After reading the very positive reviews my wife and I decided to stop for dinner last nite. We entered to a nearly empty seating area. There was 4 individuals behind the counter talking but one finally got around to greeting us. We decided based on reviews pizza was the fair of the day. We ordered a medium mushroom, olive and pepperoni, 1 side salad and 1/2 pitcher of beer. The total came to ~35$. Wow. Pretty expensive. So we were expecting something pretty good. I made my was to the(big salad bar) in their description on yelp. It was not big in fact smaller than most. The lettuce looked wilted, the beans had been mashed and everything was picked over pretty well. Given it was 5pm but it was not attended to. Ps the sunflower seeds were borderline rancid. All this for 8$. All tables were clean and well bussed. The general appearance was clean and ordered. Finally the big moment. The pizza arrives. The order was made correctly but toppings looked very sparse. Even though it was cut in smaller slices there were 3 slices with nothing but cheese. Every slice should have something other than cheese. (It looked nothing like the photos advertised) For a 12 inch pie there were 13 very thin sliced pepperonis. Fresh mushroom and olives were also distributed sparingly. We though of complaining but we were hungry after not having much salad to choose from so we decided to continue. The crust was perforated and cooked on a screen. It cooks faster and more complete in the middle but gives a cracker like texture. Kinda like the boxed digiorno frozen product. Notice I said product NOT pizza. So in summation the absolute best we can say is mediocre. The good - service, cleanliness and atmosphere. The bad - unfortunately this is the food and the value. Poorly kept and serviced expensive salad bar - and at the top of the list the pizza. Cracker like crust and little toppings. All this for a rather expensive ~$35. read more

For once I decided to not check yelp before walking into a restaurant driven by hunger and the knowledge of how late it was already. As a climber coming back from Yosemite with intense hunger, I was delighted by their salad bar! For under $7 I ate a healthily garnished green salad, potato salad, pasta salad and a copious desert. The owners, Diane and Danny, are provide wonderful service and utilize their restaurant to serve local schools and sports teams. If you want a solid small town pizza place, D'boni's is for you! Go to D'bonis! No joke. Better than Hula's? Better than BK? Better than, dare I say, In-N-Out? I say, YES! Now, it is a pizza place, so let's say a few things about that. The flavor is incredible. Just delicious. I have never had a bad pizza. My favorite it either a double pepperoni or the combination. And a great perk about their pie is that I can get full on my 3rd slice. Seriously. One large pie will fill our bellies w/ a slice or two left over...and I have two teenage boys! Compare that to any other pizza joints in our town and I can't say the same. They use fresh ingredients and their pizza actually has cheese all over it. Never do you see sauce peeking through. It's so cheesy. Witnessed a fellow patron changing a baby's diaper on the dining table in the restaurant (see photo I uploaded). This was brought to the attention of the supervisor at D'Bonis and she didn't do anything about it. I explained to her it was a health code violation, and that the diaper should be changed in the bathroom or his vehicle in the parking lot. She proceeded to tell me that the bathrooms don't have a changing table and that what he was doing was acceptable. She also said she would have done the same thing if she was in his position! I was appalled and dumbfounded at the situation I found myself in. I was told that I was too "angry" about the situation and that I would be removed from the restaurant if I persisted with my complaint! I asked the supervisor to please address the situation so that my family and I could comfortably resume eating the $80 worth of food that we paid for (we also tipped - which is uncommon amongst those that dine in). She refused to address the situation. The gentleman that changed the diaper continued to finish his meal (at another table not pictured) and then left. He was never spoken to by the employees of D'Bonis. This is appalling. It is my hope that I receive a public apology from the owners well as an assurance that this will NOT happen again. The supervisor was absolutely in the wrong and needs to be educated. ___________ I'm updating this review and changing the rating back to 5 stars. I know this was an isolated incident, and that the owners of D'boni's did not condone this behavior. I was immediately contacted, given an apology, and told that a changing station was ordered for the restroom. I appreciate D'boni's taking the issue seriously, acting professionally, and promptly coming up with a remedy, as well was educating their employee. read more

For the hour or so we were there, the only fresh pizza that was brought out was a tiny mini pizza that my friend had to request since the pizza that was out when we got there seemed to have been sitting there for a while.
