night. We'd like to extend a HUGE thanks to Tony at the 4S CVS store for all his help. He is a beacon of light for the CVS franchise and represents the staff very well who work hard every day to do the right thing for their customers. I am writing this review for my office manager. She stopped by this store on Friday evening to get "CVS Brand Sore Throat Spray" (Maximum Strength). She comes into work this morning and says "You won't believe this" pulls out a 5 and a 1/2 inch box, (the CVS Brand Sore Throat Spray) and then pulls out a BARELY 2 inch bottle (1 ounce total). Now we both understand the box DOES say 1 FL OZ very clear. However, we do both believe this is a SLIGHT false advertising, with the 1FL OZ bottle being OVER $6.00, in a 5 and a 1/2 inch box?! Come on! Who really knows who is in charge of price mark ups, but if we could suggest a few things, maybe start off by offering a full disclosure.... especially if it is a CVS Brand (which usually means, its a bit less inexpensive) We may as well be staying at good ol' Target and actually getting what we pay for. =) read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my life. The pharmacy staff is very rude and is not accurate in any information they give you. The pharmacy manager is apathetic and has zero customer focus. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this CVS Pharmacy. Terrible customer service. They do not accept responisbility for their mistakes and don't seem to care about any inconvienience they cause you. I have been coming to this CVS pharmacy for a while and I don't know why I keep punishing myself. The customer service is so bad that I am changing to a different pharmacy. There are times when my doctor sends my prescription in the morning. When I call to follow up they say that they are waiting for approval from my doctor. However, they don't call the doctor. When I call my doctor they say that no one contacted them. I once had to call the doctor while there so she can give her approval. When I needed a refill, they said they couldn't do it because they needed doctor approval again. Seriously..again so I had to do it all over again. I have a lot of medication so I have to go there a lot. I went to get some medication and returned two days later for another medication. They told me a really expensive price and I asked if it went through insurance. The lady told me no because they didn't have my insurance on file. Are your freakin serious? I was just here and I come here all the time. Then I had to go to drop off...which is another line to get my insurance updated. Then to pay for the medication I had to go back to the pick up window...but I had to get back in line to do that. The reason why this is so frustrating is because it takes forever to go through the line. And having to go back and forth between windows and getting in line for each window is a pain in the ass. Okay final complaint...When you get new medication they are supposed to do a consultation with you about the medication. This is a complete waste of time. They don't tell you anything. I had to look online to find out about the medication. Ohhhh and when you do the consultation you have to go to again another window...but need to get in the line for that. I actually like going to this CVS. The cashiers are efficient and they move the lines as fast as they can. So far I've found all the things I need at CVS when my local Target is closed...even though the prices are a bit steep. Hey, if you need it, you need it. They do give out coupons and that's not too bad when you have to buy some medicine here. Oh and it's fun just to look around the dollar bins - you never know what you'll find when you're rummaging through it. read more

4 Stars based on it being 24hrs in a place where it is almost impossible to find any store open round the clock. I remember several nights where we needed to pick up something late at night, drinks, cups, whatever and we couldnt even find a place open past 1am. This is the place. I dont shop much at CVS and when i do im always able to find what i need and usually some sort of deal in the store suckers me into buying something else on the way out. If I could give negative stars then I would. This pharmacy is the worst run place I've ever experienced. There is no regular pharmacist on site as they constantly have rotating staff. They routinely mess up prescriptions and have a bad attitude relating to customer service. I would highly avoid this CVS location and do business elsewhere, as these people are amateurs. read more

I've had an inexcusable medley of issues ranging from being provided blatant misinformation to a total lack of professionalism and concern from the CVS Pharmacy in 4S. The issues have come, not only from the questionably trained front staff, but also the pharmacists themselves. I've been given false information about why my prescriptions have not been filled and also had mysterious auto-fills on prescriptions that I did not request, which has cost me time and money. When I called today to inquire about why my prescription was placed on auto-fill, the pharmacist (Padma) couldn't or wouldn't answer the question, she just dismissively said she'd fix it. When I asked why I was told that my doctor's office would not respond to requests for approval on two other medications by a pharmacy associate, despite my doctor showing me that approval was provided over a month ago, she stated that the initial requests were filled out on the wrong forms by my doctor. Seriously? This is the first that my doctor's office or I am hearing of this--my old CVS Pharmacy also had zero problems filling the meds. In response to this point, Padma stated that some pharmacists are okay with breaking the law. That's bold and extremely unprofessional, since I was referencing another CVS Pharmacy location. What worried me most, was when I let the pharmacist know that I was never informed that a new prescriptions would be needed, or I could have requested them in person from my doctor. Instead of apologizing, she flippantly stated that she had 6 new staff members and not everyone can know everything. That's so scary! Many of the medication they fill on a daily basis could mean life and death for people and their loved ones if the pharmacy gets them wrong or can't communicate appropriately between prescribers and patients, so staff members should not be answering questions at the counter if they're untrained. I honestly fear for anyone receiving life-supportive or life-saving medications from this sloppy, disorganized, shoddily run pharmacy. read more

The parking lot is tight and small for a decent sized CVS. I tried to purchase a Father's Day gift card a day late, and all the good cards were gone. I guess that's my fault for procrastinating. Other than that, everything went fine. A lot of items were on sale and they always offer a long list of coupons on my receipt. read more

