Sorry but, I hate this stupid store. I try really really hard to support physically local businesses but no can do on this one! Every time I've been in here there is always some type of avoidable hassle. Having to ask the, mumbling person who is STILL WEARING A STUPID MASK and talking through a piece of plexiglass to repeat everything they've said 2 and 3 times making young me seem stupid, feeble or deaf when it's THEM. Who hires new staff then leaves said new staff alone without information about surrounding stores? On line information said it was open until 9pm , nope . closes up the at about 7pm i tried at about 8 to get help . new employee got very tall manager who also didn't know if the store in calabassas was still 24 hours due to google being wrong about their hours and i asked for help if he could call them to find out and he told me to google it . What part of IM HAVING AN EMERGENCY DONT YOU GET? WOW . You have your employees working at a pharmaceutical store with little to no knowledge of first aid or even the hours of their sister stores . The pharmacists in this store were or overworked giving out Covid Shots. The prescriptions are often late and several times called in to pick up meds to be told not ready. What was upsetting. Pharmacist told my partner. We are welcome to find another pharmacy. We did Home Care, a private non cooperated nightmare that has stores closing down. You folks are too big for your britches with pharmacists with attitudes. Thank you for welcoming my partner to take prescriptions elsewhere. We are quite happy. read more

So we have used CVS before and had no issues this year was not great. We wanted to make are own cards with a bible verse for Christmas, which was harder then we thought to find one. Once we had order them we went to pick them up there was a big issue that we saw when we got home. The ink was low when they were printing and apparently did not think that they need to replace the ink before continuing on. The second issue was that four of the cards only printed one-sided so our fun picture was not even on the card. So not happy we wasted out money with printing here. I am going to go in and talked to the manger about this as we where counting on having all the cards we ordered able to be used and having them all looking the best they can be. GO some where else where you can get good service and good quality on your cards. read more

Alex the employee almost hit me in parking lot. I saw the guy get out of his car go into cvs and clock in to work. I waited i line to get my passport picture. The manager got the camera to do it. I then told the manager he should tell Alex to be-careful driving in the parking lot. Alex then proceeded to argue with me and tell me I just sitting there in the road when I was clearly waiting for a lady to cross, a car pull out of a spot and a car pull into a spot, he then asks me what car I was in and I told him and he said haha you are dumb. Then the manager decided to make a joke and tell Alex to take my passport photo and laughed. read more

This is a shout-out to a very nice employee named Tek. I was in there to get some photo magnets made. He was in on his day off as a customer and made my four magnets for me. I already said previously this is the Worst CVS in SImi. Now it's confirmed! I was always told that ExtraBuck coupons are good even though they expire because customers really EARNED them. So they always take them as a courtesy. Not sure starting when CVS changed the policy and no longer taking any expired ExtraBuck coupons! The supervisor then said, why would we put an expiration date on there otherwise, and she also said there is a policy change notice here! Well sure there is a notice at the cashier but who ever read those things. None of the cashiers at CVS ever reminded customers that policy changed and we should hurry up if we have any coupons about to expire. So I feel like it's a trap and I had about $50 total in coupons now they are no good! This particular CVS people are really mean and NO HELP at all. They really don't care. Generally they are care less about customer satisfaction. Other stores are at least helpful taking one expired coupon during this circumstance. So I will never shop at this particular CVS again [just like the Rite Aid on First Street]. I will only return at this store, never make another purchase! Store manager here really needs to speak to the employees there to improve their service level. Christina is the girl at store today with a supervisor [silver long hair one]. I usually get pretty good service at this cvs at the pharmacy from Han and I believe her name is michelle ( I could have that wrong though) but today I got excellent, friendly and just all around great service from cash amber and after she helped me she patiently and very slowly helped a very elderly lady to her car, put her Walker in the trunk for her and the slow helped her in her car all with a smile. This is what I call above and beyond the call of duty. read more

