Looking for a coffee place and don't know it was a full restaurant! Had the most amazing coffee and Mexican hot cocoa! The menu is extensive and there's so much to choose from. Had the corn beef hash and eggs and omelette ---delicious. The decor is eclectic and whimsical inside and a nice heated covered patio outside (if needed). You can also just order drinks and pastries (which all look amazing) to go, but we decided to sit down and have a leisurely breakfast before leaving town. So glad we chose this place!! The minute you walk in you are transformed. The eclectic ambiance, the delicious aromas, the fun laughter. Each wall and table area is decorated with fun whimsical items from different eras. For those wishing to celebrate a special occasion, there was a birthday luncheon with 12 ladies having a great time. Within my party of three lunch was amazing. One guest started with the Lavender Lemonade in which we all sampled. I had the classic BLT on wheat with potato salad and their classic greens salad. Probably the best BLT I have sampled. I ordered a simple ice tea in which a carafe of ice tea was served. Without writing a chapter, D' Coffee Bouteaque is amazing and definitely worth a visit(it will soon become a fav). Such a cute little place. Fun, eclectic decor inside makes it feel perfect for tea time. There's almost an Alice in Wonderland whimsical feel sitting in this cafe. The coffee is great quality and they have a nice array of options. I loved the salted caramel cold brew and really took my time sipping it. Just a very enjoyable flavor. Looking forward to trying the canela cold brew next time. The hummus avocado toast was good for some light fare. I got the half order but would definitely get the full order next time. I ordered a side of bacon as well to add a bit of meat/protein to everything and it was cooked to perfection. Not too soggy, not too crispy. It's the best. From the owner Mona to the Menu the food is great and original -- and the ambience is like no other.

The decor makes you feel like you are in someone's house. It is not a look at we think is particularly think is attractive but that is personal taste. We ordered the chicaquiles, eggs Benedict, and avocado toast. The food was good but I was not blown away. I would say that you can get what is served here at many other places so nothing particularly special here. read more

I was looking for a local restaurant where I can take my out of town friends for dinner. I read great reviews about the new "coffee shop" relocated at the University Pl. Village, which has gone through a beautiful renovation. People were raving about the coffee and the pastries and the breakfast. I went to check it out. I walked into this very different eclectic artistically decorated place and to my surprise, they serve lunch and dinner. It's a full service restaurant. I immediately made a reservation for five people for that evening at the beautiful outdoor patio which accommodated our little dog too. We had the most wonderful experience! between the personal service and the amazing food cooked by an award winning Las Vegas chef who is part owner(and came to greet us at the end of the meal) everybody was so nice and accommodating. When the food arrived, three of us ordered the short ribs dinner they all said it was the best short ribs they ever had. My salmon salad came like a piece of art in a beautiful, hard Parmesan crusted basket and when I took the first bite I couldn't believe the taste. The layers of flavor, the tenderness ,the dressing, everything was perfect. We feel like we found the best kept secret in town and soon they will have a liquor license and all day happy hour. We can't wait to go back and enjoy their breakfast lunch and dinner! read more

Wife and I found this place because it was close to our stay. The food was amazing. I had the Crab Benedict , and it was so delicious. My wife ordered the Belgian Waffle and she shared it with me. I thought this restaurant was a unique find. The owners have made the atmosphere and staff open and friend and special. Ladies especially will love eating here. While visiting my parents out in the Coachella Valley, my Dad really wanted to take me to D'Coffee Bouteaque for brunch. I am a serious foodie, so I was happy to try it. I had scrambled eggs and beef short ribs on English muffins, with diced fried potatoes. (It's the "Benedict" but with scrambled eggs.) The rib meat was perfectly cooked, quite flavorful, and unbelievably tender! The potatoes were delicious, and the eggs were exactly as I wanted. The in-house brewed black ice tea, delivered in a decanter, was spot on; strong but not bitter. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey, and the service was impeccable! Priscilla (our server), Mariano (the manager), as well as Mona, the owner herself, were very welcoming and were sincerely happy to make our visit there first-rate! We went for a late breakfast on a Sunday and enjoyed live guitar music. Avocado Toast with poached egg was really good, but the avocado is whipped with other things. This was such an amazing find! Service was quick and there was steady business for a Thursday morning. Drinks were unique and flavorful - good options for both tea and coffee lovers, hot and cold. I LOVED seeing little girls having tea parties there with their mom, as well as older ladies having ice tea with their girlfriends. They had a wifi sign hanging which seems to indicate that they welcome student/workers. There is two sections of the restaurant: whimsy/eclectic and Potterhead/magical. I tried the scarlet rose cold brew and it was super delicious! Didn't have an aftertaste like most cold brews do and wasn't overwhelmingly strong. It has a rose scent and the cold foam was perfectly sweet. Loved how both the lavender cold brew and the rose had flowers in it giving it an extra flare. The service, food, ambience, even the other diners... everything was a very pleasant experience. A friend invited me to lunch here. She ordered the turkey/cranberry sandwich and I ordered the Rueben. We gave each other half of our sandwiches so we could experience both. Both were good however I was especially enamored with the turkey/cranberry. I saw a waiter taking a really delicious looking strawberry-ish looking drink on top with a different color on bottom to someone and asked about it. He explained it and I ordered it. It was refreshing. Then as we were eating, two people sat next to us and ordered a purple looking drink that looked delicious. I asked them about that and they kindly explained.
