Cute French bakery/restaurant with chill vibes and friendly staff. Interior has few table seatings and interior is cute. Friends and I came around 11 AM, unfortunately all the pastries were sold out so we decided to try the crepes. I shared a mushroom crepe and also got mimosa. Mushroom crepe was large portion, good enough for two people to share as a large snack. Filling to crepe ratio was good, although a sauce would have been nice. We tried our friends smoked salmon crepe and we liked that better. Overall solid vibe with not too heavy food. Would love to try the pastries my next visit. read more

I made a quick stop for champs and crepes at Délice Brenton and let me say, they did not disappoint! The service was attentive and efficient. The solid selection of sweet and savory options offered something to satisfy cravings across the flavor spectrum, with indoor or outdoor seating depending on your preference. Do be aware, they are a bit harder to find if you don't come into the first entrance of the plaza (with Orange County retina on your left) but they are there, tucked away in the corner. Cute, charming space. I had never been to this part of SJC before. The plaza is pretty corporate-looking, but the bakery itself is friendly and warm. I love the French imports they carry and the cozy corner with armchairs, which is perfect for a weekend morning. Or the lovely outdoor patio space they have. The staff was super friendly and we had a great conversation with them. I liked that it felt very much like a neighborhood café. Not many viennoiserie options were left by the time we went, but that's expected around closing. We ordered a pain au chocolat and a ham and cheese croissant (they heat them up). The pain au chocolat was just okay. The lamination wasn't great and it didn't really have that buttery, French quality I was hoping for. The ham and cheese croissant was much better, flavorful and not too salty. It's a little far for me to drive regularly, but I would come back if I had the chance to try the food menu. I'd love to try more Breton cuisine or the sandwiches (they offer chicken curry!), galettes, omelets and their Breton gateaux. read more

Tucked in a corner of an inconspicuous business plaza, it was such a surprise and delight to find a rustic, intimate bakery & cafe. We arrived around lunch and almost all of the bread/pastry in the display were sold out, or had very slim pickings available. I guess you gotta get there early if you want to secure something. Since it was our first time around, we settled on brunch things. Hubby ordered the Bacon & Eggs ($13.50) and was disappointed that it was very literal with no sides. Bacon was very crispy and the eggs fluffy, but it wasn't a substantial meal. It did not meet his expectations for that price. I chose to try their signature sandwich ($17) and my experience was pretty favorable. The sandwich came with ham, hard boiled egg, emmental cheese, tomatoes, carrots, avocado, lettuce and house made dressing. They were pretty generous with the filling so I found the portion to be perfect for me. Thankfully, half the sandwich satisfied my appetite, so my hubby was lucky enough to eat my other half to round out his meal. Given their portion size, I would return if I'm looking for something light or just want to nibble on something. That means, I'll have to come early to see what wonderful pastries they got. read more

Well I returned the next morning to pick up our order. Everything I said previously is still accurate! I arrived and the team was so cheerful, warm and welcoming especially for an early Easter Sunday morning. When I walked in I saw the display case with the beignets I immediately ordered another dozen. 6 more sugar and 6 hazelnut. We brought them to the family Easter lunch...THEY WERE A HIT! So delicious. I came to Delice Breton for the first time after receiving a promotional email showcasing these pink cookies for Valentine's Day that you can dip in champagne! It was a gift and the staff assisted me with putting it in a gift basket, with plastic wrap and a bow! It seemed like the cashier was less experienced, so someone from the back came out and assisted. The gift looked beautiful. I need to come back soon and try the food, because it looked and smelled so good. The restaurant had a lot of seats inside, as well as outside too. We had such a wonderful experience our first time here. On Sunday Memorial Day 2026 at 1:50 pm we stopped by to eat. The outside tables were filled with a large party. We went inside to sit. We were ignored by the front staff. There was 1 empty 2 top table in the front area. The back area was roped off with a sign "this section closed for cleaning ". They do not close until 3 pm. As we were a party of 3 and as we were being studiously ignored, we decided to leave. I think the owners should know that an entire section was closed more than an hour before closing. I had such a wonderful experience previously. Very disappointed and will not recommend. read more