Love that this CVS has a drive-thru option for prescriptions. Keeps pick up super speedy and efficient for me as I work and live very close by. Some times the line can get a bit long, but generally the line moves fast and as long as you go during an off-time (aka don't go during lunch and don't go from like 5-6pm) then you'll be good :) read more

Go to Ralph's in the same complex better service :) Wasn't surprised to see less then 3 stars for the reviews. I had to take this medication that I needed ASAP and I had already paid $65 online for the medication. Cvs proceeded to say I had a balance for the prescription that was due. I showed them an online receipt and rx card multiple times and they said they don't know what that is and don't know what they can do. I watched them give a guy in front of me a discount for something because they weren't able to find something for him? So that's weird. They said I had to pay and I could come back with the receipt and could possibly get my money back??? But I just showed them my receipt and rx order. Frankly it was a small amount but to some people right now that's a lot. I wish I would've gotten better customer service from the people that helped me out. I'm posting exactly what happened. They were rushed and worried about getting to the next person. I work in healthcare and no matter the line I try to help the customer as best possible. So I won't be coming back to the pharmacy here. The people at the registers up front are always super great so I was surprised the people in the back can't have the same attitude to help. read more

One star because I took passport pictures there because I needed a rush passport. While in LA for the emergency passport, they denied my passport pictures and mocked me for it because it was over scale. Good thing there was a passport photo place around the corner. But it sent me on an adventure because CVS did not know how to take correct passport pictures. And I never went back, not even to collect my money which I should have done. My sisters told me to go to Walgreens next time. read more

Came here several times before but my last visit wasn't as pleasant as it used to be. Had to ask multiple times for help to get some printer ink since they were locked up. Had to go wait in the long line to ask the cashier to help us out again. Disappointing that it took almost 20 minutes just to get ink.... read more

The management of this pharmacy fails miserably on many levels. I have dropped off a prescription and come back three and a half hours later, only to be told it wasn't ready yet. I've had prescriptions called in which they have had for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of over 24 hours, only to be told when picking them up that they weren't ready yet, could I drive around the parking lot for another 20 minutes. They also claim not to have received prescriptions even when presented with the proof of the fax and confirmation from my doctor's office. I will be obtaining my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

This CVS is okay. It's tucked back in 4S Ranch in the Ralph's shopping plaza. There's always a line and rarely is back-up called to help. The few times I have been there, they seem to not have the product I need. However, it's fairly clean and is pretty quiet. read more

Usually go here to pick up medication and having a drive through option is a huge plus. However, I bought some salon brand 32oz shampoo and conditioner there recently and realized that I picked up the wrong one for my hair type and had thrown out my recipe. I called the store to ask what their return or exchange policy was and was informed that it varies based on that particular store managers discretion and this particular manager will only refund "Half the original purchase price in the form on store credit"! I then informed the clerk that this policy was absurd and that I will no longer be purchasing anything else from this particular store again. read more

But the are helpful and get you in and out as fast as they can. it was the store manager who stopped to help me find what I was looking for on her way to do something and made sure I was good before she went back to what she was doing. very friendly and helpful staff. read more

The reason that I gave it only one star is due to very bad service. I went in to take a passport photo. The guy who took my photo was extremely impatient and unhappy. My husband recently also had bad experience with them when he picked up his prescription. They seem not in the mood to help others. We will not recommend this place to anyone else. read more

Open all hours is good although the pharmacy is not 24hrs (go to RB for that). The cashiers are generally unhelpful and there's often a long line. The pharmacy gets very busy, I try to call before going in to check things are ready. My main concern is the number of times we've had prescriptions with a couple of tablets missing, or receiving 30 tablets instead of 90 for a month's three tablets a day dose. Mostly the staff have been happy to help but there were a few times when I felt like they thought I was dealing from my back door! Most recently I had an incident where one of my prescriptions was apparently signed for by a total stranger while i was out of town. I go elsewhere now. read more

hmm. i'd go somewhere else. i don't think it's normal to leave a cvs with a bad taste in your mouth, after all what makes a girl happier than perusing affordable cosmetics and picking up a pack of m&ms? well i'll tell you what, firstly, this location has a very low selection of cosmetics in stock. there were quite a few empty rows of nail polish and i ended up having to choose a color that wasn't quite what i wanted. secondly, the lines were very long. thirdly, when it was finally my turn to check out, i wanted to know the price for one of the items before buying and the lady just pointed to a self-scanner at the front of the store. you can't just scan the price for me? so of course after stepping out of line to self-scan the price i totally lost my place in line (the guy who had been behind me gave me a dirty look for trying to get back in line so back to the end i went). hence, the pack of m&ms to make myself feel better. you win cvs, you always do. read more

I'd give this location 1/2 a star if possible. The workers at this location are very racist. They racially profile customers and/or harass kids. Two of my kids (African American, 14 and 17) and a friend (mixed w/ red hair 14) were buying lotion. The friend looked inside the box to make sure that he was getting the correct item. Something that I normally do because I received an item that was tampered with or damaged. He did not open the product itself. Him checking the product caused them to follow them around the store... the whole time? They even decided to stand by the door while they stood in line to pay for the product? That's disgusting! As an individual who holds a degree in business and have been trained in customer satisfaction....they failed at their jobs. They should consider training their employees and teaching them how to execute quality customer service to keep ALL customers coming back. I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again. If you have any melanin in your skin ... or have youngster or teenagers thinking of entering this establishment...be cautious. They have absolutely no rational reason to treat their customers in such a nasty manner when there is absolutely no cause. I plan on talking to corporate about this situation. read more
