We arrived early as this used to be a staple for us and there was always a wait. The food was as solid as we remembered. I had a 2 egg breakfast and my son had steak and eggs. Our portions were great, I left with my normal to go box. The service was prompt and friendly. You could tell she had a few regulars that greeted her warmly and made our visit feel more welcoming.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and it hit the spot! We got there not long after they opened and were seated right away. The place has that comfy, local diner vibe. Our server was super friendly and on top of things--took our order right away and kept checking in to make sure we were good. The food came out fast (like 10 minutes tops!). My omelette was loaded with toppings and just the right amount of cheese. The croissant was fresh, buttery, and super filling. Hash browns were nice and crispy--one even came loaded with queso's By the time we were leaving, a line was starting to form, so I'm glad we came early. Overall, it's a cute little spot for a simple, solid breakfast. Nothing over the top, but good food and great service--I'd totally come back!

My husband and I have lived next to this little mom-and-pop spot for over a year and a half, and I'm embarrassed to say this was our first time finally trying it out. All I can say is -- we've been seriously missing out! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and came out hot and surprisingly fast considering the place was completely packed. There were barely any open seats inside, so we decided to sit outside, and honestly I'm glad we did. The weather was perfect and even though we were the only ones out there for a while, our waitress still gave us amazing service. She checked on us often, made sure our drinks stayed full, and never made us feel forgotten just because we weren't inside with everyone else. We'll definitely be back and I'm already telling my friends about this hidden gem. If you've been sleeping on this place like we were, go fix that ASAP!

This used to be one of our favorite places, but hadn't been here in quite some time. This was our first return in a couple of years. Be aware, there is very little handicap parking and a lot of folks who genuinely need handicap parking. I really wish they added more parking spots devoted to this. When we walked in the place was vibrant with about 60% full with the remaining tables needing bussing. This isn't really unusual as this place is extremely popular and there were many people that left at about the same time. We had to wait about 4 minutes for a table but were seated with a server we'd had it the past, Chris. One of my favorite things about Cypress Breakfast House (CBH) is the drinks. If you order a pop, you get a glass full of pop and a mini carafe full of pop. This is also true for iced coffee. I got both, I can only drink coffee to a point. My dad ordered the "Eggs your way" with eggs over easy, bacon crisp, with toast & I ordered the Eggs Benedict. This is one of the few places where when one orders "Bacon Crisp" they actually get bacon crisp. The food was good, but the eggs were cool, even the Eggs Benedict. The eggs seemed to have sat for a few minutes before we got our food. Our server Chris was amazing. She was prompt, polite, efficient, and stopped by to check on us at the right time (eg when we didn't have food in our mouths). She was quick with the bill and processing the credit card. The ambiance was bustling and there was a ranger of generations from people who were younger to people who were older. I would have given more points if the eggs were not cool which I cannot overlook.

Decided to come out to grab some breakfast this morning. Arrived a little before 10a and no wait to sit down. Server was perky and very nice. Food was fresh and tasty. Yall should definitely try it out. I cannot wait to go back.

Found this place on Yelp :) First of all this place is rocking on Sundays for breakfast that they need a bigger parking lot and more space in the restaurant because they had families lined out the door, it continued down the sidewalk. We were very lucky to get a set for my husband and my self. We did have to wait about fifteen minutes them to come get us. You have to give them your phone number so they can text you when there is setting available. I wish we could remember our waitress' name she was an older lady, very sweet gave us some menu item suggestions. They have a huge menu of both breakfast, brunch and lunch choices. We went with the Skillet portion of the menu, hubby got the Country Skillet and I got the Mexican Skillet. Both good just very potato heavy if you like your skillets that way then you will not be disappointed. I'm glad we found this place just not sure we will be back do to how crowded it was inside. Cypress Breakfast has a lot on their menu go check them out just be prepared to wait places like this are not fast food places don't expect a quick turn around on your orders.

    Price discrepancy

Food is good. Check your receipt. You'll be nickled and dimed for everything, so don't ask for a thing! Overcharged on the ticket vs. the price on the menu...see attached photo. Not cool.

    Biscuits and gravy, omelet

We were seated quickly which was nice! I felt like the food was average and nothing out of the ordinary. My dad ordered an omelet which was pretty good and was the best. I order biscuits and gravy and felt like they were mediocre. Could've been more flavorful. They were very busy and it was loud in the dining room, which is okay just something noted. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, I'm just not sure I'd take the time to visit again.

Was doing some shopping in Cypress and had some time to kill so decided to give this place a try and glad I did. There was a 15 - 30 minute wait. I was seated within 15. My server, Chris greeted me right away. I ordered coffee and was brought my own carafe. The coffee was hot and delicious. I decided to try biscuits and gravy with a side of potatoes and ordered crispy bacon as well. The food came out really quick. The potatoes were great rosemary potatoes and plenty of them. The biscuit was light, fluffy and good. Chris, the server was attentive. She checked up on me several times. Will be back for lunch next time.

On average how long the wait might be if we are group of 12? We want to try this place out. Thanks!

We went a few months back 10 top and waited 45 min. I think it's worth it given the options in the area.

We all know the Houston weather, it doesn't get any cooler. Although, at the patio, you can see curious chickens roaming around your tables, which is cute and entertaining. We sat in a hot day of July, in the patio. I drank enough melted iced water for the whole week. Service was super caring. Many check-ins, many reassurances that she didn't forget our orders. My friend and I were having the best time in catching up. Food was lean. Smoothies tasted so good. My friend loves their coffee there. I wish I had the energy to visit the surroundings of the restaurant. But given how hot it was, I had to leave this for another day. Parking isn't the easiest but keep in mind this is a popular spot! The self-service fountain drink area smelled strongly of mildew or old sponges, and the counter was very sticky and wet. I understand a mess during a lunch rush, but the lingering odor was a big turn off. I ordered a White Chicken Parm, and the chicken was unpleasantly rubbery in some areas- I regretfully had to spit out a piece, which I genuinely try not to do out of respect. Pasta was also too salty for my taste. The menu description also lists broccolini, but the reality was more of regular broccoli that was also soft to the point of being slightly mushy. I'm hoping the best for this restaurant, and also hope that this may have been an off day since there are recent good reviews; but in the meantime, I'll be exploring other Vintage Park options for lunch. - Ambiance: 2/5 - Food: 2/5 - Service: 4/5

The menu was not very big so it made me think that they would be really good at what they made. That logic proved right. I started with an appetizer of humus and my son ordered the cheese pizza. At first, I wasn't impressed with his pizza based on looks -- then I tasted it. The pizza was really good. The humus was also really solid. For my main, I ordered a burger. I think I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a pic of it. Regardless, it also was a really good burger. The restaurant is an order from the counter concept and then take a seat. You're on the hook for your refills / condiments / dinnerware. I like that. Only drawback is the parking situation. The front lot is pretty small and there were no spaces. Otherwise, I really like the place! Thank you to the Yelpers who went before me and left the good reviews and enticing pictures.