I honestly wonder why ?? Why would this store still be in business ?? They always have bad smell, the employees are rude, they don't even put on a fake smile!! And tonight i went there at 9:50 ( keep in mind the store hours is till 10:00 pm) and this lady is sitting next to the locked door, looking at the time, and wouldn't let me in! I was having difficulty breathing due to my asthma and a cold, and needed a different inhaler prescription filled ASAP as I had been wheezing for hours. We got a text that they (CVS pharmacy) are waiting for the doctor's email. We talked to the doctor's office and they requested that the pharmacy call them. My husband and I kept calling the pharmacy to relay this as I needed the medication ASAP but they were very unhelpful and kept placing us on hold. I once called while I was wheezing and before I could even complete my sentence, the pharmacy lady placed me on a 15 minute hold. I may have to visit the ER because these people have no compassion and do not understand the urgency of filling an inhaler prescription. Very unprofessional and no sense of empathy. read more

I have only used this location for two prescriptions, and I will be changing back to the one I was using before even though it's a bit farther away. Both times I tried to fill a prescription here, the pharmacy techs made me feel like a bug on their shoe. The first time was the day I was discharged after back surgery. There was a foul-up at the doc's office and they didn't call in the Rx for pain meds. When I asked the CVS pharmacy tech to call their office, she told me to go straighten it out rather rudely. The second time was yesterday when I donned my mask and gloves and drove to CVS to pick up a prescription they texted me was ready. When I get there, there was no line, which was nice. There were four techs milling around. Not one even glanced my way, despite two of them literally standing at the counter. After several minutes I said "Hello?", at which time I was finally told, "Just a minute." I get that they have things to do, but acknowledging a customer is kind of a nice thing. So anyway, once the tech helped me, I was told the prescription wasn't ready after they texted me it was. They said they were waiting for the doctor to ok it. When I said I still have multiple refills left, she was able to find that info on the computer and told me the Rx would be ready later. Ugh!!! I decided to investigate their delivery options when I came home, but the app for that was another adventure. read more

This review pretty much applies to the pharmacy section and the technicians who work to fill prescriptions . . . although the entire store seems to have it's act together. The staff are 100% professional and knowledgeable. They are always efficient and polite. I was dreading the impending retirement of Ron, the longtime Lead Pharmacist, but am happy to report that the entire staff have stepped up and have seamlessly transitioned to new management. The store is always clean and reasonably well stocked. ALL of the regular team members are always eager to assist. And, of course, CVS brand products are long known as being every bit as good as name brand products (if not better) and significantly more reasonably priced. Convenient location. Parking is a breeze. But its the pharmacy staff that keeps me coming back. read more

I'm usually a Walgreen's fiend, and one of them is opening up across the street here soon...but this CVS is pretty decent. This store is a good place to stock up on your vitamins, halls drops, beauty products, chocolate, etc. Service is hit or miss, usually decent though. If you have the extra care card they print out a couple coupons for you every time you make a purchase. Coupons are good. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This review is for the pharmacy. Went in to fill a prescription that my doctor specifically wrote for me. I received a prescription 3 days earlier but my doctor decide to change it.Not an issue right? Wrong! The pharmacist, who told me that she doesn't normally work there by the way, said she wouldn't be able to give me my prescription because she doesn't feel "right about filling it." Ummm what? My doctor wrote that for me and who are you to tell me what prescriptions to take and not to take? I couldn't believe it! This review is for the pharmacy only. I haven't shopped in the actual store. Had to go get a prescription for my daughter and this is the first time I've been in. We just moved to Simi so didn't really know where to go and saw this after the doctor visit. It's little run down and could use a good remodel however the Pharm tech James and the pharmacist were really great. I didn't wait long, they were kind and courteous and I was in and out and both explained everything very well. I will be back because of the service for sure. read more

When trying to problem solved an issue, Sarah was not able to provide options. When requesting the number to corporate and/or regional manager to provide feedback. Her response was "... since you are thinking of calling corporate, I don't think I am able to fill out your daughters prescription". Please address the lack of service at your store. The over all level of service I experienced while shopping at your store was inconsistent. Sarah lacks the communications skills, common sense, expertise to provide the level of service expected from a paying customer. I will not return to CVS pharmacy to shop. read more

