Went to the Minute Clinic to have a sore throat checked out and to get a flu shot. Nurse Practitioner Chu was great, very efficient and friendly. Cannot say the same about the pharmacy. Went to the counter to pick up my throat medication ordered by NP Chu. This was 10 minutes after she put in the order. At the counter was told, "They are still working on it. It will be 10 to 15 minutes more. We will call you." Waited 40 minutes, no notification text, so returned to the pharmacy counter. Was told again "It's not ready, it will be 10 to 15 minutes." Next I found out nothing had been done with the prescription. I said, "Just keep your medication. I will not be coming back," and left. No explanation, no apology. I will not use this CVS Pharmacy again. read more

My go to spot for cheap great deals on alcohol! No, I'm not an alcoholic. This is basically the only main reason I step into any CVS. Their open late for me to step in right before I head out to the bars or clubs. There is ALWAYS a deal on at least one bottle of beverage. During the holidays you could score almost any type of alcohol with a bonus giveaway. (drinking glasses, mixer, flask, etc.) Can't beat CVS's deals, trust me, head here for all you students if you plan on not damaging the wallet. Okay now other than alcohol I have to say it is a drugstore, and this is where you could find great prices on any type of cure for the common cold, cough, or pain. I depend on this place when I need a helping hand to get over any type of sickness. read more

I always dread going to cvs for any medication because it's such a long wait majority of the time. But I Went here to pick up medication for my fiance & his brother. Saw one cashier named Hao (sp)? Asian guy with glasses, going back and forth on two cashiers trying to assist to everyones needs, can this guy be acknowledged? What great service! He ended up calling for back up for a guy named ramone (sp)? Which was a funny guy, because he told me and my fiance that he's not usually in the pharmacy but he still tried his best to help us. But anywho overall, an easy trip to the pharmacy, usually takes long but it was quick this time because of the guy hao. read more

Formerly Sav-On, not Longs. What used to be Long Drugs is now an Asian food market called Lucky Seafood. Cashier lines can be long but you can still take your purchase and pay at the pharmacy counter. Good selection on make-up and such but check the ads before buying. Walgreens and Savon like to take turns on deals sometimes. Their website uploads photos very slowly so use Walgreen services instead. read more

I would like to say that I had a great experience at the store that Jamie Woolf manages over, but that is not the case. I came into the store this morning to purchase a few items that they had on sale. When I went to the register, the cashier was nice and friendly. She rang up my items and then she scanned my CVS card. I then proceeded to hand her coupons for my items. Once I did that, she stated that she needed to go to the back and would be back. Once returning, she said that the manager was limiting the amount of coupons that I could use in the transaction. Mind you, I was only purchasing 10 bottles of Arm & Hammer, 6 Revlon Mascaras, and 6 Revlon Eye Liners - Nothing that was super huge or overwhelming for the store. I was told that I could only use 6 for the Arm & Hammer and 4 for the Revlon. I said that was fine no problem. She proceeded to take off the extra items and then decided to void the transaction and start over. After you she rang in what I was "allowed" to purchase, she began ringing in the coupons once again. One of the coupons beeped - it was for a buy the eye liner get the mascara free. She said since it beeped that she couldn't use the coupon. I was trying to explain to her what to do with it as it was a b1g1 free coupon. Jamie Woolf insisted to speak over me like I was a criminal for using coupons as saving money for my family. She told me that she can not continue to void transactions - I told her that I never asked anyone to void the first transaction and I didn't ask her to void the second one. She continued to talk over me and tole me that she has the discretion on how many items she sells to patron and would l like to take me business elsewhere. I asked for her to write down the number to her corporate office along with her name. She said the number and refused to give me her name and pointed to the wall and said it was there. I have never had this had of an experience in an CVS. Jamie Woolf - you really should learn how to treat your patrons that visit your store. read more

