Yes, that's right, I said it - I have actually enjoyed visiting this office for my dogs to be examined. Service is top notch here. Dr. Mughannam is extremely warm, personable and explanatory. He demonstrates a genuine interest in his patients and will tell you if your fur babies will need to continue with routine check-ups or not. It is evident that he is passionate about his job, working with animals, and talking about all eye and animal topics. We have shared great conversations. Dr. Puma is also very gentle, kind and friendly, especially with patients. In fact, the entire staff is awesome, including their cute office dog. Everyone here is amiable and seems to love their jobs, working with all of the patients that come in, and talking with the pet parents. What more could you ask for from any kind of office? The venue, with plenty of seating in the lobby as well as right outside the entrance door, is also always clean and tidy. Even their restroom is pristine. They also sometimes have a jar or two of treats for doggies. Did I mention their office dog? Such a cutie and the team is always happy to let you say, "Hello." Ample parking is also available in the private lot. I'm not going to lie - fees are not cheap, but you pay for excellent service and genuine care, so it's worth it. It was the best choice I could have ever made. Our pup was 10 weeks old at the time of the first appointment and had not been fully socialized to the outside world. Michael was very thorough in giving us information of what to expect in future health visits as well as information and suggestion on healthier options on what to feed/treat her. He also gave great insight on the different phases of her growth and how to deal with certain behaviors that might arise. It also helps that Michael has a great attitude and personality. I asked around and heard from a friend about how their dog had been diagnosed by Barb with Myositis (refers to any condition causing inflammation in muscles). Not only Dr. Kollin figured it out where others couldn't, but she was able to alleviate the symptoms of weakness, swelling, and pain their dog had been suffering from. This even has helped me figure out my own ailment! So there wasn't a question in my mind as to our vet selection. Yes, I know some have reservations about certain aspects of her practice, such as operating out of her backyard or kitchen, perhaps not being the most sterile of the environments. At the same time, those are the perks for keeping your pet calm and relaxed during the visit: they know they are coming in for a friendly visitation and not an inquisition, as it may feel at a pet hospital. Yes, Barb's practice isn't computerized, but we're all creatures of habit and have our own preferences, so if that doesn't bother her, why should it bother me? I care for my pet's care, not for how neatly or conveniently she's keeping her paperwork. And I don't care about needless post card reminders from the hospital based on their computer records from some past random visits. And yes, pet weigh-ins are by Barb's assistant Katherine holding your pet to take a combined weight, subtract hers, then telling resulting number to Barb through an open window. But isn't that how you weigh-in your own pet? Isn't that how they weigh a small pet at a hospital? And that's exactly how my dog had been weighted at a perfectly computerized pet hospital setting. It does not take away from how well your pet is cared for, or how quickly you can get in for an emergency appointment. I'd recommend Dr. Kollin highly, except I don't think she's seeking any new referrals at this point. It might not be an easy way in for you-:)

Went there recently, had a similar experience. Originally the visit was to assess his neurological health due to his wobbly legs and urinary issues. Told the cat was to be put down BEFORE a legitimate diagnosis. I work in tech/manufacturing and my whole family is in the medical field. I use logic, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking on a daily basis. I've seen, heard, and experienced all sorts of things through immersion in terms of medical. This "vet" has no fucking reason to be licensed with how she comes to her diagnosis. One of my first jobs was interning at a disability evaluation clinic. How this "vet" responds to pets would be the equivalent of saying "You should think about euthanasia" to some of the patients I've seen who have had medications on top of their medications. Absolutely disgusting with no empathy no sense of scientific method, reason, or logic behind her diagnosis. Our cat had bloodwork done at SAGE. ONE of the 3 visits to other vets we were told he does have a heart murmur, but some how she rolled some dice and came to the conclusion he had fluid in his lungs and heart failure/disease. The murmur was rated a 2/5 from one of the ER Sage vets and we were told it isn't even an issue especially if he's had it for this long. DO NOT GO HERE. EVER. I don't care what she says. If not for the lack of empathy but the lack of deductive reasoning and professionalism. I'd rather pay a thousand to go to the ER at Sage for a normal visit than to pay $300 for 10minutes of this person to pretend to play doctor. Yes she charged 300 to talk to us. The "vet" performed no bloodwork other than the normal work an intern could have done. She did a garbage job of feigning empathy, she seemed annoyed that she had to look at our cat, said he was underweight (he's an old cat, but slightly underweight), the "fluid in his lungs" that she heard was his fucking stomach, because he's on Miralax. How am I going to take you seriously when you don't even know the difference between lungs and a stomach. Jesus Christ the incompetence of this place is unbelievable. And just today we did a check up with our normal vet and for his wobbly legs and peeing and he's completely fine outside of that. She checked his heart, completely fine. I NEVER leave reviews but I need to warn you all of this place. Save your time, save your money, and potentially save your pets life from a woman that has no business in this field ever. I've worked with a lot of people from all walks, trained a lot of people with various skills, interacted with many people, and I will never be more disgusted at how this person carried themselves. You work on animals because you weren't good enough to work with people, you don't care about animals. I've heard plenty of HORRIBLE stories of malpractice. YES I AM PISSED.

But recently Rocky had his annual physical exam, and Steven Sutter ordered tests of blood work ,ultra sound and urine urinalysis. Rocky's health had been deteriorating though he was taking all kinds of meds prescribed by Steven Sutter for his heart and a chronic infection in his body. After the tests were ordered, Rocky was put on daily antibiotics to control his chronic infection. But when Rocky's health kept deteriorating, I emailed Steven Sutter several times and kept a message in his office asking for an appointment to evaluate Rocky again and to have him help Rocky with his health issues. However, Steven Sutter ignored my emails and did not respond about what to do to help our sick and suffering dog. During this time, Rocky lost one-half of his weight since he stopped eating, drinking, or walking on his own. So we sought help by contacting another vet, and were informed that Rocky had a bad kidney disease. I am writing this review so that other dog owners can avoid the same bad experience with their dogs that my dog suffered at the end of his life.

Aragon has been great to our pets- or Dr. Sutter and Dr. Walsh ut not a fan sometimes of the girls up front that can be rude or difficult... One of them is super nice all the time. One of my labs recently passed away and have been blessed with having such a loving and caring vet as Aragon and Dr. Sutter. They made my experience peaceful and even sent UC Davis a donation for research in my dogs honor. I am so blessed to have this vet and my dogs are too. Love them!!! I can say enough about their support when you really need them.