We've been here twice now and we love it! The sandwiches are incredible, mostly due to the bread. Yummy! I got the ham and brie which comes with butter and lettuce. Such a delicious combination. We purchased a few pastries on our first visit, but they were out of most since we came later in the day. On our second visit, we tried the Almond croissant. It is literally the best croissant I've ever had!! Crunchy and flaky on the outside, dense and moist inside. I've enjoyed the lattes as well. My friend likes their matcha. Spinach crepe w sunny side up egg & buckwheat batter - very nice texture to the crepe, not soft and delightfully crispy. Nice balance of flavors inside. I would definitely get this again. Jam crepe w strawberry jam - jam crepe was nice and chewy, but not a standout otherwise. The jam on it was great! French onion soup - not to enough cheese! But we are cheese fanatics. The soup itself was pretty good tho! Not sure it's worth $14, since it's more like a cup of soup than a bowl, but it has a nice sweet onion flavor. Ham & butter sandwich - nice baguette, crusty outside and soft inside. You can taste the butter, so there's enough of it, and the ham is nice. 2 mochas, one half sweet - I could have gotten my half sweet one full sweet and been fine. The mochas are not overly sweet here, just how I like it! They were happy to make the adjustment. The flavor is also not particularly special, but it hot the spot when you need your caffeine fix! We would definitely come here again, even tho everything felt a little expensive. That's just par for the course these days and for the area, so not a true drawback. Everything was perfectly enjoyable with the sandwich and the savory crepe being the standouts. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and quick. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Very much enjoyed the beignets and the Pains aux Raisins was AMAZING! Love going there with my friend every morning before school. The service was amazing and the restaurant is a perfect relaxing little spot to chat before class. I've gotten the Curry sandwhich twice for lunch and it was very delicious. Last week I got the turkey and cheese sandwhich on a croissant and I thought it was AMAZING! If it wasn't for not being able to leave campus during school, I would have gone to buy another. This place is located in a business center. It's nestled in the corner with ample parking available. It's decorated cutely however music playing would have really made the ambiance a bit better and helped with the silence. The food was good. My husband and I both got paninis and my daughter got a cold croissant sandwich. My youngest daughter ordered a croissant and when she took a bite it was cold. This is our favorite new breakfast place! It was love at first bite when we first tried their authentic French omelets a few months ago. Their smoked salmon omelet is our favorite but we also LOVE their cheese omelet. Their bite sized beignets are perfection! Although we live in Aliso, there are a couple of delivery services that deliver to us, so we have ordered delivery twice, and the food arrives hot and delicious. On our first in-person visit, the staff was warm and welcoming. Before we had decided to make the trek to San Juan Capistrano, I called ahead to see if there was any outdoor seating available. The friendly woman who answered the phone went to go check and let me know that there were 2 tables still available. Most places wouldn't go the extra step to check. Everyone there was so friendly and we enjoyed breakfast. Today, we ordered brunch for delivery and they forgot to include the 4 beignets we ordered. I wouldn't have done anything to follow up, and I would definitely go back because their food is spectacular! However, we received an apologetic call from the restaurant saying they had forgotten the beignets and would have them redelivered. We order a lot through different delivery services and have never had something so minor be redelivered, and never on behalf of the restaurant organizing it. In addition, the chef texted me an apology and confirmed redelivery, including some delicious complimentary chocolates. This is the most above and beyond move a business and/or restaurant had made since 2020 or maybe ever. The fact that they care and follow through is so wonderful. Even if they had done nothing, we would order again, as their food is the absolute BEST!!!! Thank you, Delice Breton, for offering the most phenomenal food and stellar customer service. Cute little cafe in San Juan Capistrano. There's a few tables inside and outside available for dining in. We were able to dine outside with our dog and baby in her stroller. Staff were friendly and welcoming! We ordered lunch here and ordered a drip coffee, Ham and Brie Sandwich, Beignets, and a Tomato Crepe. The drip coffee was very tasty and a nice smooth taste! The ham and Brie sandwich was unfortunately a bit dry and needed a sauce or seasoning. I had to add ketchup since it was pretty dry but the bread was very tasty with a nice crisp. The beignets were pretty small and did not taste as fresh (maybe because I ordered it around 12pm). The tomato crepe tasted like pizza. Overall I prefer their drinks over the food. read more

A very casual, family run place that's out of the way for most people, since it is in an office park. But it's worth the trip over here as the prices were very reasonable, service was friendly, and the food was definitely tasty. It's sort of a mini Moulin (Dana Point, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach), but less polished and less commercialized-but still just as good. They have a selection of crepes, sandwiches and salads on the menu, all in the traditional french style. We each had crepes, the mushroom crepe with scrambled eggs and the salmon crepe with the same. Both were very thin, light and airy, and the fillings were done just right. Delicious capers topped the salmon crepe, and the mushrooms were creamy and the cheese and eggs were all delicious. We also took home a few beignets which were airy, light, and delicious. They also have a small marketplace selling french mustards and other condiments, and a good selection of bakery items including croissants, pan au chocolat, beignets, madeleines and some other items. It's worth your time to pop over here for a light meal and some tasty pastries. Next time I'll try the coffee too! read more

Lovely crepes! But $43 lovely? Hmm... ordered the mushroom crepes and asked if they had bechamel sauce which is the traditional topping. They only had a mushroom sauce for $4 extra. For $14 crepe I left it as is. Same thing happened on the Nutella crepe. Whipped cream is $2 more. So is the topping. Again, it might be better to increase a few dollars but have the traditional toppings included. Also ordered some bacon. a side of 3 small pieces is $7. Anyway cute store. Love the decor. This place is so unassuming and hidden, and I'd like to keep it that way. The omelette. THE MUSHROOM OMELETTE is an absolute dream. The egg is proper fluff and light. Custardy on the inside. The mushrooms and cheese and sauce come together to create the most absolute bite of perfection. I know I should venture out and try the different offerings which I'm sure are equally delicious. But I also don't want to ruin the good thing I've got going on with the mushroom omelette. I've also had the baguette with ham and butter which is also perfection. I think it would utterly sublime if they used the Isigny Saints-Mère butter. I would absolutely be willing to pay extra for it. And the beignets! How could I wait this long to talk about it?