This local CVS is my go to because they're open 24 hours! They can get pretty packed during certain hours of the day, which is why I usually make most of my runs during the evening time when it's rather empty. They have remodeled recently moving things around. The alcohol is now on the left side once you enter. During the holidays they have a bunch of holiday themed items for which ever holiday is coming up. Customer service is always well. Being a regular they remember me and are always welcoming. The talks are pleasant with the workers. They don't seem like they hate their job like most of the workers at wal-mart lol read more

Make sure you check the price on those Buy-One-Get-One-Free "deals." As far as I can tell, they sometimes practically double the price. For instance, the SAM-E 200 mg was $42.29 for 30 tablets. You think you're getting a deal when you buy-one-get-one-free at $42.29 for two packages. Typical CVS - there's a ton of these stores so they know how to keep them all as similar as possible. I suggest going online to see their weekly specials, then stock up on those items using their loyalty card. Plenty of parking, and items usually don't go out of stock. Very convenient for me because I work in the same mall. read more

I definitely would not go here EVER again for photo printing. Not only is photo printing very expensive, but the quality is really bad. Even going to pay for the photos, the register would not take any type of barcode and there was no system or procedure to quickly avert the situation. I was at two different cash registers for a total of 15-20 minutes possibly. It may have been the time of day... But why in the world would you let your employees wear hoodies and jackets with any logo on it besides "CVS"!! I could not tell if I was handing my money to someone of the streets or an actual employee. And I hope they don't use the excuse that it is the cold season... Because I saw some employees with long sleeve CVS shirts. If your employees are cold, then require them to use long sleeve shirts instead of something that covers the only way customers can identify who is an employee and who is not! If I was the manager, CEO, or head honcho of CVS, I would have sent those two working home and have a good chat with the manager of how they are letting CVS represent itself! read more

This CVS Pharmacy is definitely busy, however they ALWAYS have my medications in stock, and the staff is very friendly and professional! The pharmacist Joe is a very nice guy, as well as his UCSD pharmacist intern, he is really good, he wears that UCSD white coat. This store has definitely been improved over the last 6 months and I hope they keep getting better, they seem to always try to take care of the long lines. I know that the pharmacy business could be tough at times - but thank you pharmacy team for all of your hard work! read more

I was very disappointing. I usually get my prescriptions at Target, but I need them quickly so I went to the CVS in the Chic-Fil-A strip in Mira Mesa. #1. I smells horrible. #2. The floors are dirty and littered with dust and hair. #3. There's a 50-50 chance you'll get a pharmacist who doesn't care. #4. I waited 3 hours to get my prescriptions filled. When the long line started questioning why the customer service was so horrible, one of the women at the pharmacy said "I know. We're short staffed and I can't help the fact that management does this to us." read more

This is the dirtiest filthiest establishment that I've ever been in!!! It's disgusting! As soon as you walk in all you see is dirty floors (which resembles the same dirt that was on it 2 weeks ago). The ladies room had feces smeared all over the toilet seat & floor, the carpet doesn't look like it's ever been vacuumed, there's piles of trash on the floors. There's no AC & the place smelled. I have been a CVS customer for everyday needs and prescriptions for my entire life - whenever I moved to a new state, I always sought out a CVS for my pharmacy needs, and have always been treated with excellent customer service. This CVS pharmacy has the longest wait I have ever experienced - it is completely usual to be next in line for 15 minutes. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful and technicians are friendly for the most part - but it's just my luck that I always seem to show up when this one particular employee is working. She is rude, she stares without speaking to you, and she doesn't answer any questions that you ask. I always hope she won't be there when I go, and I've even tried different days and hours, but she is always there, like the pharmacy ghost, haunting the registers and confusing and terrifying the customers. read more

