I bought a Comms system for my helmet online from you guys thinking, "oh this won't be so hard to install". Man was I wrong Couldn't find where the speaker go, felt like maybe I was putting on pads and things I shouldn't be pulling on, and was all around frustrated. I phoned in, Scarlet picked up, said it wasn't super busy, and bam!! Within the next 20 minutes (took me 10 to ride to you guys) my Comms system was installed! Easy Peasy. She was super helpful, showed me where the speakers would go (in case I bought another unit for my second helmet), and did everything was a smile. She's rad :) read more

I'm starting to fall in love with their own Sedici brand because of the lifetime warranty. I replaced my gloves recently, the process was as easy as it gets, no receipt needed, just pick a new pair of gloves and that's pretty much it :) Update: Replaced my gloves twice already. I guess it's a good and a bad thing together. Return policy is great but quality is lacking a bit. Customer service is the best although you may need to wait a little while for someone to help you if there are more customers at the store. They are clearly passionate about motorcycling and get to know you on a personal level. I came back in today and ordered some cheekpads for a helmet I'll be getting in soon and they were able to have it shipped to my home free of charge! Employees are very knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects and seem to genuinely enjoy sharing that knowledge. Recently got into motorcycling and came in here to get started on some gear. AMAZING customer service, these guys will go the extra mile to hep you out on all your moto needs. Every time i step into the store someone always greets me and end up talking about motorcycles and gear in general. tough their selection is extensive don't expect the big moto player brands to be in store, yes they have some of the stuff but i would say 60 to 70 percent of the stuff they have is SEDICI or BILT items. if you find a item online and you see it in store i believe they do price match. also they are teamed up with REVZILLA so if you see something on REVZILLAS website and would like to have it quicker make sure you let these guys know majority of the time they get your item next day in store. read more

Walked in here close to closing time expecting to be pressured to make a purchase and get out quick and was in shock on how good the customer service was and how well they took care of me. I like Cycle Gear because they've always shown great customer service. I came here to exchange some Alpinestars gloves that I had purchased at the San Diego location a couple months ago (seams were coming apart), and the whole experience was hassle-free. Since this location recently opened, expect items to trickle in over the next couple weeks. The women's section remains abysmal for now so I've been squidding it while I wait for new Stella leathers to come in. Otherwise, it's an awesome physical location to compare similar products across different brands. And obviously, because riding is the coolest thing ever, Cycle Gear hosts bike nights so you can meet fellow like-minded cool people to discuss important things like plasti dip, Yoshimura exhausts, rim tape, and your next bike, because you know... I asked for help twice and they continued on helping others that got there after me. Not to mention their greeting sound like this...."hello, can I help you with anything??? Every time I go here, David's customer service always puts me in a good mood. He's always informative and always gives good information on products (pros and cons, his opinions, etc.). -I can only assume that other employees there are also knowledgeable but I never get a good vibe even when they just ask if I need help. I'm the type of shopper (if shopping for my hobby) that will get what I want and then proceed to look around for 30+ minutes ad end up leaving with more than just that one thing.. The other employees on how they ask just makes me feel like I'm an unwanted window shopper. David on the other had just makes it normal, like nothing is up and even strikes up a conversation on common ground with you. The store has QUALITY products that they stand by, that is why their prices are high. -If there is ever a problem with a product after buying, they will help you out -EX: There is a flaw in the inner stitching of jeans where it scratches your leg, they'll work something out. Only thing I wish was that they would have more staff on weekends and peek hours. Sedici products are horrible, and can't be returned if you add anything to them. I bought a helmet and to make it anti fog the seller snapped a anti fogging layer to visor. After just one ride I had to buy another one because the helmet in M size feels like and S and even for S its super uncomfortable. Its $270 in vain and can't do anything about it, I believe the same follows through all the cycle gear products, so probably only buy good brands for safety and comfort. read more

I love going to this place! Not only they have a huge selection for bike gears and accessories but the costumer service and staff was top of the line. Just when you enter you are greeted by everyone. I went today for some hydraulic clutch oil. Something not so easy to find (apparently), especially after 3 calls to near-by stores; first those guys had Magura Blood, which is exactly what I needed, second their service from the polite phone call to my visit was impeccable, and third we had a pleasant conversation about my favorite brand, KTM :) which they do not specialize in, but appreciate. Fantastic customer service!!! This store and the Lomita store have fantastic customer service!!! I went to the Culver City store to get a hoodie that I ordered, and I was in a hurry because my dog was in my truck, but there's a guy who works there, kind of a taller fellow, just so very nice, and when I was telling him that this was my first time in this location, and it seemed to be a very popular store, and also one of the smaller locations, but everything was so very organized and very easy to find things, and everything was in its place, and just looked clean!!! As I'm telling this fellow how impressed I am with the store, and I never asked or hinted for a discount, but the guy gave me 20% off, maybe as a new customer there, or just the good vibe and great customer service he has!!! I didn't notice until I got home and so I thought I'd give props when they're due, and they're definitely due here!!! TIM! That guy is awesome! My experience at this specific Cycle Gear was great! I live in Long Beach and i have to say.. being all the way in Culver city is a drive lol. The person that helped me out was TIM. Great guy, extremely helpful in my quest to trying to find the right fit for my helmet. I ended up getting the Arai Corsair X. Now... im extremely fidgety with my fitment size... and i bought the medium size at first and he explained to me the correct way it should feel and fit... well i felt uncomfortable... and came back for the large the next day... that time TIM wasnt there and some other chap helped me. I took the large... and the very next day came back AGAIN because it was too big.. lol... that was my fault aha. TIM was there this third time around! Of course he laughed and we joked about why i was there lol. He told me that the medium will feel weird at first because it was new. So i exchanged my helmet back for the Medium and the store was packed at this time... so i told him that i can swap out my sena and for him to go help out the customers! I helped him out ^_^ Finally got my Sena 20s swaped out, he did the paper work and i was out on my way home! The best customer service. I am very new to the motorcycle world and decided to fix a few things on my bike myself. I went in there a few times the past two weeks for parts and have talked to someone different every time, but each one of them was so helpful. I love Cycle Gear, literally of all my life every time I walk in to any store, I always receive the pushy sales aroma, however every cycle gear I go to, I always get the vibe of passionate and professional associates here. I have been to the one in Montclair as well as Azusa, and I always meet a super *cool* person working there. Brian/David were awesome, they helped gear me up and even though I did my own research on certain items, they literally knew all the little features of each and every time, only true passion in the industry would allow that, or they really did they're homework, I surely did mine and they seem to amaze me every single time. They're objective is to sell you more items as any store would, but they help answer all your questions and feed in more wisdom about the products so that in the end you make a well informed decision about your purchase.
