It wasn't too bad. The pricing structure was a little strange. I didn't want to get a meal, which doesn't come with a drink, by the way. But O wanted to try two different spice levels and preferred to just get two sandwiches. That wasn't an option. So the gal said I could get a sandwich as tenders meal and do each as a different spice levels. Sounds great. Turns out it it's a chicken sandwich and tendER, not a chicken sandwich and chicken tenderS. There was just one tender. Lame. Only sugar free soda from the fountain was Pepsi Zero. That was it. Was welcomed by Ethan when I first arrived and the place was very clean and set up well. Ordered the original spicy chicken with fries and a cookie. I gotta say this is the first restaurant I have been to that if you move into the higher levels of spice , you get the higher level. The chicken was juicy and tender and the pickles and slaw added perfect flavor. The fry sauce they had was also their special blend and paired perfectly with the fries. This was the day before SB 60 so Ethan and I had some fun banter back and forth about his Seaclucks and my Patriots. Will definitely be back next time I'm in spokane read more

I found this place when looking for the best places to eat in Spokane, and came across it and was interested in giving it a try since I am a big fan of very spicy chicken sandwiches. Was surprised to see there was a drive thru when I came here. Ambiance is that of a fast-food restaurant. Service was very friendly, patient, and helpful especially because I needed help deciding what I wanted. In the end, I got a chicken at Lift-Off spicy, which is their second spiciest. I opted not to get the spiciest because it is very subjective. I can handle extremely spicy food, but I wanted to see what their second one was like before ordering the spiciest, especially since there is a big jump between the two. I also got their original chicken sandwich which came with chicken, pickles, coleslaw, hot sauce, all on a brioche bun. I got spicy (which is the third spiciest). The lift off was not spicy at first but slowly caught up. It was delicious! The spicy (third spiciest) was actually not very spicy in my opinion. I plan on visiting this place at least one more time and getting both items maybe one at liftoff and the other one at the most spicy level. Overall, this place is a solid spicy chicken sandwich place. read more

The best part about the experience is the vibe and the branding! It was really fun to come here. Now the food was pretty delicious! And the service was good. The price point is what's getting me. The fact that a platter of a handful of fries is like $10 makes me not want to come back here. But overall it was yummy. Do yourself a favor Spokane and don't even bother going here. I was the only one in the Drive-thru and took about 10 minutes of waiting to order. Then after ordering, the cashier couldn't work the register. Then after swiping my card, I noticed that the cashier had manually added a tip for himself. Must be nice. Then another 10 minutes to get the food. Then after showing the cashier the added tip on the receipt, he exclaimed he "didn't add that". I explained that he did. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. I really enjoyed the crispy fries and chicken sandwich. I got the hot spice level and it wasn't hot. Well I signed the waiver for the hottest sauce and as expected wicked hot. I ate half my chicken tender. The dipping sauce is really good. Before blowing my mouth out I tried a chicken sandwich with the second hottest sauce and it was awesome. I also tried tenders with the 3rd hottest sauce and it was okay. Overall I enjoyed their chicken sandwich and would do that again. If you like hot food you should give the hottest a go, it was fun minus the heartburn. read more

As a fan of Nashville Hot Chicken I was super excited to try this place! First off the staff was super friendly! Secondly, the chicken tenders are cooked really well, cooked through but still very juicy and tender meat. I wanted to try different spice levels so I got the tenders meal with mild, medium and spicy. The heat levels definitely ratchet up with each step but they are all delicious. Not just spicy for the sake of spicy but still have a smoky flavor. Spicy level is definitely as high as I want to go, she was fire enough for me at that level. I usually like spicy food and enjoyed that level...but I'm afraid of the next two levels. Fry sauce is in point and the shake was perfect for taming the fire beast in my mouth! We went for lunch on a work day so we didn't stay long, but while we were there it was really enjoyable. The inside is really cool! We loved the decor- even the counter where the check stand was is neat! It was like a marble counter that had res lights inside so it lit up. The menus are bright and easy to read as well, which was great. The service: Everyone was wonderful! The young man who took our order was kind and explained everything for us. He was super accommodating. Same goes for the manager. He was just happy! He seemed like he genuinely cared about us (and everyone) enjoying their meal and experience. He made sure we had everything we needed and that everything came out perfect! He even spent time walking around the dining room to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal and to see if they needed anything. He was really great. The food: I got the cheesey hot chicken sandwich, mild, and a chicken tender, medium. All the food was delicious! The fries were even the perfect amount of crispy! My guest that attended the event got the original hot chicken sandwich, spicy, and the chicken tender, spicy. He also enjoyed his meal, but I will say he under estimated the spice level! Haha. He is Hispanic and can usually take the heat (and he did this time as well), but his eyes were sure watering! lol so beware, when they say spicy - they mean spicy! Update 2/3/24: Ownership/Manager reached out to me, and explained the systemic issue they are having with their online menus in WA and CA. I appreciate the transparency, and will remove the more caustic comments of my previous review... I'm not a fan of reviewing chains, but the next closest one is 400 miles away, so... While your average lunch here will run you in the mid/high-teen$, you do get a satisfying amount and shouldn't leave hungry. I went with their medium heat, and it had a nice clip without overpowering flavors. And the flavors were good. But man-oh-man we all just can't get away from the use of sugar in sauces in this dang country, can we? That said, younger folks will like the set up--with fancy lighting and thumpin' beats. And the youthful staff were all helpful, happy, and seemed to be enjoying working there. I'm glad we tried it, and on a return visit would probably try the next level, heat-wise... read more