Want decent customer service? This is not your place. I have been going to this CVS at least once a month for the past 6 years and I am finally so fed up, I signed up for Yelp to write my first review. I wanted this place to work out and I overlooked bad business practices over the years in hopes that the repeated slips were flukes. Unfortunately, the disappointments are the rule rather than the exception. The pharmacy is continually out of stock in medication that I seriously need. As a result, I will being going very sick for the upcoming days until I figure out what to do. I guess the joke's on me because this lack-of-inventory problem hasn't been addressed by the pharmacy. Again, I really wanted this place to work out. I was handed back my script today with the most vacuous, uncaring look. "I don't know when this will be in stock." And after my loyalty for over half of a decade, I was told to go somewhere else. I was under the impression that customer service is aimed at assisting customers towards solutions, not pushing their issues somewhere else. At least pretend like you care, There is an absurdly long list of events over the years that have made me leave this store in worse condition than when I went in. Walgreens, here I come. read more

This Company wants to make you think they really care and yes they do but only for themselves. When the bought out Sav-Ons in 2007 we were warned about this company and the miss treatment they do with there employees. I could tell you many stories but I'm going to tell you one important one that made several employees very upset and saddened by the companies handling and lack of caring like oh well one has died no big deal. After the move over to now CVS and managers at store level were working 18 hour days without OT to get things prepared. If you don't work the whole 18 hour you were not worthy and you would be on the unemployment line. However after forcing transfers to many hard working employees they left this man in the store with fresh CVS only staff. As the sat on there ass and watched him bust his ass they forced him out. The stress caused him to have a heart attack spent months in the hospital for reasons caused by attack and died from complications. This company did nothing for his wife just tossed her aside like a rock sinking in the river. If he was still alive today he would of been 61 years old. He died at age 58 just 3 days before Christmas. I can tell you many more but that would take a long long time. read more

I went there once after they bought and changed it from Longs. Prices went way up and they changed which door is open so the handicap spaces are no long convenient - important when you can't walk much. The bargain bins in the center are now gone and it looks like a cookie cutter drug store inside. For prescriptions I'll go to Walgreens - the cheapest - even was lower than Costco - and they have a drive-up window so I don't have to walk. read more

I must say the pharmacist I attended on Sunday night was more than just rude with no skill set to deal with customers and specifically patients. She left us unattended at times even when I was on counter and then asked if you've questions. While filling forms on payment counter, the attendant asked if she can attend other customer while I'm filling the form. My reply was positive and this pharmacist on the other side was literally shouting at me to move ahead and not block the line. Where is common courtesy and customer interaction etiquettes? I think most of the doctors treat a patient with smile because that helps them to forget pain for some time and be positive about their fight with the disease. That pharmacist, could indeed land you in an ER with her "excellent" communication skills. read more

Pharmacy staff is nice. Lots of variety in the store. People at the register are patient and work quickly.

This is the place to go if you need a new prescription filled, a refill, or something special ordered. The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful, and will always greet you with smiles on their faces. They do have translators most of the time for various Asian languages and some Spanish. And don't forget, not only are some of the technicians good looking, some of the clerks are good looking too! read more

Why must i wait 20 minutes for stupid pharmacist consult, which i don't want or need.!!! If it is a legal requirement, give me a release form to sign. I find this more than annoying. Been here many times, both for grocery and pharmacy items. There always seems to be a line for the pharmacy. My minimum wait has always been at least 10 minutes. But today, I actually waited for only 5 minutes (gasp!). And to top it off, they actually had my prescription filled even if my doctor only sent it in that morning. Unfortunately, the tech who was manning the register did not see my prescription that was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER in the additional five minutes it took her to find it. Oh well, we all have days like that right? Place feels a bit dirty to me, maybe because it'sold, maybe because of the location. I do like CVS though because it feels like a bigger 7-11 that carries almost everything I would need (sans fresh produce). Plus points because they are open 24 hours. read more

My elderly parent purchased hearing aid batteries off their shelves that were 1 year expired but didn't discover this fact until after opening the 8-pk, and having most of the batteries fail. Upon returning the package WITH a dated receipt only 5 days prior, CVS refused to give a refund citing that they "needed" all of the batteries in order to complete their refund. Their return policy of opened items shouldn't include their failure to pull expired goods from their own shelves. Needless to say, I'll make sure my parents shop for their drug store needs elsewhere. read more

