We had previously tried to get the problem fixed at other shops but to no avail. This last visit was to fix an expensive problem and they did a great job. However, less than 2 weeks later the steering issues were back. My son returned to Storrs Auto to find out the part was faulty. Within 3 days the car was once again repaired free of charge. They definitely stand behind their work. I would highly recommend Storrs Automotive, especially to UCONN college students. Being from out of state, I was concerned my son would be taken advantage of. This is not the case here. They seem to be honest, reputable, friendly and complete the repairs in a timely manner. Anyone needing car repairs can feel comfortable that Storrs Automotive will do just that, repair your car at a fair price. I wish there were more trustworthy repair shops around.

Took 3 hours to tell us their AC machine that charged the ACs was broken, and they were waiting for parts. Could they NOT have told me this when I called? Waste 3 hours for NO fix? Yes, I had some words to say, and the women did as well. Blame totally on us and not them. I asked when it would be fixed so they could properly fix the vehicle we spent twice as much to fix-- or rather not get fixed-- anywhere else but there. It is a 12-hour round-trip drive, which she so rudely reminded me it wasn't the shop's fault... NO SH!T. When I asked for money back to have it fixed properly, a step was missed, because clearly it wasn't charged to begin with... she said no. Everyone from the owner, to the mechanics, to the office staff have been nothing but helpful, kind, and courteous. They are ALWAYS able to squeeze us in if we have an emergency-type of issue with one of our vehicles.
