We got seated right away and were given water before our server arrived. Mariano greeted us with a friendly smile and welcomed us, when we told him it was our first time there he was excited! He told us that the food was delicious and we would not be disappointed. We ordered our coffee and two eggs Benedict, one classic and the other with short ribs. And he was right it did not disappoint! The food was comforting and full of flavor! Mariano was very attentive and I enjoyed seeing the owner present in the restaurant. She's so sweet! This is a 100 out of 5 stars coffee shop for me. The owner, service, ambiance, aesthetic, vibes, and quality of food and drink is impeccable. I never would have imagined finding a treasure like this on my road trip. I will be stopping here every time I drive through. The espresso (cortado) was delicious, as was the croissant with chocolate. I have a preference for gluten free food (not an allergy) and I loved that when I asked, the owner was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and open about the ingredients in all the food. I love that they use organic cane sugar and have a variety of milk alternative options. I felt so welcomed here. This is truly a beautiful coffee boutique with such incredible energy. I saw a drink tray go by that made my eyes light up like a kid. I asked her what it was and she explained and I had to order it. We went in for the first time and were met with the friendliest, loveliest people, followed by their delicious coffee (try the bees knees latte if you get a chance, it's amazing). We've visited twice now and I can honestly say that it's one of my favorite places to eat and enjoy a delicious coffee from. I had their green chicken chilaquiles, their French toast, their Hazelnut Royale latte and the Canela Cold Brew (which tastes exactly like Cafe de Olla!).