If I could leave a negative star rating I would. The staff was literally screaming at each other from across the store. I was there to buy some DayQuil and thought that the price was outrageous. After checking the price on my phone at the Rite Aid store I noticed that it was half the cost at Rite Aid. Being a businessman I thought maybe the manager would find that interesting. I typically go to the CVS on Cochran, however today my daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled and I went directly to the drive thru immediately to get her pain meds filled before going home. Mind you it was only 10:00 am, when I pull up they tell me it will be 1 hour I explained my situation and unfortunately there was no way they could get it done before that. So I emphasized I would be back at exactly 11 and she confirmed it would be done. I pulled up at 10:58 and was told it would be 15 min to a half hour - I LEFT MY CHILD HOME ALONE!! I explained that I needed the meds an hour ago and was promised 11 - the "gentleman" finally gave me the RX but after nearly 15 minutes of waiting which I'm sure was no accident! I'm done. Going back to Walgreens. A little further away, but so worth it. They always promise my Rx by a certain time, and it's never ready. Tried to play the guessing game...tell them I want it in an hour instead of two...not ready in two. Tell them later today instead of tomorrow, and tomorrow....not ready. I swear they just wait for you to show up before they start. I've complained a dozen times....they could care less. So yesterday...he asks when I'd like to pick it up. I tell him 2:30. 3:00, and it's not ready. Come back in 10 min. What they are really saying is get your ass out of the drive through....you're holding up the other suckers in line. Go park, come on in and hopefully you'll buy some other things while you wait. It's like....all rides end at the gift shop. I hate this place! read more

Tonight was my worst CVS experience. We ran in a few minutes before closing to grab toothpaste and deodorant. We heard them say they were closed now 1 minute before 10pm on the speaker... fine. So we were just grabbing our last product. At approximately 10pm we had the shift supervisor come tell us to take our stuff to the register and that they were closing the register.... He stood there... and wouldn't leave us till we walked with him up to the register, I said I knew what I wanted and he said we had to leave now. SO RUDE.... all the employees were standing there at 10:01 with purses in hands ready to jet out the door (mind you I know the time because I looked at the clock multiple times because of all of their behavior...It was like we were in there 15-30 mins past closing!) we got into our car at 10:03. within our 5 minutes of being in the store 9:57-10:02 we were treated horribly. I said at the register that i've never been pushed out of a store like this before. Then we got the wrath of Carrie she decided to proceed extremely rudely, "well, our closing time is on the door! We all have families and children we would like to see!! We are closed!" she kept rambling on her with her rudeness the whole time we were checking out till we walked out, mind you she was out the door even before us! I told them all they were rude!! Seriously Awful customer service! Again we were in our car driving away at 10:03pm.... they acted as if we kept them there for an hour.... so ridiculous! I am calling into a manager, these people shouldn't be dealing with the public. I love going to CVS but will never step foot in this one again. read more

I have been going to CVS for five years I have had nothing but trouble with them they could never get any thing right I finally moved to Walmart where it is cheaper and they treat you nicely. Thank God I have finally moved on Ron is horrible at customer service. I hope they close this pharmacy it is incredibly bad in every way including the fact that it is more expensive than any where else in Simi Valley. I just moved here from Philadelphia and just had the worst experience at the pharmacy. I called days ago to have my prescription transferred to them, spent a significant amount of time of the phone with the pharmacist giving her all the information they needed. They called me days later to pick up the prescription and when I went to pick it up they made me wait over an hour just to tell me that I couldn't take my prescription that was there and ready for me. During this time the first pharmacist helping me stormed off in the middle because "she was off forever ago" and continued to complain about the fact that she was still "stuck there". The second pharmacist helping me couldn't tell me why they called me, why I couldn't take the prescription, and then proceeded to tell me that I had to call THEM when it was time to pick up my prescription. Excuse me?! Oh okay, I'll start doing your job now too. I left furious and immediately called Rite Aid to switch locations. I could not believe how rude and uneducated their pharmacists are. I would never feel comfortable with them filling and assisting me with my prescription. I wish we could give zero stars. read more