First time trying HHC and also my first experience with hot chicken in WA since my spouse and I moved here from LA. I have to say, it was pretty delicious! The chicken was tender, juicy, and fresh. As for the fries, it might have been an off day--they tasted a bit bland and not very fresh. They were okay, but nothing special. I did enjoy the pickles as a nice touch, though! I wish there was an option to substitute the fries for pickle fries or another alternative. I'm not sure if that's available, but I'll definitely ask next time. One small gripe: charging $1.00 for two packets of BBQ sauce (Bulls-Eye brand) feels a bit steep. That said, I'm still a fan. The customer service was great--super quick and efficient. We were in and out in about 5-7 minutes. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! I'd even say it could go toe-to-toe with Howlin' Ray's chicken. I'll definitely be back! read more

Ok. So last weekend this hoppin joint had a grand opening complete with the promise of free food and even a hot chicken challenge. The vibe was like that of a movie premiere! Spokane really knows how to turn out for new places. My main goal was to enter the 'Houston, We Have A Problem' 2M Scolville chicken tender eating challenge. While this may sound crazy, I was excited and took my whole family and even invited a friend and his son! Sadly, I was not chosen to partake. Ok, so the line was extremely long but the staff (even some from corporate) were so warm and friendly. Drones were flying, cameras were filming, and many cheers were had. All that before the doors even opened. Once the doors opened, the smell of the chicken immediately hit you. The line moved quickly and hundreds of boxes of free chicken were handed out. You could try Honey Butter, Mild, Medium, and Hot. The latter was in short supply, and offered some heat, but nowhere near 2M! Great opening day. I've been to HHC about 10-15 times across 2 years, and every single time has been the exact same experience. it'll be 10/10 chicken consistently, with good portion sizes, but whatever ticketing system they use has to be confusing employees as far as the sauce goes. every time I've been I got the sandwich and tender combo. tender is always perfect. no complaints. the sandwich though, will 100% of the time have sauce on it. it's been like 12 times in a row across 2 locations that I asked for no sauce no pickles, and they always do no pickles, but put the sauce on anyways. I'm gonna keep coming cause the chicken is so good but if you want no sauce, probably just go inside to save time when they put it on. read more

The atmosphere and workers are nice. Wait time for your food can be long. Food is a big too pricey. It was around $22 for my meal of a burger, fries, and a chicken strip. The food itself is okay. The chicken is cooked well but there is no flavor in the chicken. A problem more prominent the spicer you get. Its really relying on you eating it with sauce or other things. I'm sure .they think they're onto something here, but there are literally dozens of places in Spokane that offer (a) better chicken, (b) spicier food, and/or (c) better value. For $13, I got twenty crispy krinkle fries, two scrawny chicken strips, and a pickle. I'm sorry -- two pickles -- that's where the value is, apparently. When I placed my order, the cashier made a very big deal deal about my request for spicy noodles ("are you sure? they're five times as spicy as as our medium." There was nothing spicy about them. I'll admit that I have a high spice tolerance, but if you're going to start with that disclaimer, actually deliver something. The chicken finger I received were tiny, dried out, and lame. On the bright side, the fries were good -- all twenty of them. In a place like Spokane, concepts like "Hot Chicken" are likely to motivate, but there's absolutely nothing special about this place...or its food. Bland, unspicy, and expensive. Fix at least one of these things, and maybe you'll have something. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite while up north today. The service was very fast and friendly. The bathrooms had a code....but I immediately understood why as there was a woman who seemed to be taking a bath in the sink but the staff handled it gracefully without having to cause a scene. The food was fresh and came out very fast. I really liked the seasoning on the fry's. The chicken was fine. It was a chicken sandwich not sure I'd say it was memorable or vastly different than any other place in town but it was good and even the medium had some decent heat to it. The frozen cucumber watermelon lemonade tho was the start. Absolutely delightful. You can even buy a shot of vodka to go in them which I'm sure is fantastic.
