I have tried several times to like this place. I really did. With a name like D'lish, what could go wrong? So very much. One would think that if you're going to lift large swaths of your menu from CPK and Sammy's, then you'd at least pay attention to what they got right. Instead, the prices are matched with these famous chains with the quality/portion of the chains' childrens menu. Strike that, the childrens menu at Sammy's features larger servings of protein. This last try was the end. My salad had four razor-thin slices of chicken that I had to dig for a sea of cheap, wilted lettuce for $8.95. (While I can't confirm, such shabu-shabu thin meat surely must have been frozen to be able to be sliced so thin.) My boyfriend's pizza was also less than dazzling in toppings. And the kicker? My family and I have been customers for a number of years. Their quality and customer service has really suffered. I am usually a low key person, but after tonight I was very frustrated. We ordered 4 salads and it took an hour. When I got home i realized they had completely messed up my daughter's salad. I drove back for a new salad and they got the order wrong again! I showed them the receipt because they were really having a hard time with a Cesar salad without olives . When I got home I found out that that the other 3 salads were also wrong. My husband was disappointed in the sandwich--said it had too much fat, and the meat was kind of hard to bite into. He said the bread was good, but too soft and got soggy fast. My salad was fine, and the dressing was really good, but the breadsticks were dry, and a tad bit hard on the edges. The breadsticks have a good flavor, but I'm not sure if it was baked early in the day and sat out or were they from the day before? Or is the bread shipped in from another bakery? I've had this salad before, and the breadsticks were also dry/a lil hard the last time as well. The 16" pizza was pretty good, but way overpriced at $37. I have gone to this place a couple of times. The first one I liked it like 7/10, second one 7.5/10 but the third on OMG D'LISH 11/10. I have my favorite pasta now and I am picky AF, but daaaam it was good. So... I totally recommend this place and this dish. The service is really good and friendly. We have been loyal customers since the 90s. The service and quality of the food have gone downhill fast the during the two most recent times we went. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt after our last visit. Big mistake... Our server had a MAJOR attitude and she gave me a hard time removing the charge from a soda that she charged me for despite the soda machine being broken. My poor son's fettuccine came out after we were done with our food. When it DID finally come out, it was watery with a soup-like consistency. They have a coupon in the getonefree magazine. There's a new owner. We were there yesterday and they are now charging for breadsticks and they didn't have beer or wine. I've eaten there dozens of times and never had a bad meal, however I was disappointed that the server asked if we wanted French fries or salad with our wraps and then charged us for them. The wraps come with a side salad so he made it sound like we had a choice of either. Ordered Cajun chicken pasta and tequila shrimp, when hubby arrived home we had tequila chicken instead. Although it was good it was not what I ordered. I called Dlish and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes I explained what happened and the girl asked would I like to come and get a shrimp one, I said no it was 20 minutes each way and would she just correct the charge, she hung up so I called again another disconnect, then I told my husband to call after being put on hold disconnected he called several times with the same outcome. Favorite pasta place in the area! Been coming here with my family for years. Servers here are always friendly and accommodating. And the food is absolutely delicious. Good portions of food for a decent price. I order something different every time I visit and they have all been great! My favorites have to be the Alfredo chicken fettuccine and the tequila chicken fettuccine. I even like their pizza and I'm generally not a big pizza fan. Went to dinner with a friend last night. First, my chicken alfredo was served like soup. It's like they threw the pasta in my bowl with a bunch of pasta water- zero taste and ultra runny. I sent it back and got a new one. The second one was better. My friend and I were enjoying conversation when a lady (manager maybe?) came over to us and leaned over our table like Guido was about to break out knees, and very dryly said , " I hate to do this but we need to sit 16 people. We have a sign posted outside." We were taken aback by the manner this all went down. She seemed irritated with us, and she and another waitress basically stood there while we grabbed our stuff to leave- like we were criminals. That was one of the most embarrassing and rude things I've ever experienced at a restaurant. It was even worse than when I found a rubber glove in my pasta at Applebee's. I completely understand they wanted the table, but they could have absolutely handled that sooo much better. They could have nicely said, "Hi ladies, we're so sorry but it's a very busy night for us. If there's nothing else we can get for you, would you kindly allow us to sit another waiting party?" Then given us a couple of minutes to collect our things. We would have been more than happy to go. My wife asked a marinara spaghetti, because the size of the plate, my wife wanted to share the half with my daughter, so asked the waiter to split the plate in two portions and the manager said that is not possible and offer to bring two plates instead. About the prices are too high vs the food taste and quality 2. The marinara spaghetti is made with the same sauce that this restaurant use to bring bread sticks entrees and the sauce is not at a good taste quality level for a Italian restaurant. 3. About waiter service and Restaurant condition The waiter was very good with the customer service. The restaurant as always... Was very clean and comfortable. The background music at a very good volume level and good music quality. The restroom very clean and everything is a proper way. Personal advice. The food quality has to increase, has to match the prices, this prices are not expensive but deserves more quality. The management criteria has the increase, normally in a Italian restaurant the portion of food is very vast, so it would be good if the restaurant can offer half portions, not because the price, is because the amount of food that will not be eaten at the moment. I immediately called the restaurant to tell them. I told the woman who answered the phone that I didn't get the correct pizza. She said, "I was wondering why this pizza was here." And then said, "you can come and pick it up." I told her that was not an option which is why I had my food delivered. DLish is absolutely bomb! Service is pretty ok, food is kind of pricey but they give you a big portion. We came in on a Friday around 2PM and it wasn't packed like sardines but there were quite a bit of people. Lots of older people from what I saw. My son ordered off the regular lunch combo a pepperoni pizza and it Included a side salad. My baby girl ordered a the kale salad and baes ordered the tilapia and me myself I got the chipotle diablo chicken pasta which was amazing! So flavorful as well as my baby's tilapia it had a unique flavor to the pasta. This spot gives me that filippis/ la Bella's vibe but more unique menu, craft beer and more pricey. This place use to be great but not sure what's happened if it's new workers or if the inflation prices have affected this place but my husband and I use to come here after working out at the gym and share a to-go salad and about a month ago we grabbed a "full" Greek Mediterranean salad and I was stunned to find very little salad and feta cheese in it and some of the shredded carrots looked brown! I had to go to my refrigerator and add my own veggies, cheese, and croutons to be able to split this with my husband.