This is one of the worst Pharmacies I've ever been to. If I can give it a negative star I would. My Pediatrician called in 4 prescriptions an hour before I got to the Pharmacy. There was one person in line ahead of me, when I got to the counter; they were unable to find the prescriptions. I had to call the Pediatrician and they had to call it in again. I had my sick daughter with me whom needed to get her antibiotics. They informed me that it would take about 15 mins. An HOUR later they finally filled the prescription. I was not a happy camper, not only did I have to wait an additional hour, I informed them that my daughter is sick, she needs her medications and to put a rush on it. The only thing they told me was that I can come back later. This only made me more irritated, I had the worst experience here and would not come back again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Absolutely Horrible service. I have been their Pharmacy customer for more than 2 years now, and still they don't bother to keep a small footnote of my refills which have copay waiver. Every time I have to remind them. Every time i wait for around 45 minutes to get one refill done. And guess what today they refilled with 2mg pills while the doc prescribed 1mg. On top they had to make me pay for a tablet cutter to make it 1mg per intake. Very bad. Walgreens right across the street was much better. read more

I love CVS stores for the great deals and extra bucks rewards. I enjoy shopping there when they have sales! (My review is about the pharmacy) However, I do not recommend the pharmacy. I had my medications filled for years at CVS which was fine until last year I had 2 incidents. First time, I came to fill my medication and it took so long, I had to wait over an hour just to get it filled. The second incident, I received an automatic call that my prescription was ready for pick up. When I stopped by after work and fell in line (most times...always a long line) I picked it up and when I got home, opened the bag and turned out to be the wrong medication. I wished the pharmacist (or cashier) actually showed me the medication rather than just handing me a white bag without saying anything while I paid for the medication. After that incident, I knew it was time to transfer to a different pharmacy. A friend recommended Rite Aid and so I transferred from CVS to Rite Aid. I have never been happier and more satisfied with the change and now I also have my son's medications filled at Rite Aid. If you want to avoid long lines, waits, and wrong medication given...CVS pharmacy is not the place. read more

This cvs is great! They have awesome cashiers especially Fely she's a Filipino cashier who's always kind and takes her time to ring me up. The only thing is the lines can get very long and they should have more cashiers up front. The store has been remodeled and looks really good. read more

CVS Pharmacy at this location has some difficulties of contacting the clinics and updating & keeping the correct clinic information in their system even thought the customers provided the clinic information many times. As result, it takes 2 -3 weeks to get the prescriptions. Per the pharmacists at the CVS, if the customers who want to get the updated prescriptions, all customers should call the Doctor's office to ask them to call the CVS, not expecting the CVS to call the doctor. I would not recommend to use this pharmacy. read more

I take seven medications, which are supposed to be on automatic reorder. I picked up my reorder, took the last pill for one of the medications from my previous order only to find the refill had been omitted from what I was given. So I had to go back to the pharmacy to get the medication they failed to give me as part of the refill order. There was only one person working the counter and a long line. I waited patiently and while waiting a customer walked up to the counter and the person left the counter to find a product for the person who cut in line. When it became my turn the guy working the counter clearly only wanted to help those wanting to drop off a new Rx and did not want to help existing customers because when I explained I had not received one of my medications the previous day he said, "We have a long line. Can you come back tomorrow?" Why are the time and needs of other customers more important than mine? They no longer have to worry about this existing customer because I transferred all seven of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. My advice is pick a different pharmacy. It shouldn't be hard to find a pharmacy with better customer service than at the CVS in the Mira Mesa Mall. read more

I literally just had a first date at this cvs! I know it's unconventional but we needed a spot to meet before I head out of town (in 3 hours!!) for a week. We took a seat on some patio furniture and the staff seemed to have no problem as we carried on our conversation. After about two hours of talking, the manager came over and offered us some beverages! What a sweetheart!! When we finally realized that it was almost two in the morning, we got up to leave and he told us that we didn't have to go... It seemed like we had the full support of the staff to have a successful date! Ha! We'll have to keep them posted if it all works out.
