Stopped with my wife and young son on our way back to San Francisco from Yosemite Valley. SO glad we chose D'boni's! Food was fantastic, service was excellent and very helpful, and the restaurant itself was really cool. The woman who helped us was very friendly and asked us about our trip and where we were from. We even got to put a pin on a map to mark our home town. I could see many from all over the world have stopped here. The staff are always nice, even when it's busy they get food out quick, and it's such a fun place to sit down and watch a game or play a few arcade games. This place is a good family pizza parlor. They are super nice, have a great selection of food and tons of activities. The games remind me of the old school pizza placed we had when I was a kid in the 80's. The pizza has awesome crust and they have lots of toppings to choose from. My boyfriend and I came here to have lunch with one of his childhood buddies. I ordered the chicken tenders with garlic fries and he ordered his typical chicken club sandwich with side of fries. We also ordered fried zucchini to share between the 3 of us. This is one of those old pizza diners that has a homey feeling. They have ample seating so we didnt have to wait for a table. The verdict: chicken tenders was cooked to perfection. The garlic fries wasn't too salty which is what I like. It has minced garlic which wasn't overpowering. The zucchini was good too although I was expecting more like fries cut. It was the round and thinly sliced covered in batter type. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Wow we really liked this place! My family hardly ever has pizza anymore because it's not up to standards of our likings. I even started making my own dough at home but you know how that sometimes goes! I've had this place bookmarked for long time and today husband mentions pizza and we decided to drive from Manteca to this spot. From talking to the owner I can tell we were gonna like this pie.. family owned business, pizza was wonderful with great toppings, good sauce and it wasn't a soggy mess by time we got home. My 5 year old was like this is the best pizza I ever had and she knows good food since my husband is a chef. Tried out Diboni's tonight. It was a happening place for a Thursday night. It's great place for kids, lots of games and a large party room area. Both of my kids loved the pepperoni pizza. I actually really liked the pickle pizza. The garlic chicken pizza was just okay. It lacked flavor despite having so many toppings. It may have been the sauce that lacked flavor. The cinnamon sticks were yummy. Overall I'd give it 4 stars. It's better than Pizza Plus but the sauces on both pizzas could use more flavor. The chicken wings were delicious. read more
