I drove out to Palm Desert several months ago when my last job was located in Chino Hills. Anyways, this was a super upscale coffee shop with ample interior decorations. I ordered a breakfast take out item: eggs Benedict and hazelnut coffee, medium size. I have to dig through my camera for the eggs Benedict unless I chowed them all down before I had a chance to take a pic of what I ordered. I spent some quality time taking pics here this trip to Palm Desert/Palm Springs before heading down to Downtown Palm Springs again. Also I found parking super easy as this upscale coffee shop was located in a huge plaza. I even found a 20min parking spot right in front of the shop. Wow! What a great accidental find! I walked into what I thought was a small coffee shop and was amazed to find a spacious coffee, tea, pastry and light menu experience! We were greeted by the gracious owner who gave us a brief description of her beautiful shop WTH Victorian style touches everywhere. The perfect ladies luncheon spot or coffee and dessert. We met the owner who told us they had recently just opened after the building had been burnt down. It was amazing to say the least! The ambiance was so so cute! The coffee was absolutely delicious! Everyone was so friendly. They had a little boutique as well. Super cute items and reasonably priced. They also have little tea parties for kiddos with "magic" tea and lemonade. We didn't make it back this trip to do this, but we will definitely be back for a tea party! read more

The restaurant is very small and tables are very close together- so their policy on animals inside the restaurant should be revisited. Seating along one wall is shared bench seating and a couple beside us brought in their small dog. The dog was given a bowl of water and was eating food literally less than a foot away from us. I am an animal lover, but I really didn't enjoy being in such close company with a dog who was eating and drinking so close to me while I was eating. We wanted to get some coffee and I was looking for a local coffee shop that had fun creative drinks with selfie worthy aesthetic. We saw the drink menu on yelp and decided to stop by. When we arrived we noticed they had a large food menu. The staff was so nice, we got Alan as our server and he offered to take this picture of us. Our food was delicious and fresh the restaurant aesthetic was so cute and whimsical, they even had a Harry Potter section. This is a great place to have a brunch date with girlfriends as you can get a tea party option. Go to breakfast place. Love the aesthetic of this place. The cafe is also very dog friendly, first thing that was served was a dog bowl for my beautiful corgis. My sisters go to meal here is the prosciutto avocado toast. It's so good. I got the eggs Florentine, I liked it, but I may not order it again. Nothing bad about it, just okay. I finally was able to order the lychee rose ice tea. They have limited supply and I hear their supplier is from out of town so I was able to taste it. Absolutely fabulous! My little and I were visiting my mom vacation in Palm Desert and we needed a brunch place on Mom's birthday. I tried to call the Pink Cabana and Wilma and Fred's but no one was answering and I didn't want to risk a really long wait. We walked in and were immediately seated and quickly placed our order. My mom and I got tea lattes served in beautiful mugs and my father got his own personal pitcher of iced tea! Brilliant! Then the food came and no one was disappointed. Everyone was talking about how pleasant and good everything was. Service was phenomenal and attentive. Eclectic design of this cafe makes it unique and inviting. The owner came up to chat and explained that she designed from the heart and I believe it. No cookie cutter environment here. My sugar free hazelnut latte with almond milk is exceptional- not too sweet and so flavorful, served in cheerful, pretty cup with matching saucer. Avocado and hummus toast is fantastic. Not much to look at from the outside but a surprisingly ethereal "like" and eclectic atmosphere. The hostess was very nice and told us a lot about the restaurant. Our server started off with us and then we didn't see him again. We ordered the Canela cold brew and the tuxedo cold brew for starters. The coffee was average, not epic like I expected. The chilaquiles were good. Very spicy. They all American breakfast was beatify too lol at but the potatoes were dry and seemed stale. The sausage was greasy and not very fresh tasting. The server was replaced by another who finished our service. He was nice. We were never asked if we needed more water or anything. It's always good to let your customers know if you're taking a break and someone else is taking over. But the service could've been better overall. Not sure if I'm gonna run back here for the food. I might try again for a coffee and pastry down the road, but when I can get great service and great food for less across the street probably not. It's a nice restaurant, just not for me. read more

Both were very well done and the presentation was perfect, pic attached. I had the bananas foster and my wife had the prosciutto avacado toast. The bananas foster was the best I have had and didn't have too much syrup as some are prone to do. The avacado toast was good but not great, my wife and I both feel it needed some cayenne or something to jazz it up. My daughter and I found the place during our trip and we're glad we did. The place is whimsical and would be good for mom and daughter brunch..little girls will surely love it! We wanted to go for a quick brunch before heading home but were worried about leaving our pet bunny in the car. So we brought the bunny with us and asked for outdoor dining. The sweet lady went above and beyond and offered that she would set up a table for us inside so we're more comfortable and the bunny as well. Seriously who does that nowadays?! even my kids were in awe to have experienced such kindness. We went to order our food and the server was friendly. The server did a great job of getting me a second free cup of coffee after the cook messed up my sandwhich order. The coffee here is a good strong flavor but not bitter and overly roasted. The place feels like you are walking into an Alice wonderland/fairy tale setting. They have a lot of small things that can easily break or be damaged. Such a cute little coffee shop that doubles as a dine-in restaurant! My sister and I stopped here 2x in the same day because we enjoyed it so much. We were working in the area today and wanted coffee so we got a hazelnut latte with oat milk and the chocolate twist and raspberry danish. Everything was so good we forgot to take pictures! We then decided to stop by for lunch in between meetings, but ran out of time so we asked for our items to-go last minute. Mona helped us and was amazing!! She gave us a menu to take home in case we were in the area again so we wouldn't have to rush, and had the BEST recommendations for what to order. We really wanted to try this place as we were just staying at the resort down the street. The decor was amazing. Mom and daughter really love the vibe of the place. We had ordered the butterfly tea for our daughter but we were not told they did not have the ingredients for the tea until much later after we asked our server what happened to the tea and were met with a less than pleasant answer "oh, i forgot to tell to you we don't have everything to make the tea." Needless to say, my 7 year old was now sad as she had been looking forward to it. We order a side of bacon and eggs for both kids. Mom order the smoked salmon avocado toast and i had the prosciutto avocado toast. Unfortunately, mom had a black hair in one the 4 pieces of her toast. The prosciutto one came hairless, fortunately. When we finished our meals we sat there for some time. Our server did not come to our table. I had to asked the host if he could help me out by getting our check. All in all, the ambiance was good, food was delicious (despite the hair), an service was mediocre. Okay, so I have been reading some good reviews about this new spot. It is where we used to visit from time to time, when it was a frozen yogurt & ice cream shop. I told my wife about it and she visited today with our 12 year old daughter. The place is adorned nicely, as has already been expressed. The twosome ordered a Mango Tea, an Iced Coffee with milk, a Chocolate Chip cookie and a Cranberry Scone. It seemed they had a good enough time, although they might have requested something new, that they really didn't appreciate. Then, they received the bill. They believe it was a bit pricey. Secondly, they were not asked about size on their drinks. Hence, they were given & charged for large beverages accordingly. At home, the bill was perused more stringently to find a Cinnamon Roll in lieu of the scone that was ingested. Supposedly, the Cinnamon Rolls are HUGE in comparison. Could they actually charge the same price? We were left befuddled & bewildered at what transpired, a return may not be in the cards. read more
